The hotel is classy and encompasses the essence of India whole heartedly. I was blown away by everything the hotel had to offer even with the issue of paint smell soon as we mentioned it to the staff they moved us to a bigger better room due to the inconvenience. Amenities and concierge were all very handy with mobile sim service and they were always happy to provide smaller notes for our convenience. Special treats like incense sticks were left in our room with personalised messages. The beds were soooo comfortable had the best sleeps! Fantastic stay at the Leela we will be retuning in the future!

We had an issue with the hallway being painted on our floor and there was some building work going on which didn’t go on for long.

From the moment we walked into the regal lobby, we were ensconced in a luxurious cocoon. Our plush and elegant Club room, the sumptuous breakfast buffet, our superb meals at Le Cirque & Megu restaurants - all these left an indelible mark. However, the excellent staff took the experience to the next level. Be it at the restaurants, the spa or even the check-in and check-out, we always felt a genuine warmth in their services. Nothing felt forced or ingratiating.

Nothing to dislike, but there was a minor issue.. We had booked this room considering the 'guaranteed late check-out' as mentioned on Booking.com. Late check-out is 2 PM. However, on the day of check-out, the receptionist called us at around 11 am and told us that this facility may not be available, as they had other bookings. Having said that, she then rechecked and got back to us with an apology, saying that it was possible a miscommunication between the hotel and Booking.com. We checked out at 2 pm and everything was conducted in a smooth manner.

Friendly, courteous and obliging staff. Royal Club Lounge excellent. Airport transfers very well done. Great breakfast...special mention to waiter, Kandan. Gorgeous property. Excellent housekeeping. Plenty of water in the room. Comfy bed.

For this standard of hotel, the attention to detail from the Concierge team was disappointing for independent travellers like us. Gaurav Tyagi, Assistant Manager helped out very well with our difficulties, but frustrating nontheless when one only has limited time. Be careful that the Booking.com "Total Price" does not include taxes at this hotel (differing to other similar hotels we stayed at in India)! Welcome on immediate arrival was not as 'special' as expected. Our room was below the 10th floor restaurant and noise of moving chairs/tables went well into the night/early morning. Other niggle...outside heaters not working properly at breakfast.

The Dinner Buffet has a lot of variety and is enjoyable even for longer stays. The kitchen staff also makes everything you want on request and chef Rahul also went out of his way to make me local specialities I should try.

Service can be a bit aggressive if you need/want to stay in your room - be sure to keep do-not-disturb on or you will constantly have people asking to clean, do evening service, check on cookies and fruit etc (some of which could be part of the same service) and even enter your room if you do not answer morning cleaning calls if you are in bed and forgot to turn on do-not-disturb.

We heard that Leela is not a hotel but a palace. It really is! I have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world, from LA to Beijing, but Leela excedeed all our expectations by far. We stayed at the Royal Club floor and made use of the Royal Club lounge several times with complimentary snacks & drinks. Special thanks to our butler Urvik. He made us feel like home and he did a great job to make us comfortable! Leela can be proud of him. I also want to thank Mahendra for the perfect cleaning of our room and all the friendly BMW drivers that drove us. The ambiance of Leela is stunning, but in combination with the staff it was a real memorable stay we won't forget. The food in the restaurants Jamavar and Le Cirque was truly delicious. You should try. We will become a yearly returning hotelguest of Leela. Why? Because this is a 6 star hotel, you simply can't find any better.

Whether it was a hearty breakfast or a gourmet dinner, the culinary offerings at the hotel left you thoroughly impressed. 4. The convenient location: Situated in a prime location, the hotel Perfect provided easy access to nearby attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. This convenience allowed you to explore the city with ease and make the most of your stay.

If you wish to have a luxury stay in Delhi, choose Leela Palace. Hotel is so beautiful and in very nice area. The service is excellent! Everyone is so attentive and nice, it feels like personnel can read your thoughts :D Natarul, our Room Attendant was a great help for us and so nice for us. Jasdeep hepled us out, when we nearly missed our train to Agra (Tour operator failed to pick us up). He arranged a taxi to train station after discussing our tour manager and we made it! In Leela the restaurants are also brilliant. Breakfast amazing and once again, the service excellent! Leela Palace and it’s staff made our Delhi vacation 10+ .

We only stayed one night at the Leela Palace New Delhi, but we were blown away by the experience and would definitely return if we come back to Delhi. The hotel is beautiful and the room's facilities were excellent (great shower pressure and hot water), but more importantly, the service was exceptionally warm, personal, and responsive, but not overly attentive (as we experienced elsewhere). We had booked a relatively basic-level room, but chose to add on royal club access because the cost also covered an airport transfer. We had a late-night flight on our check-out day and the hotel kindly accommodated our late check-out request. The royal club access was absolutely worth it because we used it for all our hotel meals and were able to stay there after check-out until we had to leave for the airport. Many thanks to Dolly and Poonam at the front desk and Rashi at the royal club who helped make our stay so special!

The dinner service at the restaurant Qube. The food was delisious but all the people that served us were not trained to match a proper 5 star hotel, nowhere even close..We had exactly the same bad experience 5 years ago and decided to give it a try with hopes that things changed. All 4 of us regretted having dinner served there.. The waiters bring the level down significantly. For example: we asked for lassi during appetisers and they were served it after our son was done with a main dish.. Waiter forgot to serve some food that we ordered, than poring a white wine was looking like a splash instead of 1/3 full. Extremely disappointed with service.
