The staff were very welcoming and friendly, offered a great breakfast. Rooms clean and great view. Great location - easy walk to great beaches as well as Poros town. Kanali beach just 100 metres walk is perfect! Great facilities and really good restaurants on the beach. We loved the White Cat restaurant just 100 metres walk from the hotel- a truly superb location on the water with amazing friendly staff.

Great location, right on the waterfront and walking distance to the main port area. The room had a spacious balcony with a great view over the water. The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food served at the hotel was of great quality. Lots of comfortable sitting areas in the lobby and terrace.

The room and bathroom were small. The air conditioner unit was a little tired and took a long time to cool the room. There could be better lighting in the bathroom especially in the shower area.

The hotel is in a brilliant location - the view is just stunning! We travelled out of season so very few tourists and a lot of facilities were closed but that didn't matter as it's only a short 15 minute into the town where all the restaurants are. In fact it was nice that it was quiet and we had some great walks from the hotel in both directions along the coast. The staff are amazing - so helpful and friendly, we really appreciated that and also the lovely gift they kindly gave us when we left, we'd happily go back.

Hotel's common area (lobby and eating front sea view platform) are modern, elegant and tasteful. The single room is adequate in size for one person with new amenities and a big side sea view balcony. Theano, the owner of the family run hotel, is an excellent professional and a very polite young lady that is always looking after customer needs, trying her best in order to fulfill them. Overall this is a well run small hotel with excellent price to quality ratio.

Room size but ok for a short stay.

The woman Theano who runs the hotel is absolutely incredible. She offered me a late checkout until 2 PM without me even asking for it! She simultaneously works the reception and manages the restaurant, a superhero! Such a lovely person. Also, this hotel is grey value for your money, and the restaurant is great.

The shower pressure was not great and the temperature kept switching from hot to cold. I also didn’t really have much of a beach view from my balcony as advertised.

Hotel is very nice,cosy,has interesting interior,design with a lot of love.Family hotel with very polite,kindness and helpful staff.We have feeling like we are at home.Very good location,near the center and near the beach.Nice bar at the coast and very good food in restaurant.Nice evening in the bar with wonderful view on the Poros town.

My holidays at the Theano Hotel were one of the best hotel experiences ever. I enjoyed it so kuch that I extended my stay for one night. It is of course a matter of what you're looking for and what you expect. My expectations were surpassed on all levels. As others have noted, the hotel has an excellent taverna with sea view (sunset) where I spent much time reading with a Tsipouro after a late lunch. The room was nicer than it looked in the pictures, the owners are friendly and discreet. The nice little old town of Poros is also easily reached by foot. The better known beaches were not for me, as I prefer beaches without music. But the nearest beach was perfect: Kanali Beach with two nice restaurants is relaxing, has two good restaurants, is perfect for swimming and only a few 100 m away from the hotel. The single room on the first floor was excellent value. Great bed. Balcony. I'm pretty sure I will come back. Poros doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I didn't really miss it, but if I think about what might improve the experience, that would be a water kettle to prepare tea in the room.

Very warm welcome on arrival. All the staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and catered for all our needs. Taverna on the waterside was brilliant serving breakfast, sundowners and meals. Location was about 20min walk (taxi 5 min) from the centre and ferries. Beach nearby within 10 min walk with sunloungers and lovely restaurant. Would recommend it and would definitely stay there again as we had wonderful stay there 😎 😀

The staff were helpful and pleasant, the location was exceptional , we had a corner room at the front and the view was amazing. It was ideal for Kanali beach and a lovely walk into Poros port. We had breakfast over the road at their restaurant which had an excellent menu each morning. It was a very relaxing holiday and we'd recommend this hotel for a visit tp Poros.

Great location opposite the sea. We had a front view room big enough for 3 people. Poros town was a 5 minute drive. To get to beaches around the island u would need some form of transport. Breakfast is not inclusive but the hotels cafe has great selection at good prices. Best part about this property are the lovely people that run it. Amazing service and always with a smile!
