It's up in a high mountain place which had amazing view. There wwere 2 parking places which was ok but you need to be a bit careful with the car. The hotel staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of good information and places to visit which was worth it a lot. We really appreciate the time that they spent with us on giving some historical details and very nice information about the city. The breakfast options were excellent.

The bathroom shower wasn't very good in regards of the water flow and it was getting full of water everywhere. Was ok with just a towel but had to be replaced everyday twice.

I liked very very much the way that the personnel treat us. It is obviously the thing that makes your stay very very good. The breakfast was ok too.

I didnt like the size of the room. I expected a bit more space for superior double.. i think that in the lower price i would get pretty much the same room. Once we got to the room i realized that we paid the extra money for superior only to have fireplace and not space. Before we do the reservation it was clear that the room would be bigger. And it wasn't. I think they had better rooms in the category of superior double and they just didnt put us there (as fas as we saw in commercial pictures of site)

The facilities were gorgeous. Furthermore, we did like the following : a minor repair was needed in our bathroom, which was caused due to our fault. Although we did not report the small damage to the reception (since we had a very tight schedule in the morning) we notice that the damage had already been fixed by the time we returned to our room. True professionalism I must say! Would definitely visit again.

Breakfast was truly rich but quality could have been better

The hotel is ideally placed for excursions either to the villages of Pilio or to the beaches. The staff is really friendly.

The drive to and from the hotel parking to the nearby street is a nightmare. It shouldn’t be that hard to solve the problem with a traffic light. The hotel should also provide some kind of help to the guests to dry their beach towels and beachwear. The sight of swimming suits hanging from the windows doesn’t do the hotel right.

Despotiko is a beautiful boutique hotel very close to the centre of Portaria. Our room was located in the main part of the hotel. The room was lovely and spacious with a modern bathroom and a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was spotlessly clean and the water was a lovely temperature, towels and sun loungers were provided and a bar service was available. The road access to the hotel is pretty challenging so we elected to park in the square and to walk to the hotel. Tavernas, bars, cafes and shops are about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We know we will be back!

The coffee at breakfast was disappointing… it’s too weak!

The location was great. The staff were exceptional. Friendly and eager to help out with anything. Very easy going atmosphere.

If I had to say something, that would be that it could use a bit more soundproofing, like in the corridors and between rooms.

A very nice hotel in Portaria/Pelion, modern renovated and designed, very clean and well-organized, with nice facilities, and very close to the center of Pelion. The breakfast was delicious and the pool was clean and with many sunbeds to relax on. All hotel's staff was very nice and helpful. Especially, many thanks to the manager of the Hotel Mr. Tilemaxos for all the helpful hints and tips that he provided to us during our stay there. We are going to visit Despotiko again!

Very nice hotel with good welcoming stuff. Breakfast was real good. Room was cleaned everyday.

Parking and entrance with car can be challenging, the village road is narrow but hey, cannot complain on hundred years of history tradition :-)
