The room was very chic and very clean! The service was very awesome and the location was 10/10 :) The restaurant downstairs was absolutely worth visiting, we will surely be back!

I would have liked the room to have a mini fridge.

Large, beautifully styled room and bathroom. Large, comfortable bed. Good wifi and the TV has access to Netflix which was great. The hotel is in a central location. Breakfast at the cafe nearby was good. Contactless check in and check out.

No elevator in the building. We had 2 heavy bags, luckily I was travelling with my partner and he was there to help carry the bags up the stairs. Also despite being beautiful, the bathroom only had a combined shower/bathtub. There was no actual shower head, only a handheld shower hose which was difficult to use. The bath was also deep and I imagine it would be difficult to get in and out of if you had any mobility issues. A few minutes walk to breakfast which was at a nearby cafe. Ok in summer but wouldn’t be ideal in winter.

Absolutely everything! If I could give Room42 an 11 then I would. It is, without a doubt the loveliest place I've stayed and I'm 60 and have stayed in some nice places in my life. The welcome was great and the room amazing. Every detail was tastefully thought out. The bathroom was lovely as were the toiletries. The balcony was a lovely touch. We are cycling Eurovelo6 and it was great to be able to store the bikes securely. The location is perfect and Esztergom is a beautiful place. Breakfast is taken a short distance away in a bistro which had also been tastefully decorated. Again, the staff were welcoming and the breakfast was superb. I can't recommend Room42 enough!

Great location, very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfy and great water pressure in the shower.

There was a lack of kitchen accessories such as saucepans, tea towels etc. No basics such as tea and coffee making facilities besides a kettle. A French press, a little tea/coffee/sugar, for example, would have been good. For a 3 bedroom apartment I would expect more than a total of 3 coat hangers.

Very new and comfortable place. It was a basic bedroom, but with a nice sofa chair. There was a wine fridge to keep our drinks cold. Breakfast was awesome.

There was no kettle or coffee maker. It's nice to be able to make coffee in bed. Also, it was a bit difficult to find.

The location was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and well lit. It had a separate shower and toilet, which was unusual and allowed for more space in the shower room. The room was also quiet. The breakfast was very good, with several unique offerings, and the same with the dinner menu.

Getting checked in was a little difficult because there’s no true reception area. You have to ring to be allowed in and someone escorts you upstairs to a small desk with a computer for check in. If arriving by car, the garage is a bit of a walk from the hotel, maybe two blocks or so. You park in the garage at the bank, but no one explained that to us until check in. We had to park on the street, then move the car once we were advised where to park. Overall it was fine, just a bit of a pain to get settled.

- a bit misleading as we booked a 2 bedroom apartment and photos showed a beautiful kitchen. Kitchen was there but all cupboards were completely empty. We just wanted cups to make tea and there was nothing. After asking and a bit of misunderstanding because of the language, we got come cups and were able to make hot water using the microwave. Nowhere in the description of our reservation said “fully equipped kitchen”. So our fault for not reading it but when booking an apartment and seeing photos of a kitchen, one doesn’t expect so have it empty.

If you come by car, you can park in the parking garage near the hotel, they have several reserved spaces on -1 floor, just say that you are a hotel guest, reservation in advance is necessary, you will pay later in hotel, It was simple and easy. Check-in is from 15:00-18:00. Check-out 08:00-11:00 (possible self-Check-out).

Great location, right in the city centre, about 10 minutes walk from the Esztergom Basilica, Esztergom Castle and also 10 mins distance walking to the danube shore, with the Maria Valeria bridge crossing the river towards Slovakia. The hotel itself is impecable: brand new building, clean and modern inside, very nice and welcoming ambience throughout or stay. We got a nice room as well, it was relatively spacious one, with nice facilities overall. It was overlooking a busy street, but we could not really hear the traffic in the night luckilly. Staff were wonderful: friendly and helpful, both at reception and at the restaurant. Breakfast was superb and we had an amazing lunch in Bistro42, which is a magnificent place, super nice staff, excellent food and overlla the bistro offer a fantastic culinary experience - highly recommended, both the hotel and the bistro.

For our taste, the pillows in the bed were a bit uncomfortable, but other than that, all was OK.
