A big thank you to Liana and Zania in customer relations and all the team for a wonderful two weeks at the Nautlilux Rethymno. Our holiday coincided with our 56th wedding anniversary and they made everything perfect, even an anniversary cake, which was a lovely surprise and so much appreciated. Before choosing Nautilux we read testimonials about the exceptional standard of service and It exceeded our expectations. Everyone from reception to maids, waiters, bar staff and parking attendants were so helpful and friendly. They made us feel really special. Our room was comfortable and spacious with every facility, including a jacuzzi and beautiful sea-view balcony. Breakfasts and dinners were superb with a wide selection of dishes for every palette, including some delicious local specialties. If we needed explanations service captain Anna was always on hand to give assistance. Nautilux is perfectly located with its own private beach to supplement its two pools. Rethymno old town and harbour is a 3km walk or 7-euro taxi ride, providing shops and bars or a romantic meal at one of the harbourside tavernas overlooked by the ancient Venetian lighthouse. We recommend Taverna Knossos, run by the same family since 1936. (Maria is a welcoming host.) One of the best hotels in Crete, without a doubt.

It seems churlish to mention such a small issue, but some extra drawer space in the room would be good. Maybe we took too many clothes!

The hotel staff were really helpful and super nice. The hotel looked great once you get inside,it was beautiful and modern and had great facilities.we got welcome drinks on arrival and the hotel got me a lovely cake for my birthday which was so nice of them. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Before getting to the hotel we were worried because the street leading up the hotel was really run down.but when we got to the hotel it was lovely. we have issues with the heating system in the room for the first 2 nights, it was way too hot and we called reception to have someone come fix it but the person they sent initially couldn’t fix it so we were sleeping in a extremely hot room for 2 night because the heating and cooling system wasn’t working. Also for the first 2 night they didn’t have the right number of towels and robes for the number of people the room was booked for so they attention to detail wasn’t the best in regards to that but everything else was great, we all got great massages in the spa.

We loved everything

The only thing that really bothered me was that the water was frozen, we took a room with a pool, we didn't enter it once, it was simply impossible, the hotel's large pools also had frozen water, we almost couldn't get in there either.

For our honeymoon, we went for the maisonette and will not be downgrading next time we stay. It was absolutely phenomenal. Valet parking was included, great coffee maker in the room, a hot tub on our balcony, exceptional beach chairs, and a breakfast buffet to feed royalty. We loved every minute of our stay and even bought bottles of the bodywash/shampoo because it was so nice.

There was nothing about our stay that we were unhappy with. Everything was top-notch. The nespresso machine in the room even had Starbucks brand pods. This may not seem like a big deal, but when it comes to cutting costs in hospitality, the amenities are usually the first to take a hit. Sticking with high-quality soaps, coffees, and linens kept the experience above expectations. We are 100% satisfied customers.

The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was with my girlfriend for a week in the hotel and could enjoy every day. The rooms are very clean. The drinks at the bar are also highly recommended. Not like in other hotels, you can always find a free lounger either by the pool or by the sea. We had one week all inclusive and the snacks were very good and varied. We thank the whole team for this week and are already planning our next vacation at Nautilux.

Unfortunately, from time to time we were not quite clear what program was scheduled at the hotel. We noticed that every evening there was a different theme in the restaurant, such as Mediterranean or seafood. There were also singers who were scheduled in the evening but unfortunately we could not see any information about them. I would appreciate it if there was a daily or weekly overview of the restaurant and entertainment program.

The hotel is new. Nice atmosphere and elegant design. Very quiet location at night. 5 euro by Taxy to the old town of Rethymno ( lots of shops & restaurants) or 35 min walk. . The hotel has its own very nice beach. We were very happy and think that it is the best hotel in Rethymno. Everything was perfect.

Everything was amazing - the staff, the quality of the food and the standard of accommodation were the major highlights for me & my husband. The staff were so eager to help and make sure we had a great time, and nothing was too much trouble. The sunbeds on the beach were really comfortable and it was awesome you could get drinks & food brought to you by the lovely staff on the beach all day. The rooms are brand new, decorated to a very high standard and the beds are super comfy. We had a sea view room which we would highly recommend. We paid for the all inclusive package which seemed good value for money, especially given the high quality drinks on offer (beers, cocktails, wine) and food throughout the day.

