- Location was beautiful, with the hotel directly in front of the beach. Nice pool and nice beds (at the pool and at the beach). - The staff was exceptional, very friendly and professional. Special mention for the waiters of the restaurant and the bar! - Good food at the restaurant and good breakfast as well. - The bed was soooo comfortable and in general, it was calm, we could sleep very well which is rare in some hotels.

- They organized some concerts that lasted a bit too long during the evening but that’s all we can say!

We had a great experience in Iperion Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfasts were rich and included a variety of options. The beach was not crowded and we were able to find beach chairs with an umbrella whenever we go there. The sea was excellent. It is just 6 euros by taxi (5 minutes) or 30 minutes walk to the city center, location was great. They never had noisy music or animations so it was very relaxing.

- The mattress could be firmer. - We had some issues with the internet connection but staff so helpful and solved the problem immediately.

In my opinion Iperion Beach Hotel is the best option to rest near Rethymno! First of all is just on the beach - you can walk from your room to the sea without crossing a street. Secondly, just about 100m the Rethymno Promenade "Ari Velouchioti" starts, so you can have a very nice 40 min walk to Rethymno in the evening (or take a taxi for 5EUR, but the walk on the seaside is so nice!). The breakfasts are very good (although I prefer ground coffee...). The bar serves excellent salads and snacks (also pasta, souvlaki, tzatziki, gyros, moussaka), drinks, smoothies, etc. nearby there are two excellent restaurants (Vatania and Eirini). Everything was kept very clean (not only against COVID). Staff is very helpful and friendly. And the beach is great, with sand, waves, sun and turtles (we were in September and we have seen sea turtles hatching from their nest!). And last but not least: fast WiFi covers the hotel and the sunbeds on the beach!

The room is spacious and has a kitchenette with all the necessary equipment (hob, kettle, coffee maker). Two coffee capsules are added every day. When we arrived, we were greeted with orange juice at reception. Fresh fruit was served in the room. The terrace is very spacious. The pool is fantastic !!! We have not had such a room with a private pool yet. The feeling is unreal !!! From the pool you can see the beach, the sea, the palm tree. Heaven in Earth :) The car park is very spacious. We arrived late in the evening. Since the restaurant is open until midnight, we went for a meal. The food is awesome, the prices are normal. Tasty coffee. Very nice staff. We recommend pancakes with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. You will lick your fingers. The tables stand right next to the beach sand. In the evenings, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset while sitting in the restaurant. The restaurant is visited by a lady dog ​​named Lisa. She has hosts who live nearby. But she loves the company of hotel visitors and is happy to visit here. Breakfast is plentiful. Lots of fruit, desserts. Freshly squeezed orange juice. When choosing food, you need to wear a mask and gloves - this provides great safety for Covid. The beach is quiet, you can relax. Sun loungers are available free of charge on the beach. The hotel provides beach towels. Gazebo costs for two people 20 euros a day. The price includes a bottle of mineral water and a fruit salad. We recommend it for a day's rest. The sea is wavy. In the early days it was heavily wave, bathing was only allowed along the shore. The other days the sea was calm, but even then the water was easily rippling. The small waves make you feel really at sea.

We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the hotel’s new rooms. The room was lovely - modern, clean, and well equipped. The hotel pool setting overlooking the beach is glorious, we loved spending time relaxing on the lounges. The location suited us well, with restaurants easy walking distance nearby, or the option of a ~50min walk or 6 euro taxi into the old town for a change of scenery and some more variety in options. We also found the majority of the staff very warm and helpful!

The shower screen was not quite long enough, so the bathroom floor got very wet when showering. The pool temperature was very refreshing. But these are very minor - we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful beach resort with a great breakfast. A bonus having the beach on your doorstep. 15-20 min walk along the beach with really nice restaurants nearby. We stayed here on our anniversary and they went above and beyond for us.

A small issue but half the sun-beds didn’t have any parasols or cover so they were often empty. There are plenty of beach sun-beds but if you want to sit by the pool then there’s only a handful of beds with parasols.

The hotel is a very nice, clean and quite place to stay. The room was very confortable and clean. The breakfast with a variety of choises. Maybe except the cofee that was not so good because of the old coffe machine. The beach is private with veeery confortable chaise longue. The seaview from the balcony was beatiful!!!! The personnel was very kind and polite.

Nothing to mention.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable. We loved our sea view from the rooms, pool and appreciated the fact that it was really close to the beach and never crowded or noisy. Whole our family also loved the breakfast! There was big variety of food with slight changes every day, so we could taste something a bit different each time. Also stuff was always helpful whenever it was needed - especially receptionist Eirini - always with kind smile on her face, ready to fulfill any request :-)

Writing only to confirm that this is an exceptional hotel. Exceptional for location, maintenance, services in the hotel itself and around it. Everything below (August 16, 2001) was carefully written by my compatriot Dalius, is true. My suggestion is to choose a room with a private pool or a superior double studio with sea view. Then, as also wrote one of the reviewers, you practically will live on the beach; and the hotel restaurant will be on the left less than 10 meters away, the nearest shop (and there are plenty of them) - around the corner 100 meters away.
