Where to begin...the bar tenders in the attached bar were friendly and helpfully turned us on to the homemade pizza for dinner; the room was small but perfect; breakfast oh boy! The spread of food was astonishing, from the delicious pastries, bread and toasts to the splendid meats, cheeses, herrings, fresh fruits, cereals - the choices kept us coming back for refills. This hotel surpassed all imagination!

We were sad not to be staying one more night! We were very pleased with our stay.

Our room was very nice. Comfy bed so we had a great sleep. We saw the northern lights over the hotel from the car park. Check in was very quick and easy. The breakfast was very good, plenty of options. It's continental but a good one. The shower has great pressure i liked the tiles on the walls. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It has everything you want for your ring road journey. Value, comfy beds, views, location, great breakfast and friendly staff.

The window in the room could do with a lick of paint. That's all i had.

The room is a good size and pleasant; don't let the outside or corridors put you off. The breakfast is good, especially the little chocolate muffin things but we avoided the scrambled eggs. Parking is easy, and the hotel is easy to find. Wifi was good. This is a good base for exploring the East Fjords.

The shower didn't get very hot on the last morning, but was fine before that.

Private check-in/check-out. The room is not very big, but really comfortable. The location is great. There is a library just across. And petrol station with snacks and pizzeria in 5 mins walk. The breakfast is amazing. There are famous baths in the city. If you have enough time, highly recommend it

Bartenders were awesome, bar stayed open late, great breakfast, fantastic shower and comfortable beds, loved the pillows and plenty of space in the bedroom, great parking and centrally located.

TV doesn’t work and no options for watching anything, that was disappointing. Also the bathroom was kind of small and we bumped into a lot of things.

Breakfast and kindness of staff were excellent; the superb dinner in the adjacent restaurant was a bonus. Due to car trouble we had a second (but quick) dinner at the restaurant and the freshly prepared pizzas and baked were fantastic.

The bathroom was a little tight and cramped for 2 persons being in it at the same time.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! Location, facilities, linens, staff, clean, great restaurant in house for dinner and an ABSOLUTELY fantastic breakfast included. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, FULL buffet of everything traditional PLUS pickled herring if you are a seafood lover. The restaurant in house is VERY good. The seafood broiled pot for dinner was extraordinary and breakfast was just as good…all in house. THIS IS THE ONE!!!!

Stylish and neat hotel in the center of Egilsstadir. Modern bathrooms. GOOD hairdrier. Nice breakfast. The restaurant on site is recommended too.

The position of the hotel was perfect for us, travelling from the south and on the way to Husavik. The hotel is quite big and good located. Our room was tidy and clean, perfect for our short stay. It was also possible to have pizzas from the restaurant and they were quite tasty ;): We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Wifi was too bad, both in the room and in the restaurant. Connection was good, but the speed was so low I couldn't really do my work. Which is very important, since we are not really on holiday, but working with "Home office" while we travel.
