El Greco Hotel

I was told that we may get a partial sea view so imagine my delight when our room offered a panoramic vista! It was lovely to have a cup of tea on the balcony using the kettle thoughtfully provided. The hotel felt luxurious, much higher than a 2* hotel.

The breakfast area was peaceful and attractive but as vegans we would have appreciated plant milk and perhaps one or two items that catered for our needs, like vegan butter. Having said that, the cooked green beans and courgettes were lovely though the tomatoes could have had a topping of vegan cheese rather than dairy. We appreciate that Crete is less of a vegan island than other places but with an international clientele it might be worth bearing in mind.

The staff was awesome, super friendly, helpful and nice! The location is brilliant: the rooms with seaview are highly recommended. The room was simple put spacious and very tidy.

Breakfast was really poor. Low quality food and no options for who's allergic to milk (any vegetal milk as an alternative should be mandatory, also because coffee was so bad that it was impossible to drink it without a split of milk in it). The bathroom had no window nor ventilation fan, eeew. The balcony was awesome but so sunny and hot: an umbrella or awning would have made it enjoyable also during the day.

A great location and quality for price. The breakfast was good and the overall stay was very nice. We had a lovely balcony with a sea view. We would book here again.

The elevator didn't work if someone on one of the floors left its doors open. It was an issue for us as we stayed on the top floor and traveled with a stroller. It was possible to fix if one of us went downstairs and closed the door, but it was still an unnecessary inconvenience

The staff, specially Lana, she was above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, she assisted us with whatever was needed and greeted us with a big smile always. She and also George were very friendly and approachable, definitely they and the location and views of the hotel were the highlights of our stay at the Greco hotel, highly recommended. We are looking forward to come back again! Thanks!

The Wifi was a bit slow at times but manageable.

1)Great location and wonderfull view from the balcony. 2)Rooms adequate, clean, very pleasant cleaning staff. 3)Young people working at the reception - nice and helpful . 4)We had booked one sea view room and one cheaper garden view room, and even there we still could see the sea from the balcony :)

1)Breakfasts were mediocre at best, distasteful at worst. 2)We had to leave half an hour before serving hours , and they couln't even offer us a cup of takeaway coffee (even though we had asked about it the older lady at the reception in advance, so not to surprise them) - it was not a big thing, and easily fixed, but when there is no will ....

I loved the location of the hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms and I extremely appreciated the receptionists kindness and helpfulness, always polite and kind!

I wouldn’t say that there is something that I didn’t like maybe a bit stronger internet connection however it’s such a minor thing that I could still work with and be really satisfied

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, excellent view from balcony. I was able to borrow a book from the small selection available in reception.

It would have been even better if the bar had been open, but I accept that it was end of season, so not economic to open.

For not wanting to stay in town, but very close, it was excellent. Very nice and helpful staff. I stayed at an upgraded room witch seemed very much worth it, since the normal room I saw, in the corner was not nice so nice.

Because of its wonderful location, on the tip of the bay, it was windy, and the doors slammed loud at night because of the wind. It should be easy to fix.

A had an amazing Sea-View room looking across to the KriKri Islands. The Hotel is perfectly located for easy walking distance to all restaurants on flat paved routes. The bath/shower were excellent and a fridge in my room was adequate for my needs. The air condition unit was brilliant as the temperature outside reached 40+c on some days. The restaurant facilities for breakfast were very good and there was plenty of choice (hot and cold) of food and drinks.

Everything was as I expected and I enjoyed everything about my stay. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful from Front Desk to cleaners to kitchen staff.

The location is just perfect at the Horn of Almathea in Agios Nikolaos. The staff was nice and gave us a free room upgrade to sea view room. It was cleaned every day and we had tea and coffee making facilities. Really close to center and to port and beach area. The hotel however is a bit outdated and has bad soundproof but we appreciated more the location and the fact that was clean and good value for the price we payed.
