Very beautiful place, comfortable rooms. The breakfast is also excellent with a lot of varieties. Very good food and wine. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Sour milk at breakfast, limited eating options: hotel's restaurant was closed, golf course's restaurant was average.

Love this hotel. Quaint on a hillside in the German vineyards. Love the staff and breakfast in phenomenal. Great stay and value!

No restaurant despite being advertised on booking.com. Closed 5 years ago apparently. Leisure facilities closed. No staff around at all in the evening Nobody able to help a guest that arrived whilst we were in the lobby so we had to help the poor man. If we hadn’t have been there he wouldn’t have been able to get his room key. Or get into the building having driven a long long way. He appreciated our help.

The location is great, in the country side if you need an escape from the city, it’s clean and the rooms are decent size

If you arrive later than 8pm, there’s no one at reception. The hotel extension is new but the facilities look dated. Our toilet seat was broken, so unlike Germany. The towels were poor quality and overall it was so underwhelming given that we were great fans of the group and have dinned at their restaurant many times. We also had a baby and they wanted to charge us for a crib, cribs are free at every hotel. I ended up not booking a crib and had baby in bed with us instead

The hotel itself is nice, the staff when they were present were friendly but that is where the good ends

Upon arriving we were advised the restaurant was shut and has been for 5 years, depsite booking.com advtetising it as being open. Without this we would not have booked this location. So after a 10 hour drive we are told there is no restaurant and all the wellness faciltiies are shut off. On night two there was not a single member of staff on site. As a result of this at 10:30pm myself and my colleagues were woken by an older guest who had just arrived and was trying to check in. He could not access the building without us triggering the internal doors. He tried to no avail to contact a member of staff and all he was given was a code to access a key box that did not work! Without us present I assume he would have slept in his car! I question what would happen in the event of a fire with no staff! Booking.com asked fo my feedback and I duly told them and they asked what compensation I would like. Strangley enough after replying asking for a discount their customer service team have gone missing! Bye Booking.com
