Breakfast + location

Nobody at the reception, when I arrived - even I arrived before 8pm. The key I got out off the special key cabinet, but I didn't know which key was fitting what. Only because a visitor of the hostel left, I was able to enter. He explained the tag system. Furthermore I couldn't ask for keeping my ice pack frozen as well as about the safety place for the bicycle. My room was on the most upper floor and no elevator, no hjälp by carrying my panniers and more. The towels were worn out and the lavatory pan was not fastened in the floor. Therefore it bobed up and down.

We enjoyed our stay very much and this little property has seriously exceeded our expectations. The whole hotel including outdoor areas was exceptionally clean, the room was more spacious than pictures showed and very comfortable. Checkin and checkout was very easy and front desk lady was friendly and welcoming. Our stay included breakfast which I found very convenient considering everything was closed following New Year’s celebrations. The breakfast buffet had great selection and freshly brewed coffee was available upon request. We traveled with our 2 year old and I would say this place is very family friendly. We were even able to leave his stroller in a lobby over night. The hotel itself is located about 3 minute walk from the main square, very convenient. Parking is possible on the street or in a garage about 7 minutes from the hotel. There are few cute little spots for food and drinks very close by as well. We were very happy and satisfied with our little trip.

Rooms are somewhat smaller but that's the case with all the facilities located in the local (small) houses, we had similarly sized rooms in other places too (within a block or two from the main square). Room size did not bother us at all though. Everything worked fine incl. aircon. Breakfast was fine and staff very friendly.

Location, staff

very small rooms. I’ve reserved room with one bed for two person as I was with a child, but the room was with two separate beds Only municipal parking, but when I was looking for the hotel the own parking was the one of the most important point and booking showed the parking in this hotel. unfortunately I had to park my car in the city garage on the other street

The location of the hotel is really good, the staff very friendly and polite, the room was of decent size and had all required amenities. Everything was very clean which we really appreciated having an infant with us.

The bathroom was quite small and the garden is not actually a garden, but a big balcony with a table and some chairs.

location is great - in downtown. Easy to check in, easy to check out. Communication with stuff also good.

There is few things but all that is known in advance (on booking / nothing hidden) so I would not mention it. What we did not saw is that bathroom is very small so if your heights is above 150cm you will have some issues to use it.

It is a perfect modest small hotel in the center of Gyor, location can't be better! It is clean and cute, interior is so cute and cozy.

The toilet seat in the bathroom was too close to the wall, you can't sit normally. And the breakfast a bit small by portions, not by variety.

Non functional minibar or minifridge, we could not find an on/off button, and despite it was connected into electricity, it did not refrigerate :-( Low offer of meals during breakfast…. Unfortunately.

The location was the main selling point, as it's very close to the center of Gyor. Staff was quite friendly and called before our arrival to let us know how to get to the room. We stayed for just 1 night and didn't have breakfast as the stay was just a layover towards another destination.

Neat hotel in the city center with comfortable rooms and sufficient breakfast. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and if we will go to Gyor again this hotel will be our first choice.

As the hotel is located in the city center it might be a bit noisy even when windows are closed.
