We chose the new annexe because it has a lift. The room was large and comfortable and the air-conditioning was very effective which was just as well because we were in a heatwave. The staff were friendly and helpful and the situation could not be bettered. The breakfast buffet was relatively simple but what was on offer was good quality. It pays to got to breakfast early because things tended to run out.

This is an observation, not a criticism. The hotel was not serving evening meals at that time and we did not realise that it can be difficult to get a table at weekends unless you book ahead. I don't know if this is the general rule in Germany or because Quedlinburg is so popular.

We had an excellent, large "comfort" room with views of the Marktplatz. The old-style decor was very nice. There was a fan in the room which was a welcome addition. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They also spoke good English which isn't that common in this area. The breakfast was very good and the room was pleasant to sit in.

The hotel Wi-Fi was basically unuseable. Thankfully I had mobile data and the free Quedlinburg Wi-Fi also worked. It wasn't a problem for us, but the old part of the hotel has steep stairs and no lift so I would not recommend it for those with reduced mobility.

Staying at the hotel (and Quedlingburg) was like living in a fairytale.. The hotel was full of character befitting such an old building. Marvellously restored. A treat to stay in such a great location. No lift in our side of the building… so what.! We had to climb three flights of beautifully restored staircases.. loved the exercise! I do accept that not all would like this.. but such an old building shouldn’t have a lift.. 😊 besides.. the hotel staff are happy to help with luggage.

Perhaps (and only perhaps).. air-con for those very hot summer days…

I had asked for a room on a lower floor and was given a room on the first floor. There is no elevator. Probably all rooms are different but we liked ours very much. Our room looked out upon the main street. We found our room to be quiet. The staff was courteous and helped get our luggage up to our room. The car parking may be a little hard to find but there were many spaces available. A generous breakfast was available. No restaurant for other meals at this time.

When I took a shower about 7:30-8:00 AM, I found that the water was hot one minute and cold another minute. I learned to keep one hand on faucet at all times.

The location of this hotel was superb, directly across from the Rathaus in the Altstadt. The rooms have been refurbished and are very clean, comfortable and tasteful. The breakfast was excellent. The staff (especially during breakfast) was so friendly, cheerful and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent choice of a hotel in beautiful Quedlinburg

The breakfast was great, and every day something was different in the buffet. There was even champagne! The room was clean and big and the staff was very sweet. The hotel has a great location. I would love to come again.

The parking situation was not good. There was limited parking places and some of them were in a burned down house, that looked a little dangerous. Also I dont remember being informed about turisttaxes until the end of my stay, so that was a surprise. Otherwise everything was great.

The hotel amenities are really good. Breakfast was tasty and had lot of options for all types of dietary needs. Staff is courteous and helpful.

Some rooms have noisy floors but have good view of market from window. Luckily I didn't get the room. My room looked newly built/renovated.

I was fortunate to be in the corner room 13, which must have the best view in the city.

Parking could be more convenient. Even the hotel parking (which was full) was further than desired. But one learns to expect this in special places designed before cars.

In the middle of the town. Real historical house. Great, delicious breakfast! Very kind hostess on reception)

There is no parking, there were no places. Creaking bed, lack of air conditioning and elevator, low doorways. But this is a fee for a historic house in the city center)

location is perfect, you will not find a better located hotel. The hotel is amazing and clean. the family rooms are in the 4th floor, so it was hard with the kids, but the view from the rooms was wow. I still don’t know if it was worth it.
