The linen was the best feature. The staff are lovely and helpful.

Location! Not a good location especially if you are a single female traveller!

Great location: accessibility to railway station and important attractions like Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Isarlat, City Palace as well as shopping centres like Bapu Bazaar, Johari Bazaar, Chandpole market. Extremely clean rooms, wash rooms, comfortable beds- gives a feeling like home. Beautiful garden with an ample space to chill. The food at the Chitra cafeteria is good. The buffet breakfast is sumptuous with a lot of options.

The staffs at the reception are bit unprofessional. There was an issue with the suction power of the commode, the door of the bathroom was jammed and couldn't be locked. Even after repeated intimations, these issues were not redressed. Clear lack of communication was evident between the staffs at the reception and housekeeping staffs. Would easily be a 9 or 9.5 star property if they employ professional and courteous staff at the front desk.

Everything was very good, the cleaning was done on time and correctly, the reception was friendly and kind

In the breakfast hall, someone watches over you how much you consume, and another thing that has nothing to do with the hotel is the sound of car horns.

1. Hotel equipment. The room I booked was supposed to have a single size bed, but I was given a room in a new building with a large queen-size bed and a soft mattress. Thank you so much for that. The room itself is clean and spacious, equipped with various household appliances: from air conditioning and TV to a kettle with tea and coffee to choose from. Also in the room there was a mini-dressing room with a dressing table with lighting. The bathroom has a shower with hot water supply 24/7, and by countries with a warm climate, the water was very hot, which is a huge plus. The beautiful territory of the hotel is a separate topic. There is a small garden at the main entrance, where you can do yoga in the morning and have dinner in the evening to the sound of music. Protected area. In addition, there was a buffet breakfast with not so spicy food. 2. Maintenance. The hotel staff speaks excellent English and will help at any moment. Also, in the evenings and mornings there was a "cultural program": they played the sitar and sang songs (probably) in Hindi. 3. The visitor. Yes, I also consider this a plus. Here you can find guests from around the world and have a great evening in their company.

1. Noise from streets. Because of it I couldn't sleep well at night.

I like my room. It was comfortable. Loads of hot water. Clean. Nice and warm as it was winter. I loved the breakfast. Being vegetarian it suited me. I enjoyed the garden a lot. Sitting having a morning cay in the winter sun was lovely. I stayed in January. They have taxis on call to take you anywhere.

I did not like the city pollution from too many tuk tuk's. Inner city is very noisy. The best solution is to take a taxi from the hotel. Have them wait as waiting charge is not to expensive. Use them to get around. If you use tuk tuks you are sat in the middle of the noise and the traffic pollution. I did it quite a few times and would always remind myself latter. Take a taxi. Its worth the extra rupees.

This hotel was just what i needed after a 3 week solo trip around Northern India. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had lots of character. I used their laundry service a few times and was cheap and same day. Their restaurant was excellent. The buffet breakfast, coffee machine coffee set me up nicely for the day. I really looked forward to their evening meals during the day - i would highly recommend the special thali if you have a large appetite. The staff were impeccable and service amazing for the price.

Breakfast was really fresh and quite good! There were laundry services which was convenient. Outside our room which was in the last floor there was a big terrace balcony and looked beautiful in the morning sun. With few table and chairs to sit with your tablets or a cuppa or a glass of wine was lovely! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean enough. Location was ok within 15mins to 30mins of the shops and bazaars. Route to the Cafe was from outside the building and there was an open space outside where you could enjoy the morning sun with live soft music playing in the background.

Bathrooms could do a bit of an extra scrubbing, power of showers could be better.

Beautifully maintained 100-year-old family owned hotel with its own character and charm. Delicious and very affordable meals throughout the day. What a blessing to come to this place after a day full of sightseeing, exhaustion and enjoy a hot bath, delicious dinner and traditional chai masala at the veranda (extra bonus for that veranda). There are also live happenings in the morning, like peaceful chanting. Morning yoga classes are also offered. Our room had a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Loved the character in the furniture and the decoration overall in the room. The personnel was very friendly and they helped us to book cabs and so on. We would definitely consider to go back to India and especially to Jaipur just to stay in this hotel! Strongly recommended.

Nothing at all.

The hotel's traditional cuisine, reminiscent of homemade meals, was a highlight. The fair prices added to the satisfaction, making dining at the hotel a budget-friendly yet delicious choice. What impressed me equally was the on-site store at the hotel. It offered a variety of items at the best prices, surpassing the costs at external stores catering to tourists. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, ensuring I had everything I needed without breaking the bank. The hotel's location proved to be the cherry on top. Situated in a prime area, it provided easy access to key attractions and saved me from the hassle of navigating through the city. For a traveller seeking a homely atmosphere, cooperative staff, and a central location at reasonable prices, Hotel Arya Niwas is undoubtedly the ideal choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a memorable and affordable stay.

I must express my dissatisfaction with the blankets provided, especially in the winter season. The blankets fell short in terms of warmth and coziness, which impacted the overall comfort of my stay. Despite the hotel's commendable efforts in creating a homely atmosphere, the insufficient insulation of the blankets proved to be a significant drawback during colder nights. As a guest, I believe that a comfortable and warm bed is essential for a restful stay, particularly in the winter months. The pricing of tea within the hotel seemed a bit steep compared to what I expected.
