I enjoyed my three weeks stay here. Easy access to the buses going to the port and metro station. A walking distance from pasalimani; an area with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. Comfy stay and rooms are cleaned everyday. The receptionists are very welcoming and supportive. There are a lot of coffee shops around the hotel. It would be nice as well to have a Nespresso machine in the rooms or at least one in the lobby for free use. Coffee capsules to be on the guests. There are restaurants around the hotel. One of my best stays in Piraeus. I will definitely stay here again.

Friendliness of staff, generous size of room, relatively quiet with windows closed at night, also no major noise from within the hotel, despite being on first floor opposite the elevator. Location felt safe even late in the night, while port and main tourist restaurant/shopping area are in walking distance.

Storing the luggage for the day in the lobby visible and accessible to everyone felt a bit "too relaxed", so I wouldn't have left expensive equipment etc. there. However, it was in view of the reception desk which was usually occupied. So, all was good, nothing disappeared :)

Hotel reception was very helpful and supportive. They always welcome you with a smile. The hotel is near restaurants and easy access to Pasilimani. It located near the port and 1 min walk to the nearest bus station. There is a breakfast but I did not try it. The room is cleaned everyday. Many reviews speak about the loud music of the near discos but with the window closed it did not bother me. It actually acted as a background noise and helped me to sleep. I hate calm nights specially when travelling solo 😅. And while working I open the window and enjoy the music. The music was a plus for me actually. Definitely one of my best stays in Piraeus and I will be looking for it first whenever I am going Piraeus.

The Filon Hotel is a no frills accommodation which is perfect for a short stay if you need to catch a ferry or cruise from the Port of Piraeus. Piraeus is also a city in it's own right and deserves some exploration. Especially if you go down to the Zea Marina which is around a 10 minute walk. There are plenty of shops close by and restaurants and bars, coffee shops, etc. The staff are very nice here and always have a great conversation with the guests.

Very well located. The staff is lovely, very polite and more than willing to help. Looked better than in the picture. Also the neighbourhood looks more shady from Google Maps live views, is worth updating new look of the street. Yes, there is a club nearby that is open day and night apparently, but we didn't hear any loud music also because we stayed only 1 night. I would recommend it and deffo come back for short stays.

The room was nice and spacious. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Staff were very nice and they had 24hr check in which is good as we arrived around 1:00am. Lots of restaurants nearby and is about at 15min walk from the ferry ports and metro station. They also offered a cheap continental buffet option.

The continental buffet didn’t have too much variety but to be expected at only 5€ per person.

The staff was amazing! They were attentive, kind and helpful. I appreciated their positive energy after a long day of travel. The hotel was walking distance from the port. Plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The room was basic and clean.

It was on a busy street and it was loud and there was some kind of construction going on starting very early in the morning.

Wonderful Taxi driver (pick up from airport) - charming welcome at reception , very helpful! And cutest restaurant just up the road , wee white restaurant with live band playing and delicious fresh food on menu (the chef was able to cater for gluten free no problems!) And then just a couple of minutes wander down to our sea jet ferry in the morning. Perfect start to our holiday. Thankyou filon

We’ve used Filon Hotel several times on this trip before or after ferry journey as it is very conveniently located for the ferry port ( very close to gate E9 from which Seajets ferries to the Cyclades depart). We found it an excellent option for that purpose: simple, clean and practical rooms. Moreover the personnel at the reception is super friendly and helpful.

Everything was very good, we had a pleasant and comfort stay. Cheers to the friendly and helpful hotel stuff !!!

Sometimes the annoying loud music / noise from the nearby shops not stop until the early morning. Of course you can not blame the hotel for this, eveything in the hotel was good.
