The hotel was very comfortable. Our room was in the annex and faced the street, however, it was very quiet with good insulation. Breakfast was excellent. Car parking was very reasonably priced for a city centre hotel. We had a rented hybrid estate and had to use an upper level to park which was accessed by a lift. Given the size of the car, access was very tight and, for us, required a person to guide the car into the lift. Staff were very helpful. Marburg's altstadt is very accessible.

We loved the balcony, although the air-conditioning was also very pleasant on a hot August day. Having a fridge and a kettle in the room was great. The bathroom was large and modern. We had two chairs by the desk - good for a couple. The television included BBC NEWS and BBC1 and BBC2. Breakfast was great - a buffet with a good range. The location was central. We parked at the Parkdeck at the station some hours before check-in and ended up leaving the car there: 7 euros for 24 hours. It was a 5-min walk to the hotel.

We had an excellent 3 nights staying here whilst visiting Marburg for a friend's wedding. It is in an excellent location for exploring everything in Marburg easily by foot. The room was great - spacious and clean with a comfy bed and good air conditioning. Nice bathroom too. Breakfast was really excellent. I especially loved the pancake and butter machines! All of the staff were lovely. Thank-you very much, we hope to return :-)

Staff lovely and friendly, without exception. Very good sized room, with a terrace (we had chosen 'luxury room) and lots of natural light. Well equipped with fridge, kettle, mugs and wine glasses, very good safe. Plenty of storage space. Welcome packets of gummi bears. Good sized bathroom, with very good shower. Very large heated towel rail, magnifying mirror. If you chose not to have your room cleaned on any particular day, you could indicate this by hanging a little canvas bag on your door - which the hotel staff then left a little treat in, in recognition. Very nice personal touch. Hotel was an easy walk from the station, in the same street as the Elisabethkirche, and a 5 minute walk to the start of the cobbled street leading up towards the old town centre. Breakfast was very good - not quite as extensive as some, but good range of german breads and rolls, cheese and meats, as well as fruit, cereals and yoghurt, Breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming - lovely way to start the day.

Very little! Bed was two separate mattresses pushed together, so bit of a gap in between. Smoking allowed on terraces - understandable, but meant potentially being affected by smell of smoke from neighbouring guests. Just powdered creamer in room for coffee, rather than milk. All extremely minor - certainly wouldn't prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending the hotel

Check-in fast, friendly, and "early" (allowed to use the room befor 12pm). The room was very spacious, with huge terrace and the view on a nice Buntsandstein outcrop with plenty of plants and trees was something unexpected (in a nice way) for a view almost in the center of Marburg. Breakfast was excellent in terms of variety and taste! The hotel is listed as 3 star property. Well, if this is (only) 3 stars, then the place I stayed the night before (as well listed with 3 stars) would have trouble getting 1 star if compared directly! Staff was super-friendly, too.

location is central - rooms are very spacious and some have a very nice balcony- consider that this is a hotel in the city - hence church bells and city life/cars- but with the windows closed, the room is quiet.

corridors are dated and for some you need to consider a 4minutes walk back to the reception

Big room and nice, polite, helpful staff. Big breakfast with a huge choice. Central location and easy to reach. Even it looked older it did not feel old. All well maintained, clean and looking good

The parking for the car is too small. The car needs to fit in old boxes and for new cars it is too small. The hotel is a maze as it is old ans the access to the neighbor building is only on one floor. Looms ways within the hotel. But this is not too bad.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean, light and of a reasonable size. The bed was comfortable and the facilities in the room were of a high standard. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. The parking for the motorcycles was useful. The location of the hotel was convenient, only a 15 minute walk to the town square. There were plenty of places to eat close by.

I loved this hotel, it is very close to the centre and easy to reach. The staff are bilingual and very nice. I loved the breakfast options.

The hotel was affected by bad weather during the winter, and the internet was not working at the time. This should be improved on.

Pillows: 1, too soft, too flat Garage: 1, too narrow. Restaurant: waiter not very nice and the Paella too salty. TV: All in German, not international, no subs. It is something common in Germany. They do not realized that most of the people speak English, not German. Breakfast: good coffee but bad bread. Not sweet things.
