Poros is a truely stunning island and Nikis really beautiful accomodation in a fantastic location. We were travelling as a family of 4 - children of 8 and 11. Nikis is a 20 minute walk from the port but that allows it to have a beautiful pool which was quiet most days. It is right between 2 beaches with sunbeds, beach bars and great swimming spots. Hosts were fantastic- could not have been more attentive. The place is everything I could have hoped for from greek accomodation- modern but traditional at the same time. It is also very close to The White Cat, a fantastic restaurant right on the water and you pass a football pitch on the way to the port which our children enjoyed kicking a ball about at most evenings on the way home. It is exceptionally clean with sheets and towels changed every 2 day. Boat hire was available and fantastic.

Nothing- absolutely outstanding in every way

Lovely hotel in stunning location. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was lovely with a beautiful balcony overlooking the Island. The pool and the facilities were all lovely and clean.

There were a few things missing from the accommodation that would have made the stay more enjoyable. The TV channels are almost all in Greek. If we had known this we would have brought some playing cards for the evening. There was no toaster in the kitchen, handy when you want a quick breakfast or snack in the evening. Overall though this is a lovely Hotel with great Staff.

The pool was nice and good size. The location away from the city was nice but still close enough to walk 15 min or take a 3 min taxi ride for 3-5 euros. It’s a nice view of the city and the sea from the balcony. Nice to walk along the sea just outside the apartment. The kitchen was great to have. Good beds, quiet area at night. 5 min walk to the closest beach, you don’t need to book a sun bed you can stay on the side, it’s a small area but good. On the beach they have a toilet and you can buy drinks. Poros is a nice stop for a few days or more. It’s also a small grocery-store nearby 5 min walk. The big ferry speed boat goes from Hydra and Athens but not from Egina in October so we had to go from Egina to Hydra to Poros.

The staff and facilities were amazing. We were travelling with family who had children and the facilities were amazing for all our needs. The pool was a perfect touch to keep the kids happy in between sightseeing and beaches. There is also a great breakfast for great value. Also the food throughout the day was really good from what we tried but the kids loved everything. It is also quite quiet and relaxed at the same time. Easy to lay around the pool and relax. Cans can also be there within minutes and very cheap.

Although across from the sea there is no where to swim in front of the hotel. The nearest beach to swim at is about a 10-15 min walk.

The staff are the best friendly and extremely helpful, location close to port and restaurants, bike hire 20m from front door Pool with bar service and food available all day and at a reasonable price

Bed was a bit hard, but we really loved our stay so much so that we wanted to stay longer ! Sadly they we’re totally booked out so this was not possible.

Facilities at Nikis suited us. Rooms open onto gardens, balconies or terraces directly overlooking the sea, town across the water, and the hills of the mainland beyond. Very picturesque. Great pool area and gardens with bar terrace where breakfast (extra) was served. Throughout the day you could enjoy limited but tasty and generous portions of bar fare, cocktails, etc. Maria and staff at the bar made us feel welcome and 'at home'. Thanks Maria!! Located slightly out of town it is so very peaceful. Walking distance to two beaches with many further beaches located around coast if you have transport. Local taxis also drop off and pick up at beaches. Several very good waterside restaurants situated 3-7 min walk. 20 min stroll to the pleasantly busy town and port where you have a great selection of restaurants and bars with great food options. Due to large volume of yachts visiting there is an elevated service-offering in many of the seafront restaurants and bars. Prices vary accordingly but still good value for money. Nice level of busy. We found it safe to walk home even later at night. Nice adult crowd in Sept/Oct.

While beds were made up daily and sheets changed frequently it was unclear when towels would be changed. Showers are compact and partially open so bathroom floors get sopping wet. Despite this bathmats were not changed daily and only after I requested. Showerooms did not seem to be cleaned during stay. Toilets needed bleached and thoroughly cleaned before arrival. Kitchen area very dated so does not look pristine. Had to wash dishes and cutlery before using as they looked greasy. Sofa covers stained and did not look fresh. No insect screens on doors or windows so if you wanted fresh air beware of mosquitos. Despite these comments I still enjoyed my stay. Would be helpful if they clarify what room service to expect and what might be extra.

The hotel location is wonderful, not at the center of Poros town. But a short distance at near the sea. I was upgraded to a room with sea view. The view from the room was great, the room was large and had all the facilities needed for a long stay (I stayed one night so that was less relevant for me, but worth mentioning). The pool is great and the hotel's internal yard is very green with a lot of flowers. Very clean and comfortable room, including a large and comfortable bed and a nice balcony. I added breakfast – it was very good with a lot of hot and cold dishes to choose from.

I recommend to add mosquitoes' nests to the widows. There are a lot of them. The shower is built in a way that whenever taking a shower the bathroom is full with water.

We loved Poros. This was a lovely property with a nice pool and beautiful views over the port. Niki helped organise the ferries for us for Poros and Hydra and also a transfer from the Port. It’s about a 25 min walk from the port, with bags in the heat it’s tough so a taxi is necessary. There’s a quad rental company next door to the hotel. We would very much recommend renting a quad for 25€ a day and seeing the island. It was a highlight for us. It’s not busy on the roads so it’s pretty safe to do so.

Nothing with the property but there is a LOT of mosquitoes in Poros on the balcony of the hotel near the water etc. Bring DEET spray. I received over 60 bites one evening and had to go to the doctor in Athens for antibiotics and steroids so be warned, the mosquitoes are pretty bad in Poros. But the island is one of my favourites it was beautiful

The room was clean, large and very well equipped with a comfy bed. The staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough to help us. They suggested places to go, served us with a smile and even gave us temporary towels to use after we checked out but waited around the pool for our ferry. The pool area was large, the pool satisfyingly cool but not cold and the service for drink and tasty club sandwiches always with a smile. Couldn’t recommend Nikis Village more. Before our trip they even sorted out multiple ferry journeys out which made life much easier
