This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations; since it was relatively inexpensive (for Mykonos) and rated 1-star, I wasn't expecting much, so I was very pleasantly surprised to get nice amenities like a pod coffee maker, kettle, fridge, slippers, bottled water, and cute balcony. The shower was especially good, and the air conditioning worked well. The whole hotel was perfectly clean and in a great location close to the bus station and convenient to everything in Mykonos town. It was also quiet at night, since it wasn't near any loud restaurants or bars. Highly recommended.

The size of the room was quite small and the beds were a bit hard, but overall this place is wonderful value for the money.

We had a warm welcome from Mrs. Maria, in a fully renovated spacious room with the smell of freshness, separate toilet, refrigerator, full equipment for making coffee and tea, in a very quiet area. At the same time walking distance from Fabrica bus station, little Venice, wind mills, restaurants, shops. Many thanks for the kindness of Mrs. Maria for letting us use the room until we were leaving for the airport. Definitely value for money in a superior room, the hospitality from Mrs Maria will definitely make us choose Galini again for our stay in Mykonos.

Center of neighborhood...winding walkway to visit beach, windmills, little Venice and lots of restaurants...nextdoor neighbor Maria was so nice, one morning she made me breakfast!!! Of course my host was great also, her and her daughter checked me in at 9:45 pm...I missed earlier ferry... Enjoyed the off season...quite, peaceful and relaxing and great value!

Being off season, the ferry to Santorini stopped one week before I arrived. At first I was told I had to take ferry back to Athens and fly to Santorini...$400++ I inquired about island hopping...solution was take ferry to Syros and sleep over, leaving 900am next morning...total cost<$100...problem solved! The shower was small, but functional.

Our stay here was very good. The location is perfect, it’s only 2 min walk from bus stop (which we super recommend as a way to get around Mykonos), close to a lot of stores, restaurants and bars. But it still on a quieter area than the main streets. The owner is super friendly, the place as very very very clean and we got clean towels every morning. The room room was cleaned every morning too. They provide shower gel, which is very good and olive oil based. The room is small but very cute.

The bathroom is extremely small, the toilet and the shower part. It was very hard to take a shower without getting the bathroom all wet. The shower head could not be placed on the holder, because it was too high and would literally point the water straight outside of shower area (solution was to turn it off and place it on the floor while washing myself) The pillows were very high and not very comfortable.

Galini Hotel is a quaint, cozy, clean hotel, situated very close to Fabrika bus station, which was extremely convenient, since we used the buses to/from the airport (10-minute ride) and all the beaches on the southern shore of the island (15-20 minutes rides, depending on the beach).

I understand that Mykonos is a trendy, “night-life active” island, so I expected music from bar and restaurants to resonate through the entire Mykonos town till late at night… I didn’t expect to hear the neighbors’ radio or TV set from my bed for few hours past midnight… I wished I could open the French doors to the balcony and enjoy the fresh air, instead of turning ON the AC unit, but the noise would have kept us awake…

The location is very near the bus station, only few steps away, actually and in the middle of the city center, so everything was at a few steps away. Also, it is a short walk to some of the local attractions, such as the Windmills, Little Venice and Church of Paraportiani. The room was nicer than the photos, the lady at the reception was very nice to accomodate us at a very late hour. We did only stay for one night, so we only needed to have everything nearby and to have agood night sleep.

We did receive another room that the one we had reserved, but given the fact that we only stayed for one night, it wasn't such a big deal and the room was nicer than the other one, only it was situated on the plain floor and no terrace. So, equitable change. A little bit hard to find with all the alleys going on, but that's a Mykonos thing :)

Wow what a location! just approaching the edge of the old-town, you get to be right in the area with the white houses and the stone streets, but not so much in the middle that tourists and shops are everywhere you look. Also, judging by the prices of Mykonos, I'd say the value here might be as good as it gets - surely would recommend.

Washroom (shower/toilet) was a bit small, but we were given an option by the proprietor between a room with the small washroom and a balcony, or a bigger washroom without (if I recall that correctly). Not a reason to say no, but fair warning for anyone that needs some space.

We had the superior room which was immaculately clean and it looked like it had been newly restored. It had GB/EU/USB sockets next to the beds, excellent aircon, mood lighting, a fridge and a nespresso machine and kettle. Really comfy bed and a lovely balcony to enjoy a glass of wine. Maria on reception was so friendly and helpful. Probably the best value you’ll find in Mykonos and a great location.

The view from the balcony was of some waste ground with graffiti but this is not the hotels fault and is reflected in the price.

Awesome location ! Just in the city center but in a calm street so you don't have all the noise. The hotel is very clean, the personnel was very reactive and attentionate 3 min walk from the Fabrika bus stop (direct line to the port and airport) so very useful We stayed there for only one night in transition but it was just what we needed !

The bathroom is very small - but it was enough for a 1 night stay. Consider maybe a bigger room if you are staying longer for confort

This place is amazing! A hidden gem!! We got a free room upgrade, even without asking. The room was located on the 2nd floor, huge, with a heavenly super comfortable mattress, extremely clean, beautifully decorated with attention to every detail! fantastic bathroom with a huge, fantastic shower! A cute balcony where to have a relaxing morning coffee. Super quiet yet in the heart of town, a few steps from everything! A coffee shop near by Yummy provides a great breakfast option. Maria is the best host you can dream of. Gives you great information, excellent tips, genuinely caring for her guests to have a superb stay!
