We booked a last minute trip to Zakyntos and chose Poseidon beach hotel mainly due to location for first 4 nights. We traveled with a 1.5 year old baby. We liked the hotel and after day 2, we extended our stay there to 11 days. Hotel location is excellent , right by the beach and super nice staff all around the hotel, reception, restaurant, bars, cleaning, animators etc... They were all super kind to our daughter and she will definetely miss the hotel cat Ginger :) Food at buffett was good and they had a mix of local dishes, some protein/meat and usual suspects in any buffet (salad bar, fruits, sweets, vegetables, rice, pasta, etc..) Our room had a fantastic view of sea and pool area and we enjoyed alot. In the evenings, you hear the sounds of animaiton & music, but this didn't bother us much and we chose to stay anyway, due to nice view. But if you ( or kids) are sensitive to sound, then may be choose a different part of the hotel. There is a small mini club for kids during the day, with animators from tour companies for older kids (>4). Limited option for smaller kids but it was an option anyway and there is a small outdoor playground as well. Same animators had a mini disco in the evenings, and it was really fun for our daughter. there is a super market across the road. Hotel is far enough from the main busy loud street of Laganas but its a nice walk to the main street in Laganas also, we had few evening walks there. There are sun beds within hotel area before entering beach that you can use, right by the beach. Sun beds on the beach don't belong to hotel and you have to pay for them in case you want. Another tip, you can go to the harbour in the mornings to see a big turtle being fed by a fisher man, a nice morning run/walk. Overall, we were extremely happy about our stay and would defintely recommend this hotel and its great value for money considering all above for a 3 * hotel. We will definetely go back there.

In general, we enjoyed our stay and there was nothing we didn't like but can provide some areas of improvement. - A small play corner in the mini club for smaller kids ( <2 years) could be useful - You should be aware that hotel doesnt provide beach towels , luckily we had one already - Would be useful to have something above the outdoor playground for some shadow during the day also

Nice hotel at the beach with serviceminded personnel, The meals was fairly good, with some course repeating every day (Pasta, sauce, fries, nuggets, saladbar), but 3-4 courses changing. The snackbar and poolbar was open most of the day for easy access to snacks and drinks. The standard room was okay space with 4 people in the room, this was because of the bunkbed for my young adults in the room, we were 4 in total. The shower and toilet was nice a clean, but the central fan didn`t work to draw out the humidity. Air condition worked very good, this was needed after all day out at 38 degrees celcius. The sandy beach was very nice, shallow water far out and possible to rent pedal boates to spot turtles just outside the perimiter. Very good day and night entertainment with compentent and nice personnel keeping the guests happy.

The drinks tasted syrup and watered down, the beer tasted like light beer. But it was all inclusive, I didn`t have high expectations on this, but there were a market/shop nearby where you could purchase what you want. They didn`t have a system to identify minors, so they wouldn`t be able to order alcohol. They might have a system, but my 12 and 15 year old boys could order freely. The pool is too small based on the amount of rooms/people at the hotel. It got very quick crowded due to quite many people at the hotel when we stayed there. And it seems the sunbeds was always busy, due to towels hanging there all day. The bunkbed provided in the room was 170cm long, so I don`t recommend this if you travel with young adults.

Breakfast and food was very good for an all inclusive..drink.. Cocktails very good Staff were all brilliant and helpful..

The part of beach that posiden owns is in a good place..but could be cleaner I used it 3x and the tables were dirty..the sand was covered in cigarette butt's.. yes it had been raked over but not cleaned...the little pool were you wash your feet is good..

Everything was great, Poseidon Beach Hotel exceeded my expectations for such a low price. Our room was spacious and very clean, most of the staff was very kind and friendly. Our room was in an another hotel across the street: Nemesis Hotel, and it was awesome! At first I was worried that we will be very far from the main hotel and the beach, but it was maybe 2 minutes more to get to the beach. The food was okay - it was a bit repetitive but we liked it and we were always full. Every night there were different activities: Bingo night, Greek dancers, Karaoke, you could join if you wanted but if not then you could walk to the Laganas strip and buy your souvenirs. If the prices remain low in the future we will definitely come back because we enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed for 3 nights and honestly I wish we stayed more.

It is more than we expected. Location is great, the rooms were simple but clean, the food was enough and we could choose from many different kind of. The evening show was fantastic, what Fati held. My son keeps talking about it and him since that day. He is incredible. Also there is a waitress I had to mention. She was so kind and friendly everytime we met, always had a nice word to us and the kids (she has blonde hair, is from Ukraine, and has bindi. The man who was doing cooking show made or daughter smile, though she is extremely shy with strangers. Such a great group of staff. Best hotel we tried recently!

Location was great! Everything was super, staff was very friendly and helpful. Exceptional attention we got from Sophi from Reception. She was great!

Hotel looks short in towels. Sometimes they were removed and not replaced. Hotel staff said that it is due to check out/ new check in’s as priority are those rooms.

Everything was super nice since the first staff at the reception (Sofie) until the last minute of our staying. The food, the desserts, the view from our room, the lad who makes omelette, the fella at the night events. Super lovely!

The housekeepers could do a better job, but I didn’t care much. The cocktails and local alcohol were not good to me, but I saw lots of people enjoying. Something could be done during the morning with the sun beds. At 7:30 people goes to the pool and leave their towels on the sun beds as if they are a sun bed lords. We decided to go to the pool at 9am and there were no sun bed available with almost nobody around the pool.

- the hotel has own beach -very nice stuff ,especially girls in restaurant. - tasty food. For 3 stars is enough variety and good quality. - room was cleaned up every day/ towels change. - close to hotel many shops and restaurants.

- the worst thing for us was that smoking was allowed at the restaurant area. So if you want to eat outside be ready to smell and taste cigarettes instead of food ( every second table were smoking, horrible). They should make either some smoking area, separated from non smokers or forbidden it there at all. We sat many times inside ,but I think it’s also unfair, if we would like to sit on fresh air and enjoy nice weather.

Beautiful location! Food was great. Service and staff was amazing. We booked an all inclusive option, and it was really worth it. The room was very comfortable, the food was great and the pool and all the facilities were very clean. Special thanks to all the staff, they are a really great team!

Entertoyment could be better. I would like evening entertainment every night, rather then every couple of nights.

Nice room with perfect view over the pool and beach. Comfy bed and a nice shower. Food variety was good. It had enough sunbeds but I think it only was because it was almost end of the season. This was also the reason why the offer for AI and the price of 64 euro per night (2 person) was unbeatable.

Floor in the room wasn’t clean. There was still a lot of sand. Internet costs extra.
