the bedroom was comfortable and spacious. The facilities excellent. The hotel is in a quiet location. The staff were most friendly and generally attentive. Our meals were very good indeed so please tell the chef and the team in the kitchen. We will come again as it has been generally a very good experience.

The smell from the garbage bags under the balcony outside room 305 was unpleasant both in the bedroom at times and when relaxing on the balcony. When leaving the restaurant there were no staff available in order for us to sign for our meals then two staff came to our room just after 22:00 when we had already retired to bed and requested a signature for our meal. This was unnecessary as next morning at breakfast or at reception would have been more appropriate.

The staff were great (thanks Emma).Room was spacious, with great shower and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Was able to securely park my bike on the underground parking area. Close walk to Netto supermarket (in either direction). Was right on the Eurovelo 15 / Rheinradweg route.

The room I had was next to the main road, so noisy during the day if windows open (although quiet if closed). They could also have some sheer curtains to go with the blackout curtains for more privacy.

I came by bike and at the reception lady was vey helpful and had an efficient idea how to make my life easier with organizing my stuffs and the bike upon arrival. The staff was always very helpful and kind during my 2 nights stay. The bed was comfortable. I slept very well. I could lock my bike in the back side of parking area and when it was raining, I could also put my bike to a closed safe place. I really appreciated it.

I liked the atmosphere, location and friendliness of the receptionist. In the evening (it was Friday) there was a musician playing in the restaurant. I liked it. Restaurant was also nice and with reasonable prices.

Breakfast was not nice. There was not as wide variety of food (and tasty food) that I would have liked. The staff didn't speak good (or at all) English and were not very friendly. Coffee was terrible.

The hotel is centrally located, 200m walk to the main square and the staff were most welcoming. To the rear of the hotel is a private car park, allowing easy access to the hotel, which was ideal. The breakfast was comprehensive and our room was large, with a very comfortable bed. Would recommend.

This is a really beautiful hotel in a perfect location for exploring the town. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was super comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast but we did have a superb evening meal in the hotel’s onsite restaurant. Thank you to everyone for such a lovely stay.

This hotel was beautiful, with very polite and friendly staff, I've booked again for the same time next year, The restaurant the food well it was exceptional. I look forward to staying again 😃 😊

Historical, elegant hotel in Central part of town. Quiet and the front desk clerk was amazing! Friendly, helpful. Advised me on things to see and do while room was being cleaned. I arrived early. Safe place for my bike.

The room was great, the building and decorations were lovely. The restaurant and breakfast were really good. There was Netflix on the TV, so we could log into our own account.

The light switches were a bit confusing. You could not switch the lights out from bed. The TV reception had really bad interference, so we couldn’t watch TV. The heater needed to be vented, so it gurgled most of the time

I travelled by myself for the first time and found that I felt very safe and enjoyed my time at the hotel. Staff were very helpful and were happy to speak English with me.

I did find it a bit upsetting on one night when a group of travellers on my floor left the hotel at 4 am and they went along knocking on doors and being quite loud for 4 am.
