Enormous help and caring by front desk staff especially Mr Oscar and Mr Tyler in organizing and reserving obligatory Covid testing at official public Hong Kong test center. We chose to pay an add-on for a luxury room at 8th floor instead of 4th floor and the harbor view from higher above was worth every cent of the + 20 EUR. Absolutely quiet and large room. Soundproof Windows. Absolutely no traffic noise at all. We stayed at Nr 827 with harbor view. It is Hongkong! Price was about Euro 200 per night. Probably most expensive stay we ever had so far 😅 Compared to other places we saw during preparation and during our five days in Hongkong this was by far better than other places we had seen in this HK price range. We felt very save in the surroundings. By day and at night. Restaurants are nearby. 7/11 small supermarket as well. Underground a good five minutes’ walk and Hongkong taxi comparatively cheap. And you see more of the city. Ferry boats a 20 minutes stroll along the harbor view seaside or 5 minutes by taxi. If you have more than e.g. three days for sightseeing and you are brave enough can skip a few of the ever present shopping malls and instead go to the Museum M+ you will not forget the impressions. 🤩

Everything was just perfect. Nevertheless the front picture on Booking.com seems to be not entirely representative for many of the rooms. It seems to show one of the Suites or rooms on 14th floor as far as we can judge. The photos below show the view from the 8th floor. Notice for other travelers: Go for the so-called luxury rooms with the marble bathroom. If you also choose harbor view This means your luxury room should be in the range of floor 8 to floor 12. We had room nr 827 with a gorgeous view and completely quiet. Originally we had a room on the 4th floor (for 20 Euro less on Booking.com) also with sea view. This room might have been a lot closer to the city high way… So 20 Euro plus for the 8th was worth every cent🫶👍🍀🌺👏

-Safe & convenient area: metro station and lots of restaurants/ cafes within walking distance -Great views of Hong Kong island from the room, although a bridge/ road in front. -Breakfast was very good with big variety. -Staff were superb and went beyond their duties to help. Reception staff were also very knowledgeable re Hong Kong info ie transportation, sightseeing etc -Beautiful views from top floor bar/ restaurant-don’t miss this. -Spacious bathroom

Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel, I have no complaints. -Overall value for money could certainly be better. -Rooms were relatively small in size. -Pool was slightly uninspiring, water level low, opening times not as extensive as I would have liked, environment around not optimised.

Good location to shop at TST and visit museums but also quiet enough around the hotel to take a walk.. Seaview is wonderful while enjoying room service quality food at reasonable price. Bathroom is spacious at this price and everything has been kept at a high standard. Overall a pleasant staycation, as the check out cheerful lady saying "hope to see you return", I am sure I will.

Staff were generally polite when being approached but they won‘t look up to say a hello when guest walked by. Not impressed with Club staff sat there and chatting loudly among themselves.

I have been staying at the New World Millennium since before it changed its name, can't fault the service. It is in a quieter part of town but easy to get to - walking distance to some main attractions e.g. Avenue of stars, K11 Musea and many restaurants. Panoramic harbour view from our room was very pleasing to the eyes.

We stayed here this time around the New Year so the prices are a lot higher than usual - not such good value for money. I booked the Harbour View room thinking that this would have view to the New Year's firework, however it's facing the wrong side of the harbour, so that was kind of disappointing.

All the staff were fantastic - always smiling, super helpful and very respectful. The location of the hotel is amazing too - it is 5 mins walk from the main action, lots of bars and restaurants, the famous promenade walk is also 5mins away, but also equally there is no noise coming from the streets so you van enjoy good nights sleep. Our room was super spacious, clean, very comfortable, bathroom had a bath and a shower, massive mirror. Breakfast selection was also great so overall 10/10 experience.

Good sized room. Great air conditioning. Great house keeping service, very quick and perfect. Can’t fault them. Beautiful and large reception area. Great breakfast. Very polite and helpful staff. Fantastic location.

The roof top swimming pool was underwhelming, we expected it to match the style and luxury feel of the rest of the hotel. It seems like it would benefit greatly from a revocation. The gym was extremely small and had very limited equipment and only 3 treadmills. It would become full very quickly and was claustrophobic.

Staffs were friendly, especially the staffs who control the traffic outside of the building. Manager is so talkative and very willing to help.

I was upset when I checked in with the first staff (early check in, the room not ready yet) he promised upgrade my room from harbour view to higher level but end up when I got my keys, I was arranged to floor 10 which wasn't upgrade me, and the room was clean but completely different than floor 12 or above.

Our harbour view was amazing from our room and from the Residence lounge. Access on our floor to the lounge was wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic. Generally service from staff was great except for our first night arrival.

Upon our arrival at the very early hours of the morning after a long flight the bedding in one of our rooms was not as requested. It took hours to provide an extra bed in the room and it was very stressful waiting to get some sleep. We understand lower staffing for the night shift but it made our first night a poor experience.

Due to covid restrictions at the time, we were not allowed to eat or try your breakfast, room service is just not the same and were only allowed to do takeout from any eatery in the city. Not your fault as you must comply with covid rules. Your staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was great short walk to waterfront and great views of Hong Kong city skyline.

We basically could only use our room which was nice but nothing else. And after more restrictions lifted you lifted your prices on the rooms so then you went from fantastic to sorry not interested.

Breakfast is almost second to none. Variation from day to day, and always a good choice.

I strongly start to believe that when you book the room through Bookings.com, that they will put you in a room with some smaller malfunctond (needed to be taken care of). I was prety early in the hotel, and while I was waiting they checken in one guest after the other, while they let me wait untill (of course) one of the minor rooms became available.
