As a business traveler from North America, I put a lot of emphasis on convenience, value and the overall guest experience. I am quite comfortable to report Savoy Hotel in Piraeus exceeded my expectations. The most important points for me were the ample private parking and warm greeting at the front desk. Before even entering my room (quite big actually), the guest experience was friendly, inviting and positive. The dinner menu was reasonably priced, delicious food (I had the Black Angus Steak!) and the main bar/lobby reminded of a downtown Toronto hot-spot. It appears some renovations transpired which has spruced up the property. Great job! Will come back again - no hesitation.

I cannot say there was anything that I did not like. A very positive experience and a great location. A short walk to a bustling pier complete with beautiful boats, small bars and nice restaurants. Great stuff all around!!

The staff was awesome and very helpful. The location was perfect for leaving on a cruise the following day. The room was just the right size and the breakfast was an added benefit.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Piraeus. Within a 10 minute walking distance you can visit attractions and find plenty of nice shops, bars & restaurants. The room was spacious with high speed wireless connection, and cleaned on a daily basis to the nearest detail. Lastly, the cuisine has both traditional and international options!

nothing…everything was excellent

This was the perfect location for the cruise we were going on. The port was just a few blocks away. Was an easy walk to go look at the bay the night before the cruise. We took a taxi since we had a few luggage. It was only $5. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Theadora upgraded our room to a top corner 2-bedroom suite with wrap around balcony and got us in early. Was great views and we sat outside and had beers which Penos brought up to us each time we called. (Don't lose this guy!!) Was so nice to relax after a 20 hour travel day. Magda was awesome in the bar and restaurant. She took very good care of us and was really informative about the area. I haven't had such an awesome experience like this in a long time. These people really care and like what they do!! Keep up the awesome job!!! Will definitely be staying again when I am there in a couple of months. 10 out of 5 Stars!!!

I appreciated the cleanliness and the renovations they’ve done to the hotel, as well as, my spacious bathroom and high ceilings room. The staff was polite , helpful and very professional as always. Also both the buffet and the restaurant menu were of really high quality and pretty affordable, definitely worth trying, the same applies to the bar.

The breakfast was fine. it offered a something for everyone\. It was the ideal location prior to our cruise. We were able to walk around the waterfront and marina. We had lunch down by the waterfront. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel. The Savoy staff was excellent. They had a restaurant, a small bar, plenty of lounging area. I would recommend staying here prior to any cruise out of Athens. I would stay here again. Thank you!

Nice, large lobby with a small lift and breakfast area. Parking spots just behind the hotel. Great location to catch the ferry. Staff gave us a map and offered things to visit nearby and stored luggage after checking out.

We were on floor 7 and our key did not allow entry so I had to go back down to get the key activated. The room was very hot when we arrived and the bathroom had no ac. The bathroom window had no screen so when opened for air and to vent steam from showering, lots of little bugs flew inside.

I have been coming to this hotel over many years This place is back on track. The service was exceptional, excellent old fashioned service with a smile and it always felt genuine. The breakfasts were great and the changes made to the foyer mean you have a place to chill in the Athenian heat. I am so pleased this place is back and it’s made my visits to Athens all the more pleasurable. The real surprise was the Piraeus Museum just around the corner, some of the best bronze statuary I have seen.
