This historical haveli is beautiful, well renovated, and exceptionally clean. The price point is very reasonable for such a unique stay. The haveli is also centrally located -- I walked everywhere during my whole stay (jagdish temple, bagore ki haveli, city palace, etc.). I also had dinner at the rooftop restaurant overlooking the city. The food was delicious, the prices fair, and the service was great! The staff at the hotel also helped me to book a very early morning rickshaw on the day of my departure to ensure that I didn't miss my bus. Overall a lovely stay!

This hotel is an old typical haveli restored with traditional material, with also an eco friendly approach. The staff is very nice

The staff were so friendly and genuinely invested in making guests feel comfortable and happy during their stay. Suni the manager went out of his way to address any issues and all individuals were courteous, kind and keen to please. My room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast served on roof terrace with sweeping views of the city. Location perfect in the old town and couple of minutes walk to Lake Pichola.

Road outside hotel under construction at the moment so very messy walk to entrance but in due course will be improved. Small problem regarding payment when checking out but reception endeavoured to resolve. Might be worth confirming price of room on arrival. I changed my dates couple of times which may have caused the confusion.

It's one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed in. The service and communication was excellent from booking to pre arrival to stay and checkout. All the service staff were polite and always willing to help in every way possible. The rooms were absolutely clean with nice comfortable beds and an exquisite bathroom. The property itself was lovingly restored with the old world charm and the modern amenities making our stay a wonderful experience.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about Madri Haveli. I would just like to add that an exhaust in the bathroom would have been a welcome addition.

This is a gorgeous place! It's in the old town, walking distance from the city palace. It was wonderful to start each day on their calm rooftop restaurant that serves a great breakfast, enjoying views over the city and the lake. The decor inside is just divine, especially the old wooden doors which are beautiful. The rooms were on the small side but that's expected in this part of town, and what they lack in size they make up in awesome character and confort. Highly recommended.

Everything ranging from the style, quality & ambience of my room to ever -cooperative & helpful staff at all levels. This also included the quality & relative quantity of the breakfasts especially as well at the hotel's proximity to many of the major tourist destinations to be found in Udaipur.

The was absolutely nothing that I could identify from my recent stay there that was negative from my perspective. My only other comment would be that for more elderly tourists and/or those with a disability then the non-existence of a lift could make staying there a challenge particularly as all meals are served on the rooftop restaurant. However for me at the age of 68, it did not present a problem.

The hotel is little but charming and the rooms are very beautiful. We got an upgrade and the bathroom was very big and had 2 sinks, a big shower and a bathtub. The reception was open 24/24 and ready to meet your requests. The breakfast was delicious and the waiters very polite. The restaurant on the terrace has a magnificent view of Udaipur and the food served is tasty and cheap. Laundry service was provided. The manager helped us in booking a train ticket to Jaipur.

The garden was not open and the shower has hot water only at some point during the day, but even at the right time It can be considered cold. If the weather outside is not sunny and hot it is a bit difficult to take a pleasant shower, but honestly the rest was so perfect that we didn't even complain at it

Madri Haveli is an incredible space, we stayed in the junior suite and couldn’t believe how comfortable and unique it was. The staff were always super friendly and we felt very well taken care of, we could not have asked for more from our stay. The roof terrace where we ate some delicious meals has excellent panoramic views of Udaipur, it’s lakes and the rolling hills beyond. The hotel is peaceful but also very well located, the City Palace is easily walkable as are some excellent restaurants and markets. The waterfront is close and the area felt safe to walk at night. Big thanks again to the staff, we would come back to Udaipur just to stay at the Madri Haveli again.

Fabulous haveli experience, converted with the most beautiful taste, for a very reasonable price. Such a calming space after exploring the Golden Triangle. Super clean and modern whilst retaining traditional character of a historic royal building. Loved the stone bathroom and simple natural interiors. Staff were brilliant - served me delicious banana pancakes with fresh juice and masala chai for breakfast within 10 mins of ordering on the terrace over the rooftop/lake view. Perfect location in the old town to walk to all sites. Uber will drop you 5 mins away by the bridge on edge of old town. Even had a message on site for 13000 rupees. Didn't want to leave! Book without hesitation.

A short and sweet stay at this property! It's a beautiful haveli that retains the olden spirit with modern amenities. We loved the rooms with glass stained windows and the staff were very sweet. They let us keep our luggage even after we checked out. It is situated in a narrow street but we personally liked that about the property since all places were accessible by walk. They even help you in making an itinerary for the day.
