Check-in was relatively painless, Elevators worked. Room was spotless. Breakfast was fairly extensive in its range of food to eat, although some of the bain marie food was not warm enough, perhaps it had been sitting out too long. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the Goulash soup was divine. Shuttle to airport was quick and hassle free, a nine seater van was utilized. Although it's probably ignored by the customers, I did appreciate the bespoke travel theme of the carpet on level 1, with various European cities named and each city linked with the path of a travelling jet...it is a nice touch, considering the majority of people using the hotel use it in transit to Liszt Ferenc Airport...airline staff included.

Shower rose was not the best, didn't give a nice even stream, and the shower door had to be slammed to seal the water in and not let it escape outside the cubicle. I think I had read on other reviews about insects being present in the room. There were, I think they were like midges present, but they didn't bother me too much. They seemed to like the sunlight so they preferentially stayed near the window. Did see some in the bathroom however as well. The booking also stated a balcony, however opening the room window I was greeted by a slated roof which most likely covered the restaurant beneath. As I had overheard the hotel was fully booked and was only staying a night, this wan't an issue.

The hotel is located in the close range of the airport with professionally organised confortable free shuttle service taking 8 minutes getting the airport. The room eaw good and confortable well equipped. The staff was professional and helpful. The breakfast was rich and good with proper selection. It was served from very early, we got the cold food (cheese, croissant, bread, yoghourt, salami hard boiled egg,, milk, juices etc. before 5 hour in the morning and freashly made food like scramled and fried eggs, sosauges, bacon etc. quater to 6 hours, so we couls eat before our early flight.,

Buffet breakfad opens opens at 6 am. Most people stay there overnoght because of early flights . E.g we were with a large grooup in the shutte at 5 am, all those people were leaving early. 6 am is a little late to start the breakfast. Hotel Stacio starts at 4 :30 am. We would have appreciated a copupke of free waters in the room

The airport shuttle service works well, arrived at 2330 and they were there within 10 but messaged in advance and given a number to call. On the way back told them time of flight and airport transfer time, was missed but they organised a private taxi and paid it which came within 10mins. Good breakfast I needed to take away and was given a carry box to fill up. Usual eggss and beans but also fruits, pancakes, nuts and cold meat selections. Out of hours shops are closed, in hours large tesco supermarket nearby which you can get all you could really want

Not much but Hungarians seem abit grumpy /not welcoming not a specific issue with hotel they don't smile much😅 The mini bar is packed with stuff only the water is free. They don't top up water when the bar closes.

The hotel is a bit outdated in it's style. Feels a bit like youre in a new hotel in the 80s. But, the room was spacious for us a family of four 2 kids 2 adults. It was all clean and tidy and for just a one night stay after a long flight thats all we needed. The value for money is excellent as it included a decent breakfast and a shutttle from the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well

I think these are small things but worth mentioning. You need a shuttle to the hotel which needs to be ordered, so if you don't have access to a phone you need to communicate via the booking app. The breakfast is not suited for vegans

Hotel shuttle service to/from airport was a nice touch. Proximity to airport was good. Breakfast was good and included reasonable amount of choice and variety. Internal decor in the hotel (nature feel with lots of plants) was very nice. All in all, good value for money

The hotel is showing signs of age; toilets and bathrooms are in need of some light repair in places and modernising. I booked a taxi via the hotel to my next destination about 30 minutes away but this turned out to be very expensive. Granted that fuel prices were high in Hungary at the time but even then, the independent taxi driver charged too much, i feel. If I've known better, I should have taken the free hotel transfer to the airport and taken a taxi from the airport, which would have cost me less.

I liked the bed and the pillow very much. There's a kettle, tea, coffee and water in the room. Nice overall retro atmosphere, even though my room was rather fresh. Staff peaks English very well.

The shuttle is free of charge, but it's a shared mini-bus, so if someone is late, you'll wait in the car. It only goes according to a timetable, 1 car every 30 min. The morning receptionist was not very happy to answer questions, but polite. For Hungary, it's expensive.

Located pretty close to the airport and with a free shuttle service to and from the airport it was all very convenient. The information provided in the booking confirmation was very good, definitely better than average. For instance it was clearly described how to get a shuttle when arriving at the airport, incl a very well defined pick-up location. The breakfast was very good and so was the restaurant offerings in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious and in very good condition. The bathroom was also very spacious. Unfortunately I didn't check out the gym, but I'm sure that if I had done that, and found it as good as the rest of the hotel, I think I would have rated my stay Exceptional, instead of Superb. For me it was a big bonus feature that there was a car rental company in the same building, just downstairs from the hotel lobby. Perfect! Ok, maybe not the cheapest car rental but indeed very convenient.

The only thing I can think of was the room temperature. When I was there in the end of May it was already quite warm outside and therefore also in the room. The A/C didn't really seem to do the job to cool the room down very much.

Comfortable rooms, very clean with good bedding offering excellent sleep quality. Bathroom was well-equipped and also very clean although the bathroom could do with brighter lighting. Overall a comfortable hotel offering good value for money relative to its quality. Many guests will appreciate the free parking although I didn't arrive by car. To my knowledge it's also the only airport hotel offering a free transfer service.

The transfer bus took too long to arrive (30 minutes) after having been summoned on the phone in the early hours. I could have been in the city centre by taxi during the time I was waiting. There was also no 'do not disturb' sign in the room and housekeeping was knocking shortly after 8am. Woke me up unnecessarily early which I didn't appreciate after such a short night.

Overall my stay was beyond satisfaction. The location is superb. Very ideal for short stay or transit via Budapest. Check-in was done smoothly with clear instruction and speedy arrangement of pick-up services. I not only used airport pickup but also free transportation to the nearest train stn. My room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Foods were fresh. The juice was not particularly impressive but there were assortment of things for choices. It's also quite healthy to have yogurt, nuts, seeds, cheese, hams, boiled eggs, plus breads and pastries.
