Tara niwas is what i highly recommended. Best location. Going out is easy with Tuk Tuk. The place is peaceful, clean and feel safe. The room is large. I even got a separate closet room and bath tub. This place gets a good standard for a good hotel. The atmosphere somehow feels in the garden and peaceful. I even spotted some peacocks on the corridor and they are beautiful. You can also see a bunch of fluffy rabbits in the garden. The food here is all vegetarian. They accept credit card.

Food menu for room services should be more menus.

Tara Niwas is like a home from home for me and it's a hotel I return to whenever I visit Rajasthan. The staff are wonderful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable with lovely hand painted designs on the ceilings and high quality bedding. Security and reception are always on hand and there are a good selection of veg dishes and snacks available in the restaurant. It's a delightful place, with some quirky features and touches of eccentricity (check out the garden ornaments and flower pots!) all of which add to its charm. It's in a decent location but there's nothing particularly notable within walking distance to see here. However, there are many rickshaws passing by outside, or if you prefer not to haggle on the fare, Uber and Ola taxis and rickshaws are cheap in Jaipur and easy to book.

Other guests treating restaurant staff like servants without respect was annoying, but the staff handle it extremely well.

It’s a really cozy and cute property that feels out of the way of some of the rest of the craziness of Jaipur while still being a short rickshaw/Uber ride away from everything important. The room was clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The staff was really nice, and the cafe on the first floor was great.

The only extremely mild issue with the place was that the water for the shower took awhile to heat up, but that could be pretty common for the area. Once it has the time to heat up it works perfectly fine.

Lovely friend warm welcome, we arrived early which wasn’t a problem, I wish i could remember the young man’s name who helped us book the theatre tickets and also helped with onward travel arrangements. The room is spacious, very clean, lovely bathroom with nice products, very good ac, a beautiful home which we felt welcome in. Nice quiet location and a really short walk to the water, shops and just for looking around. last but not least, we enjoyed a wonderful and filling home cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again, thank you !!

We were so happy to arrive at Tara Niwas after some dodgy hotels in Delhi. This is a really peaceful place, with very attentive and pleasant staff. The room was very clean, the food was excellent, and the hotel offered a lot of optional tours and experiences at fair prices with reliable providers. We enjoyed the hiking, a driver for the day around Jaipur, and traditional music and dance at the sister hotel Arya Niwas.

Nothing! It was perfect.

Lovely hotel, felt very peaceful, easy to get ubers to where we were going, we like the garden and the rabbits. They had filtered water available to save on plastic bottles which we liked.

Generally staff were great and friendly. Younger male receptionist wasn't as helpful with our queries (like paying the night before our check out for our early train and help booking train tickets as offered in service list) as we would have liked.

Tara Niwas is a good option for a short stay in Jaipur, a place far away from the city center hustle, in a quite Bani Park area. Our room was also comfortable, beds were quite spacious. We had a very short stay at the hotel, but overall our experience was very good. The best feature of the hotel is the very beautiful garden in the front yard. I would recommend anyone who loves cute gardens and flowers to stay at this property.

The breakfast did not have many options, but everything was clean and fresh. Overall there was nothing that much we did not like about the hotel.

The hotel had a very traditional and classy feel to it. The location was great, in a quiet area of Jaipur yet not too far from the main attractions. The room was very comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. The in-house restaurant serves delicious food. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here almost every day since it was too hot to do much outside in the afternoon. All the staff were extremely friendly and the garden is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. The food was quite good, the staff very accommodating and just really a nice and safe space. Also like that they are eco-conscious by having water filters on each floor and use little to no plastic. The decor of the place is quite earthy and welcoming.

The mattresses were a bit soft for us but that could be a personal preference.

The character of the hotel is very charming, with the painted ceilings, the furniture, the printed cotton curtains and table covers, the old-fashioned type of service, etc. It is an old school hotel that is run smoothly and efficiently.

The room and the bathroom could have been cleaner, and both needed a brush of paint and some simple repairs of locks. There was also some construction work noise that continue throughout most of the daytime, but luckily stopped in the evening.
