The staff was fantastic! We were greeted warmly and treated well. Our train the next morning was early, and they even accommodated us getting breakfast a few minutes before the regular 6 am schedule. To top it off, breakfast was as good or even better than expected. Our room was made up perfectly to accommodate two children and one adult. No furniture adjustments or making beds required. The shower water pressure was amazing! After a very long traveling day, it was quite welcomed. We arrived on a very unusually hot day in Germany. With a little patience and understanding that air conditioners in Europe aren’t as “intense” it became quite comfortable, particularly since there was a table fan as well. We travel through Ramstein somewhat regularly. Now that we know about this hotel, we will be returning.

I love this location and the prices are so much cheaper than lodging on base. Breakfast if good and I always sleep so good through the night. Staff is super nice and always acknowledge everyone that passes by the desk.

I paid for a room that was supposed to have a couch in the description. The room was nice and big but would have been nice to have that couch to sit and watch TV on our down time. I booked the room just for that reason because it said that there would be a couch. I wish they had a ice machine the one they had was just like a small one that you would have at home and it never had ice. I was visiting for a tournament and needed to ice at night but never had any ice.

Hotel America is an older but cute hotel. Breakfast was plenty and varied every day. It was a buffet type with a selection of cold meets, nuts, fruits and juices. The breakfast room was large and adorned with antiques that made you feel you were in older times. We were able to do laundry for a few Euros, and used a microwave which was a plus. It snowed when we were there and our room was facing the forest which let us hear the birds in the morning and the snow on the trees. Staff was friendly and helpful. They called a taxi, every time we needed, and advised us about public transportation. Ema’s Restaurant which is a few steps from the hotel offers huges dishes. So if you go buy the small size of anything and you will be satisfied.

I didn’t like that in order to get to your room dragging suitcases you have to go up a set of steps, many steps. The hotel has a secret entrance to a Big Mama or Emas restaurant but they close the front and secret entrance at nine. So in order to get to your room you have to walk to the back of the hotel and use the stairs on the back of the hotel. the hotel is located a short distance from Ramstein and is cheaper than the Ramstein Inn.

The hotel offers good service at a competitive price. The breakfast is simple but all of good quality, with a rotating selection of baked goods and cheeses/cured meats. The free coffee from the machine near the front desk is a life-saver. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

The rooms are not sound-proofed very well. Guests can easily hear noise in the hallways generated by other guests and opening/closing doors . Also, the full-size/queen-size bed is two twin-sized mattresses in the same frame, so there is a slight gap between them - this may be uncomfortable for some guests.

The hotel is perfect if you’re transiting through Ramstein. We stayed here on the front and back end of a trip. Easy walk to the train, even with our carry-on luggage. Lovely breakfast and staff. What might be the best part of this hotel is the adjoining restaurant, Big Emma’s. Fantastic food! One night there was love singing and dancing.

The air conditioning isn’t great, but given it isn’t usually that hot on Germany, it isn’t a deal breaker.

I am handicapped and had an issue with a Polish guest’s license plated car blocking two parking spaces. I had a difficult time in parking my vehicle and the walk was far to my room. I raised the issue to the reception staff and they promised to fix this. Thank you.

Spacious and well equipped room, clean, nice staff, parking, a good restaurant next to the hotel( tasty food- drinks a bit overpriced though), limited but tasty breakfast.

Room facilities a bit dated our room window would not close properly, no elevators(only 2 floors), reception is closed at 9 (but you can enter through a side entrance).. it looks more like a motel that you find in the US. Still we enjoyed the stay there..

Kind staff in reception, cozy restaurant with rich breakfast, coffee whole day. No problem with car parking. The room wasn't small. There are a public swimming pool nearby. The place of the hotel is easy reachable from autobahns.

The room was crying a little bit, because it wants some repair - floor, furniture etc was poor. Because of that reasons the room looked a bit dirty.

the rooms are a fantastic size. the breakfast was super. the staff was so kind and helpful. the property is very accommodating a perfect location.

the rooms were hot, the fan system was hard to figure out. I wish they could label the fan. the windows opened helped but there aren’t any screens on the windows to be prepared for mosquitos. Lastly, the television was really hard to manage with the remote. there wasn’t a way to change the Language to English in little America, ironically. lol. these are very minor complaints and in all wouldn’t effect me from choosing this location again. I really liked this property.

Very clean and comfortable. A very nice breakfast in the morning. A decent location between Landstuhl and Ramstein.

One of the staff was very rude to me when I asked about access after hours. I was surprised by his reaction when I asked a simple question. I had to wait at reception for a while on arrival as nobody was there, however I received a call from the owner apologising for that and he offered me free breakfast for the inconvenience. An unexpected nice touch.
