We enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was very clean and the hosts were friendly. It provides all essentials, we had access to a very well equipped kitchen and an entertainment area (pool table, darts, chess). Location was very good, there are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. It is also a nice area for hiking, close to the Hot Springs, where after a 45 min hike we got to relax by bathing in the warm water of a river. Would definitely consider going back.

Spacious, modern, very well equipped and very clean. Simple comfortable and the great location for visiting this part of Iceland: from Sky Lagoon, Blue Lagoon to Diamond Beach. Perfect place for rest. You can see geysers’ eruption from the window😍😍😍 choosing big apartment!

The owner is very friendly and they paid attention to every detail! The accommodation is well designed and lovely decorated not just a place where most of the guests stay a night…. We could have easily stayed a week! It is so nice and cozy there! Coffee machine in the room and the hot tub is awesome. We were very tiered but we couldn’t miss this extra. Great to be able to enjoy a hot bath late evening!

The location was great for walking into town. Our host met us on arrival. The hot tub was ready for our use. I actually had two pillows which was a bonus and the coffee machine was ideal for making multiple cups of coffee. The property itself was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious.

We were a party of 5 so couldn't all fit in an apartment and so booked a room as well. The room was basic.

Everything was just as pictured. The two-bedroom apartment was spacious, spotless, and quiet. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. The location was great for getting out to see the sights. The kitchen had a coffee pot and coffee, as well as a good selection of dishes, utensils, etc. Good blackout curtains in the bedroom, comfy beds. Thank you so much! We had a lovely stay.

Honestly, everything was really great. The bedrooms were a bit warm at night, but we opened a window and did fine. We would have appreciated a more-enclosed shower to minimize splashing in the bathroom. But really, we loved the property very much and would recommend it to anybody.

The woman running this place is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were lovely, especially the bathrooms; everything was clean and modern. We also had a hot-tub right outside our room which was awesome. We didn’t use the communal kitchen but we had that as an option. There were many restaurants around and it was pretty centrally located. This town is 40 minutes from Rekyjavik.

My wife and I had a poor start on our vacation in Iceland. However, Varmi Guesthouse Apartments saved our situation. The apartment was fantastic cosy decorated, clean and very functional. In the morning the host gave us a lift back to the airport in Keflavík in order to solve our issue, a drive of 190 km in total. I had to insist paying for the fuel. This place is very recommendable.

Smári is just the best host, so friendly, welcoming and incredibly happy to help. Ask him for the best places for food and listen to his recommendations, it's so worth it ☺️ Beautiful little apartment, very well decorated and looked after! Good location for further travel towards the South East but also convenient for Thingvellir, Geysir or waterfalls like Gullfoss or Brúarfoss.

A perfect little guesthouse with really nice people running it. Very nice double room with a big bed and brand new bathroom. The backyard patio with a hot tub is so cosy and nice with lights and hammocks between the trees. Great location for small hikes to the hot springs or for driving around discovering Island. Private parking and nice neighbourhood. A small waterfall with jumping trouts few minutes away. Restaurants, bakery and a supermarket is about a 10 minutes walk.

The location was awesome. Very modern and well appointed. It has a hot tub, which I didn't remember when booking. Bonus! The bedrooms were comfy. The bathroom was huge. The living area had very comfy chairs. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities. The outside patio was nice to sit and have coffee/after dinner drinks. The location was quiet. It was within walking distance to the downtown restaurant area. The town is clean and safe. Unfortunately the thermal park next door was closed.
