I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel! The room was incredibly spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. It was convenient to have a fridge in the room and plenty of plugs available for all our electronic devices. We were also pleasantly surprised to find complimentary water provided in the room. It's always a small but thoughtful gesture that enhances the overall experience. The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations with its wide range of choices. There was something for everyone, from hot and cold options to various pastries, fruits, and beverages. The quality and variety of the breakfast items really made for a great start to the day.

Being close to the train station may also have its advantages, but the level of noise experienced by people gathering in front of it during the night was beyond what I anticipated.

Great location by the station. Room was very nice, clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and nice.

The room was a bit cold. The information leaflets in the room were outdated. Room service walked into the room before checkout time even though the “do not disturb” sign was hanging at the door.

Excellent breakfast and kind staff! It's near the train station but quiet rooms guaranteeing a decent rest! You can park in the streets nearby for free over night, so no need to pay for parking. Also, WiFi was good!

Very helpful receptionist enabled us to access our room at 11:00 am. Adequate sized room with good storage space for an overnight stay. Adequate sized bathroom with good flat storage space and an acceptable shower. Excellent buffet breakfast with good selection of cereals, fruit, breads, cheeses and meats. Breakfast available from 06:00 am. Few minutes walk to the main station and a 15-20 minute walk to the Altstadt.

The bathroom washbasin was of adequate size for the bathroom but use was made difficult by the tap being in the centre of the basin. A common design and instalation failing for washbasins of that size.

Right next to the train station so it was super easy to get around. Close to the town centre as well. You get everything you expect, a nice clean room, lots of towels, a fridge was a plus. Good wifi. I think there was a ”sky” bar but we didnt check it out. We could leave our bags there before check in. Nice bathrooms, the shower was very nice.

The beds were not that comfortable, they were hard, but it was okay. Would be nice with an AC you can control yourself. There was only a 3 in 1 hand, body, shampoo soap. It didnt smell good (fragrance free). It seems common here in germany with those 3 in 1 soaps but I would’ve wished for separate shampoo and conditioner as I didnt bring any because I thought it would be available. Only two pillows for a double bed, would be nice with an extra one in the closet.

(What did I like?) In summary: CityTicket for your entire stay, including both your checkin and checkout date + mostly friendly, accommodating staff, especially Mr. Gronz/Grons. In detail: As said, the hotel gives you a day ticket for your entire stay, including the check-in and check-out dates. We were going to stay just one night + we were going to reach the hotel too late on the first night, so the day ticket for the check-in date was of no use to us anyway. I spoke to Mr. Grons/Gronz and asked him if he could give us the ticket for the day after the checkout date instead (we had an airbnb booking for the rest of the weekend) and he kindly arranged it for us. It was rather a favor I had asked for (with no extra cost to the hotel, just the change of dates for the tickets), and him agreeing over the phone and overall friendly vibe won me to make this booking compared to their competition at a lower price. :) But then their other staff Ms. <name now hidden so as to not cause any harm/public humiliation to anyone> tried to ruin the fun by immediately responding negatively to my note in the booking + my email (after I had made the non-cancellable booking). It was quite disappointing, disheartening, and I even felt betrayed a little. I tried to reason with Ms. <hidden> (after all there was no extra cost to the hotel) but she just kept interrupting me, just kept saying no. Anyway, when we arrived Mr. Gronz had made sure that the hotel kept their word though. Good, friendly professional customer service from him and the rest of the staff when we arrived. I met Ms. <hidden> in person the next morning when doing the checking out, she did appear a little too stern then in person as well, friendly and accommodating are NOT definitely the adjectives I would use for her, but for Mr. Gronz definitely. Final verdict: Based on my positive experience overall with the hotel, I would highly recommend the hotel and will likely stay here in my next trip.

One particular staff member could have been a little more patient, a little more accomodating and friendly. Professionalism does not necessarily equate to unfriendliness/non-accommodating nature, in fact it is the opposite, especially when it comes to the customer facing role. Anyway, it was a good stay overall, compensated by the behavior of the other staff, the location, the facilities, cleanliness of the room, 10/10 rating from my side therefore.

Since I arrived by train in the evening, I was glad that the hotel is near the train station. I lived in complete silence, I didn't feel that trains were running nearby. The room is exceptionally neat and clean. Inexpensive, really good value for money.

I didn't like that there was not a single TV channel in English, and some of the channels in the list did not turn on at all. The space upon entering the hotel lobby is reminiscent of socialist times. The interior is terrible.

quiet room . dark with curtains closed . like that for sound sleep. big room and good bed. all clean. breakfast a little pricey but very oomprehensive.

I don't like that there are no DO NOT disturb signs for the doors. Staff knock and open the door which could be compromising . night time check in guy 11 pm approx did not speak any English . and attitude a bit surly .

Location next to the train station, staff, comfortable room, great breakfast and the bonus of comfortable smoking room.

There was a slight musty smell overall, breakfast space limitation forced queueing, which is not ideal for business travellers starting early, the only solution seems to be to start breakfast earlier.

Modern hotel adjacent to Rostock station. Friendly staff. Lift to all floors. Good breakfast with hot and cold options served from 0600 most days. Quiet, clean room with mini safe.

A downside is the distance into the city centre (about a 15 minute walk) but there are trams from the adjacent station.
