The guesthouse is really well located. It's around 50' walking from the center of Kalambaka but it's quite near the start of Meteora circuit with a privileged view. Kostas was an excellent host, willing to share some inside tips and recommend us with the best itinerary to visit all the open monasteries. The food prepared by his mother was really good, I'll recommend it. It was also very welcomed after visiting the monasteries by foot. We didn't have any issue with our stay but it should be noted that because of the area the WiFi signal wasn't the best. It wasn't a problem for us as our phones were able to connect, but there was a warning signal in reception regarding the WiFi signal.

Nothing.

I would like to echo what almost all reviewers have said. Kostas is a very friendly host and provides a really good service. This family run guesthouse is incredibly well-maintained and exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The accommodation is really good value for money if you want a simple clean place to stay that has incredible views of the valley with olive trees which are owned by the family Arsenis. You need a car to reach the property, but the views from the balcony and the tranquility of the olive farm is worth it. You cannot find a quieter area in Meteora to stay, there are no neighbours and the property is tucked away from the busy streets. The location of the propery is always going to be the highlight of the stay which has breathtaking views of the valley. Waking up to such beauty every morning was indeed a treat. The peaceful ambiance of Guesthouse Arsenis was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The tranquility of the surroundings allowed us to unwind and recharge, making our stay all the more enjoyable. Guesthouse Arsenis is a place to unplug. This is not an accommodation if you wish to work remotely while you are still on holiday. It is a great place to take a break from the normal day to day activities of life and work and the internet and enjoy the beauty of Meteora. Overall, I highly recommend Guesthouse Arsenis to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming accommodation in the Meteora area. The combination of great views, a well-maintained property run by a small family and not an international conglomerate, and a peaceful surroundings made for a truly memorable stay. I would definitely return in the future.

This family guesthouse is incredibly well-maintained and exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view of the valley from the guesthouse. Waking up to such a stunning vista each morning was truly a treat. The proximity to the monasteries of Meteora was also a huge plus, making it easy for us to explore this unique and awe-inspiring area. The peaceful ambiance of Guesthouse Arsenis was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Beautiful views of Meteora cliffs and countryside. The location is extremely convenient for visiting the Meteora monasteries. My wife particularly liked that the host gave us ground floor room when he saw that she has a fairly severe limp. Dinner on our arrival night was basic but tasty at a fair price. The lobby had a comfortable lounge area. Breakfast was very good and filling.

Noise from the television (that no one seemed to be watching) in the lounge area during and after dinner interfered with conversation and was annoying.

Guesthouse Arsenis is set on a hillside overlooking a beautiful valley. Looking out over an olive grove from the balcony, watching sheep herd, listening to nature one can easily enjoy the idealistic qualities of this restful place. The accommodations are basic and spotless. The large gathering space allows for friends and family to enjoy time together for meals, games, or conversation. The Arsenis family offers exceptional hospitality. They have a wealth of knowledge about the area. And, each member of the family contributes to each guest in a unique way offering a wrap around of services that make a guest feel welcomed and as though they always belonged here.

Guesthouse Arsenis is a place to unplug. This is not an accommodation for working remotely. Give yourself a break from work and the internet and enjoy the other offerings of the area. Guests need a car, bike, or motorbike given the location.

The view from the hotel is beautiful, close to the meteoras of you are with a car.The staff is extremely friendly, you will feel welcome instantly. Kostas, the boss was extraordinary, told the whole history of the hotel and gave a quick introduction of the meteoras. We had long talks on the main balcony, drank some cold beers and had a nice conversation with Kostas and some of the guests. The ouzo is given out in big glasses, the frappe is amazing and everyone is welcoming. This place is perfect for a quick stay before visiting the meteoras! The rooms are nothing special, but perfect for their purpose. Will come back in the future, that is for sure.

Everything was Okay :)

This is an incredible location with an incredible view. A little on the outside of the town, it is ideally situated for quick access to the Meteora roadway. The isolation is perfect, as it means that you end up having a beautiful view on both sides of the valley. While we didn't stay for dinner, we had a delicious and copious breakfast. The owner is warm and pleasant - a true Greek host. He welcomed us with some Turkish Delight and bade us goodbye with home-made bread (baked by his mother!) and cold water bottles - truly generous. It may be an unconventional stay, but it's the right price in a beautiful spot with Old World charm. It's not for everyone, but I recommend that you stay a while.

Only small issues. The shower curtain was a bit small, so there a small quantity of water came out. The beds may be stiff for some, but I didn't find them an issue.

A very nice property located in a beautiful place. The host, Costas, is a very friendly person and tells interesting stories about Greece, its people, and the area. The rooms are equipped with a fridge, and there is a large terrace with a view of the mountains. Good breakfast. Good Greek dinner prepared on a charcoal grill.

The room was not very spacious for three people. The shower didn't have doors, only a curtain made of plastic. The beds had firm mattresses, but we noticed that it's the same everywhere in Greece.

Beautiful location with super friendly staff. The owner has a true passion for what he does and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! By far the easiest parking I found in all of Greece, and we stayed quite a few different places! They have a huge private parking lot that even a large RV can park in. Super convenient location for visiting Meteora by car! The kids even had a great time taking pictures over the valley, of the mountains at sunset, of the olive groves right outside the hotel, and the beautiful flowering trees in the garden (we visited mid-March).

I was lucky to find this hotel. This nearly 200-year-old family hotel, halfway up the hill, is far from the hustle and bustle of small town, however, the transportation is very convenient, less than a five-minute drive from the city. The early morning terrace overlooking the snowy mountains and the monastery of Meteola is an unparalleled experience. Beneath the room was a large olive grove in the owner's home. The hotel lobby has a TV and fireplace and the atmosphere is very nice. The owner, Kostas, lives here with his parents. They are very friendly. When I left, the owner's mother gave me some jam and dessert that she made by herself. I'll come back and I'll recommend my friends,
