This is a really excellent hotel in the centre of Schwenningen. We used it as a base for a motorcycle tour of the Black Forest and could not have been happier. The staff were absolutely lovely - in particular Jutta and Ronan (the owners) who went over and above in terms of customer service. The rooms are a good size, have really comfortable beds and excellent showers. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was superb. The bar and patio area was also really nice. The hotel does not currently offer lunch or dinner in the restaurant, but there are many good restaurants and bars within short walking distance, so this is not a problem at all. There is excellent, secure parking available for a very reasonable fee. One thing to be aware of is that motorcycles are not normally allowed in the parking garage, but if you speak with Jutta, she will sort if out for you for €5 per bike per night.

Absolutely nothing - it's a superb hotel.

Very good location and plenty of parking which was operated vrey well by the hotel. The hotel did not have a restaurant (other than for breakfast) but had a true 24 hojur service. One could go down to the reception or bar at alany time and get service.

Signage at entrance to parking is not good, no inication as to what level to go to. However, I gather others have also made this point to them.

Staff very nice and kind. Very convenient parking place, included in the room price, covered, and directly connected to the hotel lobby. Room very quiet and comfortable. Location fairly close to downtown (too bad that Schwenningen has no downtown to speak of). The whole building and structure seems to be quite new and in good shape. Very good quality/price ratio.

As in most german hotels, the bathroom has no real door and gives you no privacy.

The staff is very friendly. We especially liked the access to coffee lounge, with free hot drinks and space to make remote working comfortable. The size of the bedroom is good, and everything is very clean.

The bedroom windows overlook a busy street. Given the high temperatures this summer (and the thick carpet), we had to leave them open all night, which of course made sleeping a bit difficult.

The staff is something I have never seen before: extremely nice, straggling to help, with an endless smile. No staff in no hotel ever behaved like them. It looks like the owner of the hotel has a very friendly and human agenda, and he passes it to his staff. For that only I give 10. The hotel itself is cute, intinimc, and well located. Clean and organized. But the staff, ho the staff. I would love to have that stuff in any hotel.

We stayed here for one night passing through the Black Forrest Very modern hotel,fantastic room with everything we needed. comfortable, practical and central to shops and restaurants staff is super friendly and helpful

The only thing I want to point out was at the breakfast where staff was not quick enough to clear and clean the tables . When we came into the dining room, there were no clean tables. Not expected this during Covid. Could have been a one off as the breakfast buffet was excellent. Food was presented in wee jars which is a brilliant idea

Very good stay and I'm still amazed about the friendly staff. It's really unbelievable ! Breakfast was very good . Our room had a coffee maker, boiler for warm water, tea, cookies. Bed was really perfect quality ! Free coffee in the bar/lobby with cake. We could enlarge our checkout with 2 hours, free of charge. Perfect location in the city centre with lots of good restaurants. Sauna is also a plus.

Located in city centre with adjacent multi storey car park. very convenient for people arriving by car. Shopping areas and various places to eat located close by. staff were very friendly and helpful!

Overall nothing to complain about. only thing I would mention is that the night we stayed was very hot and humid and an A/C unit would have been nice. but we survived!

Central Hotel is always excellent. Jutta and Ronan are fantastic hosts and made our group of feel super welcome. The hotel is lovely, clean and modern, parking is excellent and breakfast is very good.

Really a nice hotel. Everything was clean and there had been thought a lot about every small little detail. Free coffee, tea, cake in a small cafe'. The room was really nice and large. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. Good breakfast as well - parking just next to the reception.Service was really friendly and attentive.
