Location and cleanliness. The resort is very new (just opened last month). The staff were amazing & welcoming all the time. Special thanks to Danai, the Concierge Supervisor, who was very nice and helpful. She made our stay unforgettable from the first moment until we checked out.

Accessibility to the beach wasn’t from inside the property, you had to cross the street to go the beach. For us, this wasn’t clear on the website description

The hotel is in a great location, within a very short walking distance to the centre of Agios Nikolaos. The hotel facilities provide everything you could possibly need and everywhere is completely spotless! The pools in particular are of a good size with amazing views out to sea. The staff are very friendly and can't help enough. It was my boyfriend's birthday while we were staying at the hotel, and room service delivered a bottle of Prosecco and a cake as a gift, which was incredibly thoughtful and a lovely surprise for my boyfriend. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

My one and only comment would be the price of the food. It was so expensive that we only ate in the hotel once. It would also be good to have a cheaper, more casual menu available throughout the day for pool side snacks.

comfortable room, large and well designed. Great bathroom layout. huge bed and cute plunge pool. breakfast buffet was excellent and staff attentive and friendly. pool was great with a fabulous view and always able to get a sunbed. despite the hotel being on a main road, you wouldn't know it up at the pool where it was always peaceful and chilled. similarly though the hotel had many guests there was no noise in the room at all. also super peaceful and chilled. location is great. just on the edge of the part of town with loads of places to eat and grab a drink but not noisy at all. highly recommend a stay here.

the website is a bit misleading as I had though on booking that this was a beach hotel that was actually on the beach. also assumed there was parking. I almost cancelled the booking when I saw that the hotel was on a road and that the beach was a small inlet across the road and to the left of the hotel and that parking was 1.5k away. a bit of digging and reading reviews revealed that the parking was valet parking and so that was fine. I just hadn't enjoyed the thought of having to find the parking and drag the cases to the hotel after the flight! as there were plenty of sandy beaches near by and the pools were so lovely, the beach part was not an issue. also the town is pretty and has so many places to eat and drink and so the location turned out to be perfect!! glad I didn't cancel.

I stayed at InterContinental Crete lately and I can’t say enough good things about it. The service was excellent since the time of our arrival. The staff were very friendly, attentive to details and they did everything possible to make sure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The rooms were absolutely awesome— spacious, elegantly furnished and equipped with all modern facilities you may need. The bed was extremely comfortable while the view from our balcony was beautiful. One highlight of our stay was the rooftop pool and bar. The pool itself had clear water and gave a breath taking panoramic view of neighboring area. It was a perfect day relax spot as the bar offered a great range of drinks or light bites as well which made it even more interesting. All in all, InterContinental Crete surpassed my expectations entirely. This hotel is a must visit due to its great services, luxurious rooms and an amazing rooftop pool alike! I look forward for my next trip!

The Hotel is new. Its wellnotied that they tought of every littel detail The food is exellent, the hotel is soclean! and every one is so frienfly.

The Vallet parking can be a bit prolematic. One time we waited 2hours for the car and our plans for the morning was canclled. The elevators are very slaw and one of them is (allwas )didnt work. The spa is very! expensive, and they have limites hours for many/padi The Hamam in the Spa didnt work. There is no place neer the indoor pool to get water.

Absolutely, everything was perfect. The staff were topnotch and well trained. Room exceptionally comfortable and my favourite were the turndown service each evening with a bag of soothing tea. The location was perfect. Close to everything, yet not noisy. I fell in love with the Agios Nikolaos, the Creteans are sophisticated, and people I met were a great representation of their island. I will definitely come back

The Location is excellent - Just a 5 min stroll into Agios Nikolaos town centre and right by the water. The staff were exeptional. Magda at front desk was amazing for surprising me with an upgrade on my birthday. Manolis at the bar downstairs is a real gentleman whilst Jorge, Marios and many others were so kind during my 10 day stay. Being a new hotel the value for money is exceptional.

The pool on the 9th floor was a bit too quiet and could do with creating a bit more of an atmosphere - but the views - oh the views... :-)

Lots, really! Staff was superb, extremely polite and helpful! Hotel is brand new, with very good facilities and all rooms overlooking the sea! Breakfast is delicious, location is superb, restaurant is awesome!

In general housekeeping staff is very helpful and polite. They also attend the rooms twice a day. However, we would like to see a bit more meticulous cleaning of the room floor, but this was really not an issue, just a tiny nuisance.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful (ask for the printed menu). Check in with the concierge, she has great tips (take an afternoon to visit the nearby villages).

Pool menu was not great. Rear facing room had a view of trash cans. Small beach opposite the hotel with loungers reserved for a different hotel.
