The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a special situation caring for family and they let us check in early The bedding for 3 in a room was perfect again for our situation. A grandma a mom and daughter. 3 good size twins, great pillows. Though English was limited we did our best with communication. They called for taxi service when needed A simple hotel Good for meeting our needs at the time

No elevator. So as long as a person is strong enough to carry luggage up stairs it’s ok.

The girls and lady on reception on Saturday daytime and evening were absolutely LOVELY, so kind and helpful, as was the lady doing housekeeping! Honestly, I have stayed in countless hotels and B&Bs, and they were really were some of the nicest staff members I've encountered. They even let us eat our takeaway pizzas on their cafe terrace and provided us with plates and cutlery! The room, bedding and towels were spotlessly clean, the mattresses were more comfortable than the ones we have at home, they provided a cot for our baby daughter to sleep in (with her own monogrammed pillow - I liked that touch), there was air-conditioning, a mosquito net, plenty of space for our things and a rack for our luggage, downstairs had a cafe-bar (open 6am-10pm) with a patio, and the parking was plentiful (some spaces in front of the hotel and some spaces behind it). Also, we noticed that they do allow well-behaved dogs to stay, for a fee. The area outside is mostly quiet, green and tree-lined, and a 10-15 min walk to the city. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're definitely going to return next year, for longer than 1 night, to really explore and appreciate beautiful Szekesfehervar better. Thank you again!!

Nothing, though the room we had would have been a bit tight squeeze if our daughter had been a hulking great teenager or adult - but as it was, we were fine!

Good parking place inside the yard. Walking distance to the city center, about 10-15 min. Great restaurant at about 5 min from the hotel. Clean room with a small mini bar. Good, basic breakfast.

Pretty warm during the summer and the air conditioning is not well positioned as it directed towards the beds making it difficult to leave it on during the night.

Could use some more 220v sockets in the room. These days you need to charge a lot of suff, one socket in the corner under the desk is not enough

We were able to store our bikes in a secure place in the hotel. The room is spacious and there are tables outside were you can sit (we had dinner here).

We had to ask for the air conditioning remote control, it was not given to us during check in. Room 6 window gives on the parking where people can see you. There is no curtain for the shower.

Situated in a peaceful neighborhood, but very close to the city center. The breakfast was fine, and we stayed only for the nights. Rest of our days we were either to Balaton or somewhere else.

It’s very clean and very helpful staff. They all speak English very well. Very good size room. They kept our luggage for the day after check out.

Not at the first stay here. A very good and chic hotel. Nice and jumpy staff. Very good breakfast. Parking facilities, generous terrace. Quality / price ratio changed from last stay, but is a general trend in Hungary. Nice city, close to Budapest.

Air conditioner not very useful...

We liked literally everything. As we travelled by train we appreciated that the hotel is located only 5 minutes away but at the same time it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the heart of the town. (There is also a great restaurant very close by in case you don't feel like walking too far.) The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the room was just big enough, clean and there was plenty of space for our clothes etc. Also the bathrooms was very spacious (and it has a hairdryer!). Staff of the hotel was absolutely amazing, during our stay we've met 5 different receptionist and all of them were very nice and helpful. Breakfast exceeded our expectations, it was very tasty and we could choose from a variety of options. You can also buy tickets for the Bory Vár directly at the reception - definitely a place to visit when you're in town. To sum it up - if we ever come back to Székesfehérvár, Hotel Platan will be the choice number one!

Everything was great. (Note: We did not use the wi-fi so I can't tell how well it works.)

Professional staff, quiet place, comfy room, good breakfast. Also, the flexibility and the entire communication process with the hotel reception when making, cancelling, modifying reservations. It was our third time here. We'll come back again, for sure.
