Incredible location

It was as an incredible stay. However, a major concern was observing your bar staff (including manager) pouring back the uneaten mixed nuts that had been served as bar snacks at the tables, into the main jar and re-served. As I’m sure you understand this is the quickest method of giving food poisoning to the people staying at the hotel, which one from our group got during the stay. Something this of a small economic impact yet large impact to health is not what we would expect a 5-star hotel to partake in.

Beautiful large double room with stunning sea view (room upgrade was very appreciated). Good food quality both breakfast with huge variety and at C2C restaurant. Prompt loundry service. Rooftop pool was amazing although more sunbeds and better bar service are required (indeed rooftop bar wasn't open yet). Reception and restaurant staff were careful and highly professional; in fact they provided us professional driver for a couple of days with a good value for money. Nice sea view at Vanguinim beach, in front of Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage. We had a very tasty lunch at the Cafe de Azul Restaurant. Appreciated fast caddy transfer from the hotel.

5 stars hotel should have free wifi instead of wifi depending on check in room. (we checked in early morning at 7 am, so was difficult to use wifi at roof terrace till room check in at 11 am; only restaurant at ground floor was able to provide).

View from room was very good. Comfortable bed, super clean. Food was great - both taste and variety in buffet. However, limited vegeterian options in ala-carte. Provided complimentary food for baby. Private Beach was small but good but is located at Taj cidade de heritage so you have to take a shuttle to go the beach (will take 5 mins max though).

Toilet area in bathroom was small. There wasn't too much to do in the property itself so may not be great if you are looking for a resort to spend whole time inside the property.

I felt safe at all times. The staff (Fagun and Sakshi) made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The food was top notch. Each day the breakfast and dinner were a delectable spread. The rooms and facilities were fantastic with great attention to detail. The best part of staying at Horizon is that you can access the adjacent Heritage property's facilities as well, with a seamless shuttle between both resorts. The Jiva spa never fails to perform. I have used Jiva at several other Taj properties and the expertise across the board sets them apart. No other spa in Goa can hold a candle to the therapists' expertise. Worth every paisa! Special mention to Andy who was professional, mindful and sensitive to all my needs. A shout out to Christian and Krishnakanth in dining for being super sweet! Truly a 5 star experience!

Nothing at all, since I mostly relaxed on the property. But if I wanted to go out, perhaps I would factor in the distance from the places I need to go to. Mainly because Goa miles cabs are not easily available and one needs to rely on the hotel to book a car (which is more expensive). However, as a solo traveller, I preferred the hotel booked vehicles for added safety.

Our room was upgraded which was a great surprise as we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary

Indian food in Dinner buffet was too spicy for our comfort. Chineses, Italian was good

Location, ambience, food, professional staff. There were enough activities to keep us entertained as we could not go out due to heavy rain. The private beach is quite nice! The staff also helped me arrange a surprise which was nice. We also got an early check-in although it was not part of the package I booked. Thank you for that

The administration of the J wellness circle spa was not good. We were told there were no slots for the day. I told them that I am there for my marriage anniversary but they insisted there were no slots. The front desk/duty manager however helped me get a slot. I was quite disheartened with their negligence. It made me think that we were kept aside while there was a possibility to accommodate a slot for us. But, the actual spa services were quite good. Me and my wife really enjoyed it which eventually made us feel satisfied.

I absolutely adored everything about this property! From the staff to the location, to the food. It was all incredibly well done. The staff were so polite and friendly and helpful. Specifically, Christien in the dining area, who waited on us daily and with a smile. He knew what we liked and made sure we were well cared for. I let several managers know of his care. Austin also went out his way for us, too, and our driver Vinayak, on the first day who received us at the airport (I'm so sorry if I misspelled his name). He even remembered me on our last day and found us to wish us well as we left. The Taj, felt like home. They went above and beyond. Our room was spectacular, the pool was a little slice of heaven and the beach, well its private and there is no need to go anywhere else in Goa once you've seen this incredible and private beach. I loved that we could shuttle between the two properties and use all the facilities. This was a spectacular location. The buffet had so many options that suited all. Everything was impeccable, and the views from every angle also. Wow!! We had breakfast on the terrace daily with a view of the ocean. Dinners were leisurely, and a walk late at night on the beach was so soothing. The yoga terrace was also a nice surprise and a place to just take in the sounds of the ocean. They had car service available for decent price to explore all the sites. It was truly an expirence we will never forget. Thank you, Taj staff!! Truly India's best brand. I will think of this place as one of my dearest memories during my time in Goa. What an expirence!

This was our last night in India and also our anniversary, but it turned out to be the most beautiful experience ever! The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious and the amenities are the best that we have experienced so far also the staff especially Seemral, Himali, Aarti,Abdul, Deborath and Rohini are the most amazing and thoughtful staff I have ever seen. They gave us an amazing room and they decorated accordingly plus they brought us a small cake in our room to ensure we get the best of our day!! Really, if you come to Goa this is the best place you can find and trust me is more better than any tropical resort that we have seen so far!! + do not forget to try the CnC restaurant is the most delicious food in India!!

The hotel defines Taj Luxury - the views , the food and the amenities are all exemplary and spectacular. But despite the all stars the standout feature of the property is its service, everyone right from the Front desk staff to the GM is super focussed on making the stay of guests delightful. Special mention to Ms. Sakshi Vijayvargiya, she went above her call of duty to make me and my family feel welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Indian hospitality at its best.

Sumptuous food buffet, which featured a delightful selection of both local and international cuisines. From traditional Goan delicacies to international fare, the choices were impeccable. Also enjoyed our dinner at Alfama which is a nice Portuguese restaurant at Taj Cidade de Goa, Heritage which is adjacent to Taj Horizon and easily accessible through frequent shuttle services. What sets Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon apart is its child-friendly atmosphere. The resort boasts a range of excellent restaurants, offering diverse dining experiences. The impeccable hospitality, delectable food, breathtaking sea-facing room, and the personal touch of the staff made our trip memorable, and would highly recommend Taj Cidade De Goa.
