Absolutely a beautiful location in the Franconian hills. Charming 'old school' family-run hotel with an actual person at the reception. The breakfast was delicious with a very varied selection of fruit, bread, cakes and a decent coffee on top. Having a charging station for our electric vehicle was also a nice welcome surprise. Definitively recommended.

Nothing to complain really. It was a bit further away from the motorway on top of a winding hill but it's hard to fault that given the beautiful view from the top.

I had to leave earlier as expected and checkout was not possible yet - reception is not 24h, the owner made checkout - sunday waking up especially for me, breakfast was served also shortly before usual opening time, thanks a lot, I travel usually with my lab and there was no problem, gerne wieder

The beautiful hotel was in scenic surroundings, but only accessible by car. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly, but not too charming.

As the restaurant was closed on Monday we had to travel 14 km to reach the next town for a good place to have dinner.

Great breakfast, great location, had dinner at the restaurant on the terrace overlooking the sunset. It was a stop on a journey from Berlin to Italy, but the place was worth a stop. We loved the family style and tradition. It is the second time we stop here

We wanted to take a walk in the woods, but the maps and descriptions are only in German, we would like them also in English

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I was on a roadtrip from Spain to Finland and needed a place to sleep on the road. Found this and it had a nice (and a really popular - full of guests) restaurant. The room had an amazing view over the fields and there was super quiet during the night. Breakfast also was excellent. Staff was super nice and polite.

The location, peace, room and staff were really good. Actually, at time of our arrival 2 weddings and 1 birthday party were ongoing and staff managed everything very nicely (next day shift was less friendly unfortunately). The restaurant offers typical local food, which was good as expected in Bavaria. Breakfast was also good. COVID-19 prevention measures were kept by all (guests and staff).

Next day staff was quite unpleasant and when we notified them about a fly in our sugar holder at our table, the reaction was strange (she collected the holder without any word, not bringing another one)

B'fast was good. Rooms were fairly new and very clean. Staff was friendly. Very limited parking on site so had to park at a remote location. Restaurant good w local dishes. Very nice and quiet location away from the autobahn, beautiful view of the rolling hills.

We used the hotel as a stopover on our way to Austria. The hotel is very authentic and has a super nice location off the beaten track, but still very close to the high way.

We followed googles suggestion for a route to the hotel from the highway coming from the north and that took us through some very small gravel roads - I would recommend coming from the south instead.
