The hotel's location is unbeatable, directly on a beautiful long sandy beach. While on a walking distance from Malia where many shops and bars are found, it is far away from the noise of the town. Our bungalow was relatively newly renovated, clean with very good air conditioning. At night, we loved lying on the sunbed of our private terrace enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Beach and pool are well furnished and very enjoyable. Both breakfast and dinner buffets offered a great variety of Greek and international cuisine. The food at the lunch restaurant near the sea was delicious with a local flair. We always had a table with a sea view. The greatest advantage of this complex is the space! We never felt like the place was crowded despite the hotel was full. Particularly praiseworthy is the staff. Very friendly and efficient! Great value for money, strongly recommended!

The only thing to complain about is that we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer!

We have had a fantastic stay in Kernos Beach. We had the chance to get an upgrade in a bungalow at the seafront and it was wonderful. Of course it was still very calme this time of the year. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast and diner with variation of food. Nice private beach shared with 1 other hotel. Staff do everything to give you a comfortable stay! Insects - but that you have everywhere.

The location is as amazing as it looks. The view from the front beach bungalow is great and definitely worth it. Beach and pool are well furnished and very enjoyable. There is enough space for everyone and we never felt like the place was crowded despite the hotel being fully booked Staff is nice and accomodating overall.

Wifi is unstable. Food is good (we were half board) but there is room for improvement compared with hotels in the same price range. There is very little information provided to you in the room on how the hotels works, make sure you ask the staff to know how things work. Outside of the hotel, Malia provides good meal options and accomodations for tourists (bar, car rentals etc...) but nothing else.

A spacious and spread hotel in a huge area, wonderful staff, welcoming and with a high awareness of service. Smiling all the time and taking care of everything. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Great shower and everything is close to the sea. Right in front of the sea. Great atmosphere of freedom and rest in Greece.

The hotel is a bit far from all the activities both in Malia and from beaches and other active resorts. There was a mirror and a kettle missing in the room. Small and uncomfortable sink.

Staff was helpful.

Beds were not comfortable, the linens were very thin and the blankets should be thrown away. They were old and awful looking. The room was very dated with a lot of switches on the walls that no longer work. The rooms was not cleaned well. There were cobwebs on the table and lights, the curtains were old and torn, the chair in the room was old and the furniture outside on the balcony needs to be cleaned and replaced. There was no place to hang your towels in the bathroom and no shelf for your shower essentials. Rooms did not have a good smell. There were no daily activities at the resort so it was very boring for us. The food was okay but set up like a banquet every day. And the dining chairs were very uncomfortable with no cushions!!!!

We enjoyed the fantastic view from the breakfast table. The beach was incredible: the water was so clear & clean! The kiddy pools were the best bit. Generally quiet and a very generous size. Our room was a decent size and recently updated. Walking distance to other restaurants in the area.

It all felt very budget all-inclusive type of holiday, though that’s not what we signed up for. The staff started every interaction in German and were annoyed when they had to speak English. On our first morning, there was a queue to get a seat for the breakfast tables! We’ve never experienced anything like it. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. They were continuously running out of food. The coffee wasn’t drinkable and they seemed overwhelmed by the request for a cup of tea. To add to the feel of a budget holiday, the classic method of “booking” a sun chair by putting one’s towel on it at 6am in the morning resulted in there being basically no sun chairs left after breakfast. Our room was supposed to be ocean-view (we paid extra for it) but this was an ocean-view over the top of the other hotel buildings in front of our terrace. It all felt very cheap and I would have been happy with it if we paid half the price. All in all, we will not return.