- The staff was friendly, warm, eager to help from start to finish. It was, funnily enough, one of the best things about the hotel (and there are many great things!) - The room is comfortable and modern, the air conditioner works great, the amenities are of good quality and smelled amazing. - We got full board and it was worth every Euro! Breakfast and dinner buffet is varied and the quality of the ingredients is high. They have a great selection of Greek dishes too, which we liked. The menu between breakfast and dinner is also varied, and you can order your food and eat it in the beach or the tanning beds in the swimming pool area. - Nice area with the beautiful city of Rethymno nearby. We LOVED the city and how well connected it was to the hotel. - Free parking. Staff parked it for us every day.

- For some reason the food served after dinner and until midnight was not very good. - Dinner buffet closes too early for our taste (9:30pm). - We were told we could use the indoor swimming pool area but we got kicked out saying it was not free. It was confusing and it was definitely a bitter experience, especially in the way we were told. It made us not get a treatment we were planning on getting.

There are so many things about this hotel that are exceptional, but first and most of all are the people who work there. Such kindness, patience and catering is deserving of more than a 10. And this grade is because of them. Especially I would like to mention Liana who has done everything and beyond to make it a great stay for us. Furthermore, this hotel's location is perfect if you want to have a great relaxing get-away vacation. It connects straight onto a beach and is a short taxi ride to Rethymno core town, or you can have a 30minute stroll down the strand (all the way along the beach). As we expected from Greek cuisine, the food was fantastic, but what made it better was all the options we had during breakfast and dinner time - ranging from savory, both for meat lovers and vegans to sweet (those strawberry tarts were insanely good) a lot of variation every day. We were there for 10 days and never got bored with the food (actually gained some nice sea-vacation weight :D ) The hotel has a modern design, which might for some things be limiting, but it s nothing that the hotel's staff cannot take care for you, so you can have the best holiday stay! The catering is professional and amazing, from the hotel area to the double pool area and straight down to the beach. You can lie down comfortably in sunbeds, get your cocktails served directly to you and enjoy the sun and seaairwithout moving a finger, and have your perfectly deserved lazy vacation. Speaking of Sun, Rhetymno must have some of the most beautiful sunsets in the world - don't miss out on sitting at the beach in the evening, with a glass of vine at your side and enjoy the sun setting in. Even though the hotel itself is some way from both of the airports - hotel can organize a pick up/drop off ride for you or it is easy as well to book a taxi online with many respectible services.

Liana knows ;) Thank you once again, I am sure you know you've done everything marvellously ;)

Our experience with this hotel was exceptional. From the moment we walked into the lobby, the modern design, refreshing scent, and vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted in our room with a spread of raki, nuts, and dried fruits, which was a lovely welcome. The personal attention from the staff truly stood out. They remembered my spouse’s mother’s dietary requirements, and one morning when she didn’t come to breakfast, they checked in to ensure she was all right. On the last day a personalized note was left in our room inviting us to share our thoughts on our stay. All these made us feel genuinely cared for. Valet parking was efficient and always friendly, and housekeeping was both kind and meticulous, keeping our room immaculate throughout our stay. The staff, in general, were approachable, and we had several casual conversations with them. Great people! The hotel’s location was perfect—peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, yet close enough to explore. The garden was beautifully maintained, with plenty of sunbeds by the pool and on the beach, which was ideal for relaxing. We had half-board, and the food was of excellent quality, with each meal fresh and flavorful. Evening entertainment was enjoyable, adding a nice touch to our experience. Special mention goes to the pool bar’s whiskey sour—it was absolutely sensational! The hotel’s size was just right. Big enough to offer all the amenities you’d expect from a luxury stay but not overcrowded. We also appreciated that they honored our request to have rooms close to my partner’s parents, which made everything more convenient. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of luxury, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere made this a stay to remember. Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing to mention here.
