Comfortable, well located hotel with private car park behind the property - best to park there before checking in as it is accessed from a different road to the front of the hotel. Close to the town centre and shops. Ten minutes walk from the atmospheric Am Stintmarkt area with many restaurants beside the canal.

An unusual number of sirens from police, fire or ambulance vehicles night and morning!

The building is very narrow and the stairs are very steep. It's a bit tricky to go up and down if one has difficulty walking or for small kids. There is only the aforementioned main stairs case for emergency exit in case of fire. We would have appreciated to have either sprinklers in the corridor in case of fire, or a second emergency stair case to escape safety if needed.

Everything went smooth, the staff is super friendly and the brekkie is big and - for me - has everything. The room has everything needed and is neat and tidy.

Even for a single bedroom the room was pretty small. The so called terrace is just a 4 sqm fenced backyard with no view at all, so I wouldn't count that as a bonus. The Wifi is free and speedy but not secured.

The room could use some paintings or pictures; it’s a bit Spartan, although certainly clean and comfortable.

COVID had led to a significant reduction in reception hours, but staff went to some trouble to keep us informed and make sure we had access. Limited choice at breakfast, but freshness and quality very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a good location close to the city centre. The building is historical in a quiet area. It is comfortable, well equipped, and environmentally friendly. I liked the breakfast, it was delicious and the nice welcome from the staff.

Very close to the charming city centre, 5 min walk. Free and easy parking at the back of the hotel. Friendly staff, very accommodating. Good breakfast. Modern and charming interior.

The room is rather small and there was no desk. But I'd stay again when I have the chance. The stairs are not suited for everyone as they are steep. And the bed was a bit too soft for me. But the pro's definitely weigh out the small con's

I loved the room! It was a single room, tiny but adorable. And the bathroom was surprisingly spacious! All the staff was very helpful. A short walk from the old town.

I would recommend people to bring ear plugs or a white noise machine (that's what I had). I was able to clearly hear the snoring from the room next to me until I turned on the white noise.

A tiny room, but really perfect for one person. The hotel is almost in the historical city center. The parking lot is convenient. And the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

From my point of view, there are no disadvantages.

This is such a cute little hotel and the staff goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make your stay sweet! They even got me VEGAN breakfast although this is an "old" hotel. I was very impressed.

Maybe a not as cozy/comfortable (black leather couches..) but all in all this was an amazing stay so this is was of little impact
