I asked for a sea view room on the fourth floor. It was was spacious and clean with lovely sea views. Moreover it was exceptionally quiet which meant I enjoyed a very relaxing stay after a long journey. The breakfast room is wonderful; light, bright and welcoming with sea views. There is a superb selection of food, attentive and smiling staff and FABULOUS coffee.

I couldn’t get WiFi reception in my room. I admit was some distance from the main hotel hub but maybe there is room for improvement on the signal to the upper floors?

I requested a quiet sea view room and that which I was allocated was just perfect; on the uppermost floor and away from any nighttime entertainment noise. The staff are all so welcoming and friendly. The ambience in the dining room where breakfast is served is superb; calm and well-organised with wonderful sea views and the variety of food offered is great. the coffee is very good 👍🏼 Free parking is a real bonus.

WiFi is very intermittent in rooms away from the central hub of the hotel.

We had a sea view room, which was terrific. Looking at the other rooms, it was a no brainer! Listening to the waves lap in the morning was heavenly, and we were on the 4th floor. Everything was clean. Staff were great, and the breakfast was delicious. We had some food in the restaurant too, which was fab and the menu very varied, and the rooftop bar was also very lovely to have a night cap. A great stay and great hotel

They have charged us €60 for 2 tiny chihuahuas, which I think it’s preposterous.

Central located only a short walk of 10 minutes to all the shops, coffee bars, etc by the harbor promenade with amazing views - A lot of breakfast choices! It was short visit and during the winter, so didn't have the chance to experience more of the facilities. However, left the window door ajar and one could hear the sound of the waves! that's $1M sound! (for us)

The Reception Staff are always ready to give a very professional and warm welcome upon arrival. I always stay in a room with sea view. These rooms have a wonderful view out over the Gulf of Vólos which is beautiful and calming. The bedrooms are spacious and quiet with clean and very comfortable beds, complimentary hot drinks station and a refrigerator. The breakfast is exceptional and all of the staff are polite and respectful. The hotel offers plenty of free parking. In a busy city such as Vólos this is a very welcome bonus. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre but far enough away to offer quiet accommodation.

The rooms at Domotel Xenia Volou are spacious and generally quiet. The sea-facing rooms are particularly pleasant with large balconies and a lovely view. The bed linen is clean and there is a kettle and complimentary hot drinks and plenty of power sockets. In addition, the breakfast service is truly excellent, with a magnificent selection of foods and kind, polite staff. The Reception staff are always friendly and professional.

The hotel rooms and balconies are rather “jaded” and could do with some refurbishment. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. I moved a standard lamp, which clearly hadn’t been moved for cleaning for a long time 😳 Otherwise everything is very pleasant.

Bathroom is a bit old. The spa is closed on Mondays. The TV in the room is very small and with quite limited cable TV.

Breakfast was not so good as expected In particular breads and sweets were not fresh Also eggs were cold!

Please clean regularly windows in the rooms

I have been going back to this hotel for years now and the standard is always impeccable. The location and the facilities are excellent but it is the staff with their efficiency, professional and friendly attitude that make every stay wonderful!
