Our stay of 5 nights with our 7 year old at the beach view suite was superb! The suite has all the facilities one needs, including a tub, 2 TVs, study table area for logging into work, a huge living room and balcony and the view of the gardens and beach is gr8! Calming and peaceful. Tx to Delvin, Devaraj and their manager Peter for helping us have clean and supported rooms with our kid for a stress-free vacation. Breakfast - Lavish buffet with good options for healthy and veg food too. Again the melting pot restaurant is calm and peaceful. Staff like Kiran do a fab job of taking ownership and catering to our every little need. The managers and other staff like Vicky, Dharani and srilakshmi are courteous and helpful. We loved our meals here. Club privileges at the lounge between 5-7 pm were also good. The spa is beautiful and we had a lovely experience with Nisha, Vily and Asbin. Swimming pool is naturally warm due to the heavy dose of Mahabalipuram sun and is a beautiful place with temple trees all around! Concierges with Govind, Amit Rai, and the team do a gr8 job! Suresh at welcome is amazing in terms of his energy and very welcoming in his attire, behaviour and communication. Head of reception Souvik and his team are great and speedy in their attendance to guests. They also are super accommodating when it came to our kids requirements and as much as possible will go out of their way to make the stay a fantastic memory for all customers. thanks you all and keep up the great work. we want to meet you all soon. OVERALL EVERY ONE OF THE STAFF ARE COURTEOUS, KID-FRIENDLY, HARDWORKING AND HELPFUL. THIS WAS REALLY GOOD TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE.

Definitely, cleanliness of the hotel and the lotus ponds can be improved. Since it is a large property with massive open spaces, almost like a heritage castle, it might be difficult to keep all corners clean but the property should get more staff and aim for better cleanliness. It took us a day to adjust to the place and we could afford that as we had a 5 night long stay. Suggestion: Hotel could add 1 day sightseeing at nominal charges to the shore temples, lighthouse and crocodile park. this would be great for moms with kids and seniors.

The Location is great and it has direct access to a public beach. The rooms were all nice and clean and the East Coast Suite which we took was quite large and spacious. The staff are always ready to assist you and the quality of service overall is excellent. The Spa at the resort was also terrific.

The food could have been a little better. I remember the last time we went there, they had a different chef and the food was really quite good, but this time it was not the case. I wouldn't say the food was bad, it wasn't bad by any means, but certainly could have been better

The hotel is very clean, food is very tasty and there r lot of varieties in the buffet, staff are prompt in responding to ur requests. The main attraction is the excellent beach which is very clean with a nice restaurant on the beach side. A security is always on duty at the beach. Another good thing is the layout of the rooms facing the lily pond with a mini staircase leading to each rooms which gives us a homely feel. It doesn't feel like a routine hotel with rooms inside enclosed corridors. The place is always calm and tranquil. The rooms r also very spacious with bathtub as well as the usual shower and lavatory which r in 2 sperate rooms. The room is divided into 3 parts beginning with a couch in the first part, the main room in the second part and the wardrobe and rest rooms in the end. Each r separated by curtains. The walk to the beach from the hotel is a pleasant one with well maintained lawns and trees. This was my 3rd visit and my wife absolutely likes this hotel. I too enjoy it every time.

The lily pond needs to be maintained. It was good during my previous 2 visits but this time it was not clean but the staff told that it's under maintenance. The shower gel, conditioners etc. Can be given in seperate small bottles instead of refillable ones. The in room dining menu is limited and needs to be improved.

A nice breakfast, Wow Drunch and it's varieties. Courteous staffs.

1) Algae in the water pond is VERY UGLY. Not sure about the plan of the hotel. 2) Buffet restaurant can be little bigger to cater the customer during full house. 3) I have booked 5 rooms through booking.com which was registered in the hotel as 5 different guests. I could have explained such details at least 10 times during the call with the hotel staff. Why your staff is not making a note of it so that when the next staff calls the customer they are aware of it? It's a waste of customer and hotel staff time.

Food The Melting Pot breakfast was good, wide spread, variety of selections and tastes good as well. Tao of Peng has decent Chinese cuisine, staff were friendly and suggested best dishes for tryout. Appreciate that. Kokommo Beach Shack was alright cause it started drizzling and did not manage stay long. Pizzas were good. Beach Easy access to beach, acceptably clean. Staff Greeted exceptionally well during arrival. Staffs were extremely friendly and accommodative. Really appreciate the effort by Suresh(meet & greet), Dainy (front desk), Govind (concierge), Davie (head of housekeeping for making the towel art for the kid), Tao of Peng staff from Calcutta for suggesting the delicious Crisp Cheung Fun, staff at Recreation Room and literally everyone. Property Beautiful and Clean. Loved the spacious room & bath. Kid enjoyed the facilities.

We enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing holiday. We loved the pool! The water of the pool was very soothing. Our 9 year old son made new friends at the pool and had a lot of fun. The desserts at the Melting Pot buffet were delicious. I had a wonderful spa experience: great back massage by Totmaya. Highly recommend. The weather was beautiful the room was spacious and had everything one needs to feel comfortable. The New Years gala at the beach shack Kokomo was perfect: nice breeze, beautiful music and lots of food and drink and great service. Great housekeeping and very good service at the breakfast buffet in Melting pot restaurant.

I would have liked to have a life guard at the beach to feel more safe.

The staff is the best part of this stay. They go beyond to help their guests and are very accommodating and make you feel at home in their hotel. From the F&B manager to the Spa manager Monica who was very lovely to her team and the welcome team we were taken care off in a rigorous manner. Thank you very much for the lovely stay! The facilities were clean, the room was cozy and had a very comfortable bed with thick curtains to blind off any light. The pool was great as the current of the sea was a bit too much to relax in during our stay.

The property was well maintained and the staff was excellent (almost). The staff were excellent especially at the Melting Pot restaurant. The breakfast spread was great as was the dinner buffet. Chef Shivaratan, Rakesh Kumar and Sree were very attentive and responsive. Loved the Kokomo shack restaurant

Although we did not have a great experience checking in as it took almost 1 hour owing to some system issue.
