The host from the reception was very kind and helpful. He guided us to a plethora of things to do in the region. The room was at the second floor, towards the sea. We enjoyed the sound of waves in the night, while not having troubles with noise from the nearby terraces and tavernas. The coffee in the room (Nesspresso) was good and at discretion every morning. The room was clean. All in all a good accommodation, with free parking space nearby (about 30 m from the location) and plenty of places to see and where to eat nearby.

The cleaning was good, except for the sink in the bathroom. The matrice, a bit too soft for our taste.

Great location, sea view, breakfast, staff and hospitality. Waking up with the sun and waves was a peaceful experience. Free car parking area near the hotel, all seaside restaurants, snack bars etc are nearby. Famous beaches are 20 to 60 mins away. Markets, bakery, city center are all walking distance. Bars (some nights live music) are not disturbing when you close the windows. Kissamos is a small seaside town (it was our first time), but we found everything we needed and also with good prices. We preferred local restaurants which the owners recommended. Breakfast served at the hotel was also great (for 7-10 €), also we had free welcome desert and drink.

Bathroom and shower is a bit small but this isn’t a problem for us. Hope to come again!

The room was lovely - traditional interior, very clean, views of the sea were breathtaking. There is a vast variety of nice restaurants nearby, those of traditional Cretan cuisine as well. The host Kostas was the best host we have ever had - incredibly considerite, kind and polite, he told us about the best beaches and places to visit nearby, even gave us a map with highlighted routes to those sightseeing spots. Overall - one of the best places to stay in the west of Crete.

These are amazing and super convenient apartments! Super near Kissamos center (5 mins walking) and you can reach the restaurants at the shore instantly. It’s also extremely easy to reach the main locations of the West of Crete (Balos, Falassarna, Elafonissi, etc). The staff is extremely friendly- communication on WhatsApp and real life is clear and easygoing. The rooms are SUPER clean, there was a housekeeper that visited daily and we loved the experience!

It’s hard to find anything that was “bad”, because on all our stay we had an amazing time! But we think the room’s bathrooms could use some love! The shower area is relatively small and the small plastic curtain make the bathroom super wet! It was hard to avoid a lot of water getting onto the floor!

We want to thank you very much for your availability and friendliness that you have shown us, we have also greatly appreciated your advice which has been very useful to us, tonight we ate very well in the restaurant you suggested. The location of your b&b is really excellent for reaching the most beautiful beaches of Crete, in a short time we were able to see the lagoon of Balos and Falassarna. Charming places. only the shower needs to be improved

Up to date very clean with traditional furnishing which enhanced Creatan stay. Communications prior to arrival very efficiently confirmed our late arrival and Mr. Kostas warmly welcomed us upon our arrival. He was very helpful, efficient and professional. Room in front had large balcony with full view of waterfront. The balcony has its own clothesline and has clothes pins for guest use. The bathroom has been updated tastefully, very good water pressure, with nice linens and products. Good internet. Breakfast includes traditional creatan, great coffee, with professional warm hostesses. Met other guests who have been returning to Argo for over a decade!

No elevator but assistance was graciously provided for haulup of luggage. Historical properties cannot be expected to include elevators.

We stayed in a lovely large room with a huge deck looking out to the sea. The room was nicely updated and pleasantly furnished. We particularly liked the comfortable sitting area. The location is wonderful being right on the water with numerous restaurants beside it. This property is a 10 except for the very small shower.

The shower is very small with an open side...very difficult to shower without making a mess. However Booking.com doesn't show negative comments so why write any?

We were there in September. Perfect weather, fewer tourists, this is the perfect time to visit Crete. We started our adventure in Kissamos. "Argo Rooms Papadakis" is ideally located. Whenever we came back, we would sit on the balcony and end our day. Wonderful morning - amazing sea view. You could meet Mrs. Elenia on the ground floor. She is a very nice woman, always smiling, and she was helpful. There was a parking space right next to our accommodation. The room was cleaned every day, air-conditioning is trouble-free, perfect contact with the owner. We showed up very late (we had a delayed flight) and there was no problem with that. The keys were waiting for us along with the instructions. Thank you for an excellent stay and warm greetings from Poland.

Everything was perfect

The staff is lovely! I was received with a cake and he gave me a lot of recommendations on what to do in the island. He even printed the places and a map in Spanish (my mother tongue). The location is perfect with sea view and directly in the promenade but in a part that is not that loud. Nothing to complain for the price!

Maybe the only thing that could be improved is the size of the shower. It's really small. Other than the shower size, the bathroom was nice and clean, enough hot water :)

We spent one week at Argo Rooms in Kissamos During the mounth of august. The host is very kind and gave us a lot of usefull suggestions about the best beachs and restaurants. The structure is very clean and has a fantastic position along the sea coast. The view on the sea is relaxing and amazing. We raccomand this apartment if you want to spend some days in the west area of Crete.
