It was super quiet location, beds were hard like a futon mattress other than that it was gorgeous, super friendly staff, little cafe quaint, pool was cool with squirrel friends and a lizard :-)

The villa, the breakfast and the staff were all fantastic.

This was our first time to Bali so we didn’t know what to expect, but the traffic was incredibly busy at certain times of the day. To get 10kms took 1hr in the car with an expert driver who knew the route.

We stayed at Umalas Suites for two weeks, and it was a wonderful stay. The room (1br suite) was spacious, and an additional rollaway bed was provided on request. The place was clean, beautiful, comfortable, light filled and lovely and cool. There was a great selection for breakfast, and it was all tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they brought a hanging rack for our wet clothes and towels as soon as we asked, and sent someone to repair our dripping air conditioner without even being asked. The location was convenient for us, and walking distance to a few warungs. (Eko cafe - so good!!) I highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again if we’re back in Umalas. The property is also shady and quiet!! Wonderful qualities that can be difficult to find in this area! Great value for money!

A toilet hose would have been nice. 🙂 Also there’s not much hanging space for towels and wet clothes, but the staff brought us a rack on request, so that wasn’t a problem for us. Honestly there was very little to complain about - everything was great!

Amazingly friendly staff. Very well maintained facilities. The room we got (2 bedroom suite) was spacious and comfortable. The staff lent us their power adapter so we could use our phone chargers without needing to buy new hardware. The staff helped us by sharing local information too.

• The breakfast was tasty, but the options were fairly limited. To their credit, the staff customised the breakfast according to our preferences, so I had some variety in breakfast in the 4 nights we stayed there. • The location is a few hundred metres away from the main road. Not a huge deal, but people who don't like to walk may find this suboptimal.

Great hotel, great breakfast spread and great pool. The rooms are modern and very large - they had a little table and closet that you could put belongings in. The hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but there were some aggressive stray dogs that stayed right by the small street that the hotel was down, so we didn't feel comfortable walking in and out of the hotel, but most of Bali is not made for walking. There was a driveway so our cars/motos would drive down the driveway to pick us up/drop us off.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The suite was comfortable and everything that we need. The place was very well kept. Their breakfast menu was very healthy and well prepared as well as their lunch menu.

There is nothing that I didn't like. My stay was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and catered to all my needs. Unfortunately there restaurant only cater for breakfast and lunch but it was so well located that you could walk to the nearest restaurant.

We arrived and were warmly welcomed by lovely smiley staff. Check in was very quick and easy, and we were shown to our room within minutes. Frustratingly, we were taken to a suite/apartment different to the one we had selected and booked on Booking.com. Pretty typical of Bali where you're shown photos of one thing and get something completely different. However, whilst we initially felt annoyed by that, we considered what we had and made it work for us. Whilst of course sorting a reasonable, fair and rightful discount with Booking.com, who I have to say, their support, unlike Airbnb who take 3 plus days to even acknowledge a request, then another 3 plus days to deal with it, as well as drag you through the ringer and cause even more stress during your getaway, Booking.com dealt with our matter very swiftly and within a matter of hours. We truly appreciated that! We actually had a lovely apartment - bright, clean, well decorated, and spacious (although not as big as what we originally chose and booked! We were expecting a large kitchen area with the island in the middle, in which we were excited to finally do some cooking of our own. Instead we had a small kitchenette section against the wall) so we didn't do any cooking. They have a good sized smart TV but you can't seem to get Netflix on it. However, we connected our laptop to an HDMI lead and got it to work just fine. There is a daily clean with lovely staff who make up your bed and do a clean, sweep and mop of the apartment. There's hot water woohoo! Sounds crazy to rave about that but there are many places that only have cold showers 🥶 The staff are truly on the ball with regards to your needs. If you need new towels or toilet paper, etc, you'll get it within minutes. The pool area is intimate, and the pool itself refreshing. The surrounding area has a few restaurants and cafes to choose from which was great.

They need to buy new pillows (some of them are stained), as well as pillow protectors.

Property was clean, and breakfast was good, it was a little bit hard to find and out of the way, but otherwise a good location away from the bustle. It’s more in the Canggu area rather than Seminyak. All in all we enjoyed our stay and the staff were very welcoming.

We would of preferred to be closer to Seminyak square and the shops but that was on us as we didn’t research the areas properly.

The great service and excellent staff makes the stay in Umalas Suites a perfect break in the noisy Bali. We extended our stay a few times. We just couldn´t leave this place. Zero noise around in the night. Slept so well during my stay :) Te room was huge, the cleanliness top. We had to ask the staff not to tidy up the room every day. The pool in the back of the villa is good extra to relax by and avoid the heat of the afternoon. A great plus is the breakfast with fresh juice, nice coffe and tasty food. Very healthy optins if you like-need it.
