Staff was rude and felt service was not at 5 star level. Room was nice but there were couple bugs in room. Cochroch

The property has the best view one can get in Udaipur. Rooms are super comfy and well-maintained. The food was great as well. The hotel garden was easily accessible and it was great to spend your mornings and evenings there!! I would love to visit again in the coming years. The hotel has a limited number of rooms so the property never feels overcrowded which is a rare sight nowadays.

There is nothing to dislike. The choice of crockery during breakfast was not up to Lalit Standards, we were served things in steel bowls which looked very outdated and heavily used in the past. Also, the coffee mugs were not up to the standards of the Lalit.

Excellent spread for breakfast. Great welcome. Exterior of the Property maintained well . Manicured lawns and extremely well behaved staff. Clean mostly. They accommodated us with connecting rooms as we had booked two rooms for our family.

We asked for lake view and got that but the windows had bird poop before we got in the room. We had requested to clean it from outside but no one did. So we didn't really sit at the bench/ledge/diwan to enjoy the view and kept the Roman blind drawn. Shower faucet of our bathroom was broken and we had to hold on to it while showering. Toilet seat was very unstable.

Great location just by the Fateh Sagar lake, its a heritage property and the furnishing is quite exquisite and tasteful!! Views from the rooms were also very nice!! And the staff were excellent - there were some riots in the old city and the hotel staff went out and got some medicenes we needed - that was very nice :) breakfast and food in general was excellent!!

the property seems to be huge, why not build a swimming pool??

The history of the property, facilities, and the comfort of beautiful gardens as was the view of Lake Fateh Sagar from my spacious room. The Lalit is a wonderful place chill and retreat to from the hustle and bustle of Udaipur. There was also a great variety of delicious food to choose from !!

Some of the guests were a little noisy at night.

The BF was quite good and staff also were quite helpful in getting us freshly made stuff when we asked for it The service needs to be faster though

While the hotel its view , location are par excellence , the food taste and quality needs to be improved dramatically. Particularly , the Indian food needs a major overhaul

Nice & beautiful location looking at Fateh sagar lake. Garden offers nice walk and spacious. Very polite staff & ready to help all the time. Spacious rooms with lake view is exceptional.

Wash rooms should have better, not matching 5 star standard.

The view was great from the lawn. The staff was very helpful and polite. The Ghazal nights were amazing.

I liked everything, except some very minor cleanliness and maintenance issues which were solved really swiftly by the hotel.

The service and the location

Could be made more sound resistant. As one could hear people talking outside on the corridor and also in some cases where you are in the corridor you could hear the people inside the room

Service, location and rooms were all excellent. Prompt response for any issue we had in room. Mr. Nafis the manager was excellent and personally took responsibility to have our bags sent to the airport so that we could do some shopping after checkout and then head to the airport directly
