We only stayed the one night, and this place was everything we wanted. It’s close to several points of interest but away enough so it’s really calm. The staff is very professional. The room is big enough for two people + bags/suitcases, the bathroom is large and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, enough to get us through the whole day! The hot tube was very welcome and pleasant after two weeks in an RV. Cherry on top: there are 3 very friendly and playful dogs on property!

Good Icelandic breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms. Common area filled with hand made momentos and dishes that do not match in the dining area; just like going to the grandparents house.

This is not a ding but what could have improved your experience: consider add some extra pillows and mid-season (mid September) weight bedding. Comforter was too hot and sheet was too light. I should have asked but didn't. We stayed three nights so that made little impact on a great experience.

Beautiful location! Room was small and seemed like a basement room but very clean and comfy. Staff was excellent and the breakfast was beyond wonderful. We camped mostly during our two weeks and this was our last hotel stay. So worth the drive away from the crowds. I will say that we did go elsewhere for dinner due to the pricing.

A unique stay in a ranch style location, from arrival the staff were all so helpful. It felt very homely with the dogs happily wandering about. There is a hot tub to relax in after a long days sightseeing and after reading the reviews we booked the buffet style dinner. It didn't dissapoint, the food was amazing. We would have loved to stay longer

Nothing, everything was great

Location is very good, easy to use as "google maps" lands directly on the place. Traditional Icelandic food buffet, I was very satisfied. I highly recommend this place and I will be back. Drive from the city center is just about 1 hour.

I have nothing negative to say on my first visit.

Hotel is beautiful and charming. Our room was one of the nicest we had on the trip. Staff was kind and helpful.

Only option for dinner was a one price for all buffet, which is no option for light eaters. Given how far away alternatives are, an a la carte menu would have been appreciated.

Maybe one thing. I would appreciate bathrobes in my room. It is little bit difficult use the hot tube if your room is outside of main builging

The food was amazing, the staff couldn't have been more attentive or kinder, the rooms were extremely comfortable

I would have liked some creamer or milk for tea in the room.

Breakfast was very good. Staff is very, very nice. It seems everyone is always happy. The hot tub is a bonus.
