Nice quiet place with great service and comfortable rooms. From now on it will be on my favourites list. I will be happy to come back here. Update: i had not enough time to write more so doing it right now: Room: small 2 person room but very comfortable with nice large bed and well equipped bathroom. Food: i had a chance to stay for breakfast only but I think it was enough to have some opinion about it. Well, food quality is awesome: everything is really tasty, fresh and well served. Comparing to 4 star hotel in Amsterdam I think cook and staff in Hotel Haus Duden should receive 6 stars just for food. Parking spaces: plenty, considering size of this hotel. Placement: Nice quiet area, all surrounded by trees and silence. Really place I would like to come back for rest and charge up again. Hotel offer bike rent, massage and has plenty of space to organize trainings, conferences , etc. Everything at countryside, far away from city noise with comfort and kindness of staff. Can you imagine more comfort ? Hotel was introduced as a 4 star but I think it deserve 6. Seriously. I really felt there as a special guest, like everybody else, I think.

Nothing to improve. Seriously, it's the first time I left a place thinking that everything was so ideal I have nothing more to say. Big thanks for all the staff for making this place so special !

We were at the new wing. Highly recommend it. The view was towards the forest, quiet and cosy place with great relaxing view, just like at your own porch. The dinner was also exceptional. One should try the lamb and the pork. I enjoyed the stay after returning from the bike's round trip.

Good to find a personal hotel, with an interesting back history. Really nice setting and it felt comfortable. We had a decent meal made better by the super waitress who was full of care and enthusiasm..At breakfast I found something that was outstanding.Years even 6 decades of travel and finally there it was..The perfect openable tomato sauce sashet.Worth going to find and marvel..

Everything was very good. The room, the staff, the food. At breakfast, you have a good choice of food. The people were nice, we also had free parking. The room was very well heated. We didn't mind that the room was "old school". We also had a dog with us.

It's not actually a minus, but the room is not very tall. We hit our heads a few times. Just keep this in mind when booking. Also, maybe a recommendation for the hotel.. It would be lovely to have some drinks in the minibar in the room.

The staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast (included), lunch, and dinner were all very tasty. The room (Suite 12) was very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for the purpose of my visit. I would definitely stay there again!

The refrigerator in my room was not working. It was not a problem for me, however. I notified staff, and I am confident it will be taken care of.

The location and breakfast were excellent. The meal in the restaurant was the best I have had in a long time, and much enjoyed by all. The rooms were comfortable.

Tea/coffee making facilities in our rooms would have been good. In one of the rooms the plug in the basin could not be removed and a bedside light kept flickering and was possibly unsafe.

Haus Duden is ideally located for WW2 history enthusiasts but also if you love walks. The hotel has an old-fashioned charm but is comfortable with a very friendly staff. We have had a nice week-end at this place.

There were no real negative points during our stay. Perhaps the lack of pastries at the Saturday morning breakfast.

Excellent breakfast included in the price. The beds were very comfortable. The main building looked great from the outside. Interior had seen better days.

Lovely area, surrender with stables and horses, very good breakfast, friendly atmosphere, big variety of vegan products for the breakfast ( our daughter is allergic to diary).

No air con in the rooms, bit far from city, main building require bit of renovation works.

This is my second stay at the Hotel Haus Duden. I stayed in Room 12. The entire hotel and its facilities are very charming. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend.
