I chose this hotel based on the good reviews it has on Booking.com and I made an excellent choice. It is a very nice hotel, rated 2 star but it is actually 3 star plus. It is close to the city center (30-minute walk on a large boulevard) and it offers a delicious breakfast for 8 euros served in a very elegant lounge or you can enjoy it in your room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also an elevator. Our room was spacious and beautiful and it had anything you might need (toiletries, glasses, air conditioning, fridge, TV, radio, hair drier, a dressing table with a huge mirror and stool, several sockets and sufficient hangers in the wardrobe). The towels were changed every day and everything was very clean. I read that I should bring an anti-mosquito electric plug, I did and I was useful.

We really enjoyed our stay in Victory Inn Hotel. The area is safe for Athens (and this was a very important aspect to me) my daughter and I returned late several times and we did not have any problems. I would definitely come back again!

Beautiful double room, with balcony, contemporary decor,lots of mirrors. Good pressure shower, always had hot water. 24 hr room service eg different coffees, toast, soft and alcoholic drinks. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Spoke great English, thank you! Fridge in room. Immaculately clean hotel, located on a quiet road. 5-10 mins walk from VICTORIA metro station, recommend stick to main road if returning when dark. Different entrances/exits depending which way you’re travelling. Lots of shops, supermarket near metro station. 5 mins to a nice park, great for running. Breakfast made to order so you don’t have to book in advance, 6€. It consisted of: Hard boiled egg - cold Ham with cheese slice toastie - warm 2 mini sausage and tomatoes Orange juice, bread, butter, honey, jam, milk. I requested a Greek coffee with mine. My bad, I didn’t think to ask if there was meat with the breakfast. Breakfast area and reception also with very beautiful decor. Close to supermarket, shops and coffee shops. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel is well kept and very neat. Good value for money. They offer breakfast at an additional rate. No tea/ coffee facilities in the room. I can't fault the hotel. They had everything you needed from a hotel. The location is 800m from the nearest station, and it is not too much happening around the area. Supermarket a block away and a beautiful big park 2 blocks away. It is, however, away from the touristy location, so if you need to get away from it all, this is perfect and, like I said, good value for money. Friendly staff. Accommodated us when we needed to check in a bit earlier. I would recommend this hotel.

No tea coffee facilities making in the room. After a few days of walking to and from the hotel to train to go out, we wished we were closer to the touristy things. Even though it was close enough.

Located in central Athens, the hotel is walking distance from the National Archeological Museum and taxis are easily available. The staff is great and helpful. Room had a fridge. AC was fantastic.

The water (I do not know if this specific to this hotel or the location) in the bathroom smelled like swimming pool water (probably due to it being mixed with some cleansing agent) - for me the smell was a bit too much - specially when you flush the toilet. Also, no kettle in room.

I lived alone for 3 nights in the room with small balcony and it was really adorable and homely. The ensuite had most things you need, loads of clean towels and toiletries. The staff would clean the room everytime you head out, so it was always extremely clean. The location was super convenient- all you need to do is walk 8 mins to the metro station and get yourself a day pass then proceed to use it on any public transport you need. All sites on my itinerary were about a 20 min bus ride away from the inn and there was 2-3 bus stops all within 3 min walking distance of the inn. It is just off the city centre so you can see a bit of the local life in Athens but just close enough that everything is reachable by a quick bus ride. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and felt very safe in the locality. They put every effort to accomodate your needs- for eg The staff has a tie up with a laundry facility in town and I had all my clothes washes, dried and neatly folded in my room at the end of the day.

The room's AC could only be used for heating in the month of December which wasn't much of an issue as all I had to do was keep the window open. This worked in December, but might be something worth checking in summer months before you book. Except this minor thing, I had no issues with the stay.

Victory Inn was an amazing hotel to stay at. There is 24h staff service and everyone is so friendly and helpful. The staff can help you get around the city and give you suggestions on what to see. The hotel room itself was very clean and organized, and was a good size for 2 people. There was enough closet space. The bathroom was a little small, but that didn't matter. The location of the hotel is also convenient as it is only a 10 minute walk away from Victoria Metro Station. There is a little square about 600m away from the hotel where you can find cafés and restaurants and is perfect to grab lunch/dinner. If I ever go back to Athens, this is definitely where I am staying again!

I nice hotel with friendly staff. The WIFI was good and its not far from everything, I like to walk so everything was within reach. There is a large park nearby and of course not too far from a subway station. My room was very good, I had a small Balcony overlooking the street.

Bathroom a little dated and sufferered from mold damage on the ceiling , it was a tight squeeze to get into, it was a shower over a bath with a shower curtain waiting to wrap itself around you but it was still very functional. I had to leave the key at reception each time you go out but you get used to it. Walls are somewhat thin but not too bad - similar to other Athens hotels.

The hotel is spotless with a professional outlook. It's a great value for money option, provided that it's pretty affordable for a quite comfy room. Staff is extremely helpful, personable and polite, willing to accommodate any request. I've read on older reviews concerns over the neighborhood. I'm a former resident of that location and it's actually a great option. During the last 5 years Kipseli has became one of the coolest neighborhoods of Athens (check TimeOut magazine). It's a vivid place with a young people's pulse and an artistic atmosphere. The hotel is situated next to Agiou Georgiou square, which has become a must visit venue with many local eateries and a few LGBTQ+ friendly cafes/bars. In addition several theaters are situated around that part. During summer time you might also come across on some kind of outdoor events. Fokionos Negri street is also a 10 minute walk away. Visit to get a glance of the old Athenian bourgeoisie architecture and enjoy great local food. Patission Street is right next to the hotel. Countless city buses towards the heart of the center pass from that route. Those along with Victoria station which is a 14 min walk away and which provides entry to the subway network, offer plenty of transportation options for commuting. Worth to check the neighborhood out.

Wouldn't change something regarding the amenities. I was very pleased with my stay and the awesome stuff.

I was traveling alone to Athens and then leaving a couple of days later to meet with my husband. I was looking for a quiet, clean hotel to get over my jet lag before leaving the city. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable at the hotel. Additionally, my luggage did not arrive with me and the staff was helpful talking to the delivery service when my bags finally arrived at the airport the following evening. I didn't do much in terms of site seeing but the hotel was in a good location near lots of shops, small restaurants and a lovely park.

Very nice, large, clean room, super comfy bed, spotless bathroom. Very friendly staff. The location is great - near the public transport but on a small street that is generally quiet.

The sound insulation between the rooms could be better - I could hear everything from screaming children to people watching the World Cup on TV in the rooms next to mine. Also, there was a faint smell of cigarette smoke coming through the ventilation in the bathroom, so I guess someone was smoking on the premises. Although, this sounds very dramatic, I assure you this hotel is perfectly nice and I enjoyed my stay here.
