Best thing about Grand Uddhav is it's staff. All are welcoming and friendly. They will attend promptly to your requests. Special mention to Amith from the rooftop restaurant and Ashok from lobby baggage handling. I loved my stay at Grand Uddhav. If you are Sri Lankan going for VISA interviews, I highly recommend this hotel.

Its located in a busy market road. Much noisy during day time. But if you want to experience the life of vendors, this location is ideal. For me, I experienced a lot.

We had a really nice time at the hotel. The food was amazing, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Everyone—from the reception to the room service and even the guy at the entrance—was always smiling, which made us feel really welcome. The prices for the rooms and food were fair, and I’d definitely recommend this place to others.

The taxi service was overpriced (INR 2000 for a ride that should’ve been about INR 500). It was hard to communicate with room service. The bathrooms were clean but a bit old. A little extra cleaning and an upgrade would be nice. The lobby wasn’t very comfortable since it’s open to the parking lot, which made it feel a bit stressful.

This is a lovely spot for foreign guests. The location is great, in Pahar Ganj but off the main bazaar, so quieter and nicer. And many National guests were staying here, which is a good sign! As frequent traveler thru Delhi, this is my new favorite. The staff, especially Sonu and the travel desk, were helpful and saved the day when I needed to sort out a crisis. They went above and beyond and had no expectations. Rooftop restaurant, fresh clean rooms, decent food.

It would be helpful to be able to make an international ISD call, (in case of any emergency) but this is not the fault of the hotel, just the way it is nowadays.

I wanted to access a computer for an urgent matter during my stay ( I didn't take laptop with me). They were truly helpful to me and provided me the opportunity to use the computers at the reception desk. Also when I asked for a place to take a prinout (just 2-3 pages), they said that they will do it for me at the reception. Very helpful staff, friendly, welcoming and truly supporting not just showing off. Location is very close to Janpath market, connaught place and palika basar. I specially recommend this for the people who wanna do shopping in Delhi and visiting VFS global. Actually I have many things to appreciate about them. In my next visit to Delhi, I will definitely stay there. Earlier I was in another hotel and it was terrible then I moved to this hotel (For 4 nights).

Not a single negeative point to say about

We reserved dulux double room and room was superb with air conditions. Coffe packets, toilatories, mini fridge items available with the room. Food was also good and we didnt experience any after effects as well. The hotel is providing air port taxis at INR 700. They have money exchange facility for USD and EUR. Staff is also very helpful and good.

There is a leakage in the bathroom floor and informed to the hotel. They inspect it and said that it was main sink water but it seems to me that leakage from some other place. But it didnt effect us too much for our stay. Inside of the hotel is good but located in very busy and unclean street. So always recommend to go outside of the hotel with uber. Sometimes uber guys dont come to hotel due to busy street. So if you use the tuk, rikshaw pls use them after inquiring the price.

We spent three nights in Grand Uddhav hotel, New Delhi. I must say everything was excellent. We could easily reach VFS global for our visa process. The hotel room was very good, clean and comfortable. Coming to the food quality, it was superb and delicious. There was great customer service specially we must thank Mr.Aarish for his great hospitality and great customer service. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and professional service. The front desk team, especially Mr.Aarish was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I highly recommend The Grand Uddhav Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. I look forward to returning.

I came for my visa appointment and stayed here with my mom for one day. Room- decent and clean. Whole Hotel- excellent Staff- polite, helpful, professional. Facilities- excellent. Had fridge. Food in restaurant- excellent. Room size- decent. Not too big or ventilated. Luggage facility, extra facilities- excellent Location- midway between new delhi station and RK ashram. 10 mins walk from both side. Although location is in busy road but rooms are located inside so there is no disturbance in rooms. Autos are readily available. There are different shops right outside the hotel.

Value for money- I booked this place for all the good points i mentioned above. Rate could be little better. I payed 1670 for a non AC room booked via booking.com. Cleanliness- although toilet was super clean, there was continuous smell of bat/ bird poop in toilet collecting somewhere above false ceiling, which was super annoying.

Overall this hotel is good. Spacious room. This is close to VFS global, metro station, Connaught place, few main bazars and many more locations. Even though the hotel is situated inside of a Bazar, you don't hear much noise in the rooms. Some staff give their best to make sure their guests enjoy their staff. Specially Mr. Bajrul Rahman gave his best and really appreciated it. Breakfast didn't have much variety but it was very tasty. It had indian food and few international options.

Need more attention on maintenance of amenities. I got a bit of an old room in this hotel when I compared it with the other rooms in this hotel. So I had problems from the time I entered this hotel. yet, the maintenance team managed to fix a few, but they couldn't fix some.The entrance is not giving a wow factor, because the reception is in the hotel's car parking floor. Some staff are not very good with their jobs. You understand it especially when you understand Hindi but the staff doesn't know you do understand their language.

A very nice and friendly hotel with a personnel who really pampered us and offered us all the help and facilities we needed. It was like going back home from our various trips outside Delhi. A special mention for Harash, the very efficient, professional, helpful and reassuring receptionist. He went out of his way to help me find a doctor when my daughter got sick. He will be one of the best humane souvenirs we'll keep. The food was good with an efficient and caring staff and room service was good. I highly recommend a stay in this hotel at a stone's throwaway from Connaught place.

A real shelf wardrobe or open closet with shelves would be very practical. The bathroom needs refreshing.

All the food in the hotel was clean and served to us, the food was good and the price was fair. We had food with two kids.
