We stayed at the Shelter Beach Resort, the stay was very comfortable and the ambiance was excellent. The resort has private access to the beach that is the added advantage. It is a good spot for playing at the beach and for family gatherings/ parties. They had separate swimming pool for kids and adults. The rooms were so clean and tidy. We had variety of cuisines. The food was very good. The staffs were very courtesy and very helpful. We had a very peaceful stay and truly enjoyed every moment at the resort. The garden was well maintained. The whole resort was greenery and quiet. There was no insects inspite of so many trees. They had a very spacious outdoor games for kids. The indoor games room had all the facilities. On the whole we truly had a wonderful vacation and looking forward to come back soon.

Suggestions are below: Main door of the room to have a safety chain at a higher level so that kids will not go out as they like. Toilet ventilator to have net to prevent mosquitoes and insects entry.

Though we stayed for a day, we liked this small, cozy and comfortable resort. The rooms too seem to have been renovated recently. Since we had to check out early, much before the breakfast time, the dining staff went out of their way to provide us with quick breakfast,

Not sure why they didn't provide alcoholic drinks. It would have added to the amenities / restaurant. They can always have checks and balances in case of misuse / disturbances. Families visit such resorts for relaxing.

1. The location - lots of greenery, close proximity to beach, smooth check-in & check out and of course great food. 2. IPL live over a large screen, seated in open lawn with dinner. 3. Mango trees, green lawns on the beach front

1. The room curtains need to be thicker - not to let bright sunlight enter the room and also help the room cool faster 2. The placement of TV can be shifted so that it's bang opposite the bed 3. A 2 way switch to control light from the bed side 4. Bed lamp to be provided

The highlight of our stay was the extremely helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to make us (a British couple visiting India) feel welcome. The staff at Reception helped us with whatever we needed and the staff in the restaurant were so charming. They explained all of the menu to us and helped us pick some delicious choices! Our room was also great, very spacious and clean with all the facilities you would expect. The pool is also very large and well maintained.

The AC in our room could have been a bit cooler.

Room was good sea view. Some materials like cot was old wood but otherwise comfort was good. Can't expect like ultra modern new houses like intercontinental or Sheraton grand but a good resort with good rooms in sea side. Lawn is well maintained and proximity to beach is there. Staff were very friendly and took care of us well.

I think the resort is spacious, the rooms are good, the staff also is very good. Very good room service.

In the bathroom, there is no space between the wash basin and the toilet commode which makes wash basin useless. It's a Design issue.

Location is good with access to private beach. Rooms are adequate in size and clean. The entire resort has been recently painted and maintained well. Staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay pleasant. Adequate place for private parking.

Room service is slow. The TV in the rooms are small and apart from some Tamil channels, there is not much to choose from. Breakfast was more or less the same on the two days we stayed. The live counters were the best especially the dosas.

The room was spacious ! Comfortable ! The property itself is soo spacious and a very good place for photography! Bed and pillows were so comfy The tv/ac was also very good. The WiFi connection was amazing ! The door lock system was a brilliant idea ! The toilet facilities were also very good Private beach maintenance were also good !

The food's price is way too expensive, also the quantity of the food/fresh juice is not upto the pice charged .. Tea and coffe was sooo bad !!! (Too expensive) All the used food plates were placed on the guests / apartment staircase for a very long time , with rotten food and flys on it seems to get bad impression for the new guests arriving , it would be nice if they are cleaned in few minutes or atleast don't place them on the staircase please !!

The location of the resort was excellent, right on the East Coast road with direct access to the beach. The rooms were comfortable, food was good, including the complimentary breakfast with lot of items to choose from. The property is just a hundred metres or so away from the crocodile bank.

Breakfast was good & arrangements were well taken care of.

Toilet flush was not working. Only after we checked in,it was repaired. Breakfast was good but as it was arranged outside, crows were continuously coming & sitting near to the food. There was very few staff available. Even the restaurant orders took time due to non availability of full staff.
