After making my initial booking, I did upgrade my room to have a view. I am so glad I did this as the room had a full wall window with a fantastic view. The room was large and very comfortable. I ate in the restaurant for 3 evenings and there was a good choice of food and option of a buffet. The food was very good. The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful. The hotel is a short journey from Shimla (5-10 minutes in a taxi). I had done my research on taxi prices before leaving the UK and the taxi fare was always at the expected price and very available both ways.

The main neg was that booking.com misled when they said the hotel was just 2.7 km from the start of main Shimla like victory tunnel. That might be how the crow flies but in reality google maps says 4km or 5km to the ridge . Moreover the road from the hotel to main Shimla was main road choc block with traffic not even a sidewalk most of the time. It’s manageable with taxis but not walkable and on the way back had no idea how to even get a taxi as there were no visible stands or taxi markings - the locals all use their mobiles to call them. The hotel could have warned us or made some arrangement ended up trudging back on the above in the freezing rain

The location is something for which I chose this place. Right on the main road and no one has to walk any stairs to reach this place. Secondly the rooms are very good with lot of space and amenities. The Deluxe rooms have good views and they are comfortable.

The restaurant staffs are lousy. Its said that they dont serve hard drinks but one can bring their own and drink it on the restaurant balcony. However I saw a staff who was bringing drinks for a table and was continuously glued to that table. Even, that staff didnt take orders from other table properly and we had to wait for a long time to get our food. Also the breakfast menu is not up to the mark. Was very disappointed to see their breakfast spread.

very very expensive according to property rooms and facility small rooms . charge 11000 from me 01 night third class view outside other building back side dirty walls … staff is money minded no support from staff we need to sleep on extra bed in winters when we booked mentioned double room on their website after paid they it’s double bed room only …what a smart cheating style .. truly make our your disappointed and uncomfortable after paid max amount ..

Amazing stay wonderful staff extra thanks to front office guyz kartik, Mukesh & Dheeraj they helped during check in & guiding about local sight seeing. Rooms wuz spacious, neat & clean. Heating system in room wuz excellent & easily operated by remote attached near bed syd. In dinner I had buffet which has a lot of items at reasonable price. I also enjoyed bonfire in the evening on the open terrace. Möring breakfast wuz very gud and lot of variety. Highly recommend the travelers who are coming by their town vehicles as they have very gud parking space. Needless to mention here that dormitory wuz arranged near to hotel at a very nominal price of Rs200. Will surely visit again. Thanks snow valley team.

One of the best staff and management i have ever visited ...the food was awesome and staff was very polite and courteous...i opted for breakfast buffet and trust me every dish was delicious and a lot of variety was there. room was spacious and warm. Centrally heated rooms was main advantage and i booked after reading reviews and must say well managed hotel. Bon fire on open terrace was icing on the cake. Parking was easily available and location is one of the best in shimla. I Recommend this hotel to all solo travellers, couples and families. Will surely visit soon.

everything was perfect

A good hotel for families. Clean, spacious rooms with lot of amenities. Very helpful staff especially Jitender Kalet,Kartik & Diksha at reception & Restaurant staff Chetan Thakur & restaurant manager personally looks after their guests. Clean hotel with well maintained corridors & lifts. Beds are very comfortable for a good sleep after tiring tourist day. Very good food available at better prices than main town restaurants. Really good chef there! Breakfast & Dinner buffet was very good! Loved their special Ginger masala tea ! Scenic Himalayan views from glass windows.

Nothing! Loved staying there!

The resort is good. But the facilities are not maintained well. We asked to change the room to get better cure 3. They promised, but never fulfilled. Did not even say that room is not available. But they helped well with the travel itinerary within the city. View is good from the resort. Breakfast is good.

1. Facilities maintenance, like play area. They can give some attention to it. - TT bats were completely torn. Ball was damaged - ice hockey power connection was broken - carrom board was rough All in all, games section we could not use properly. 2. Staff response to room change was not positive 3. Canopy was broken, but staff were not keen to repair or replace it. 4. Mini refrigerator and kettle were not operating 5. House keeping was average in room cleaning

This hotel was mostly vacant as we travelled in rainy flood season. But everyone of the staff was so amiable better than lots of other 5 star I stayed. I will always remember the hospitability and will try to come again.

We had buffet breakfast and dinner but we got free Ala carte as there were very few guests. but its totally reasonable

Room was good. It was huge and maintained well. The staff was very good. Kind and considerate staff. Food was tasty.

The location is far away from the city. Little secluded. Lot of noise from housekeeping staff in and around the room. Construction work inside the hotel was disturbing. Wifi is very weak. No balcony.
