The personnel of the Domschatz is very professional. We always come to Quedlinburg every summer and this is where we stay. The breakfast is amazing and always very fulfilling. There is a high class coffee machine where the guests can get free coffee (and other non-caffeinated beverages) for free up to 6 PM. You can also sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the morning looking at the castle and the church. Downtown is some minutes away walking. There are some parking spaces at the hotel, but if you run out of luck, there are some free parking spaces in the nearby.

If you are trying to be completely cash-less (like a do), there is a local tax that needs to be paid and they take that only with cash (the payment for the stay can obviously be paid with card).

- My room (#6) with a single bed was unbelievably small, it was like a large pantry (excluding the bathroom). It didn't bother me personally because I travel light. My suitcase (medium-sized) fit perfectly under the table. - Breakfast room is a bit cramped, not much room to spread out and away from other guests. Also not a big fan of the radio with modern music playing in the background. - About 10-15 minutes to the Rathaus, which isn't bad, but be aware that some walking will be involved to get to the "center" - No refrigerator in the room

Nice hotel in very good location - just near castle and in short pleasant walk by picturesque streets to Market Square. Comfortable room, good breakfast, сaring and attentive staff. Free coffee, tea and water. Though it was written that the only spoken language in hotel is German, part of staff speaks English and we didn't have any problem with misunderstanding. Our room was on the upper, second floor but the staircase was easy). We were excited to receive free coffee with apple pie upon arrival. We enjoyed our coffee sitting at a table in the street near hotel and overlooking the castle and surrounding charming fachwerk buidings. This was wonderful start of our visit to Quedlinburg. After our walks across  the city we appreciated the location of hotel near the Castle as the best option. U

Everything was perfect

Beautiful building, very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Because the building is historic it has not been possible to install a lift so important to request a lower floor room if you have heavy luggage. The receptionist directed us to the Wordhaus restaurant nearby which was lovely. Faultless hotel.

Cumbersome door locks.

We liked the thoughtful arrangement for tea and coffee. We appreciated the special effort a staff member-Brittany spent in helping us solve our transportation problem. We would recommend the hotel highly.

First floor accommodation was not available, but was not expected.

Breakfast - buffet style Good selection of cut meat and cheese. Along with various types of rolls. Cereal and yoghurts also available. Scrambled and boiled eggs offered. Room - clean and comfortable with a decent sized bathroom. Overall room was bigger than expected it to be. Location - perfect. Few minutes walk into the main part of the old town. 20/25 mins walk from train station.

Nothing really. It’s an old building so no lift. Not an issue for me, but just a note for people that need one.

I liked the staff, the place was comfy and right in front of the castle. Room looked great and cozy. There is also a coffee machine that you can use whenever you like, close to the entrance to the hotel. The breakfast was good as well, but I wish there was a little bit more diversity.

I had a really lovely time. Staff were helpful and friendly. I also liked the check-in and out policy. As a single traveller, it is very helpful to have flexible check-in and out times.

Great friendly people! They really make you feel at home. Such a positive atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings, perfect location and everything was there. Super stay!

Beautiful hotel, great location close to the center. Quiet place. Parking directly at the hotel (8 EUR) or in a public parking lot (4 EUR) about 100m from the hotel Very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately, they did not speak English. Room smaller but perfectly furnished. I really appreciate the minibar, free water, table and chairs. Very comfortable beds. Great breakfast, plenty of everything including hot food.
