Casa Azzurra exceeded my expectations: - Quiet central location providing a peaceful retreat - Warm and friendly owners making us feel welcome and at home throughout our stay - Delicious & unlimited breakfast with an Italian touch (home made bread & pesto, Mokka coffee) - Free bikes for convenient exploration - Lovely decorated rooms and reliable air conditioning - Refreshing small pool - Valuable local recommendations for restaurants - Cute cats - Mini fridge stocked with water, soft drinks, beer at reasonable price - Sabrina is making jewelry and I got to pick a pair of earrings as a welcome gift. A fantastic stay, highly recommended!

We liked everything. Two small improvements to make the next stay even better: - Additional drying rack in the front would be great. - A water dispenser to refill bottles to avoid plastic.

First - very friendly owners and staff. Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome, with a fresh juice and explanation about the island. It's around 10-15 min walk from the harbor. For further movement on the island the owner provides bicycles for free (there are no cars or scooters on the island). Great choice on tasty breakfast, pool available. The accomodation itself is very stylish and new, outside bathroom was a new experience for us but we totally liked it. On the bed there is a net so you don't have to be afraid of i.e. mosquitos in the night. We have prolonged by one night, unfortunatelly the another night was fully booked, would love to stay a bit longer. If it's your 1st time on the island stay at least 2 nights, there's a lot to do. It's around 30mik walk from one side to another, you reach all the shops, bars, restaurants, beaches etc. by foot or bike in few minutes.

This property was absolutely perfect and looks exactly like the photos. The island is great and the accommodation is in a good location, with easy access to the island. Breakfast was fantastic, really great food. In the accommodation itself, it was stunningly clean and everything worked. I was greeted at the harbour and helped with my suitcases. I also had other questions about facilities on the island which were answered swiftly. I stayed for three nights and this is by far, my favourite accommodation of my one month trip to south east Asia.

Their genuine care and hospitality truly elevated the experience. Casa Azzure, coupled with such remarkable hosts, made my visit to Gili Air an unforgettable one. From the moment Claudio greets you at the harbour to the moment you leave, Claudio and his beautiful wife Sabrina will do anything possible to make your stay with them one to remember. There are only 2 bungalows plus the owners on the property. The swimming pool is a good size and the bungalows have everything you need. Loved the outdoor bathroom. Breakfast is amazing. there are plenty of choices. Free bikes are available for your use. It is located in the middle of the island, and no more than a 10 minute walk in any direction will take you to a beach. We stayed for 14 nights and didn't want to leave.

I and my husband had an amazing time staying at Casa Azzurra. It had everything I could wish for. Kind and friendly host/staff, cute cats, nice swimming pool, clean room and delicious breakfast they offer. The location was also perfect. It's in the middle of the island making it easier to reach anywhere quickly. (You can borrow bicycles from them) It was so peaceful and I would definitely come back when I come back to Gili A. Don't look further, this place is a real gem.

The hosts, Claudio and Sabrina, were incredible. Top notch hospitality and felt like I was welcomed into their own home (technically true since they also live on the premises). Help was available whenever I needed it, but my privacy was also respected. They also had a few little hosts in the form of the most adorable cats on the island! The facilities were clean and well maintained, WIFI was good. Breakfast was included and you could choose from an amazing spread every day. I would definitely return if I come back to Gili Air. Grazie mille!!

Casa Azzurra is the best accommodation we had during our Bali/Lombok trip. Indeed this lovely Italian couple makes the difference in the details: pick-up at arrival, great breakfast with taste of love, tasteful decoration with a mix of Italy and Indonesia, a lot of explanations and recommendations about the islands at check-in… + you must stay there if you love cats! In short, they made us feel home as soon as we arrived, but like a wonderful home.

Bikes are included with the room, which is really convenient, but they don’t brake… the sand on gili air roads will slow you down anyway ;)

Casa Azzura is th most beautiful little sanctuary on gili air. It has everything you need, want and more. If you like to travel with flair, beauty and hospitality, Casa Azzura will deliver on all levels. The accommodation is perfectly clean (and I'm fussy), has a cosy Italian/greek/gili feel to it. Sabrina and Claudio and their wonderful helper(sorry I forgot his name) are very helpful and understand hospitality to a tee. Breakfast is next level, you won't get anything comparable. I got a little unwell towards the end, Sabrina and Claudio made sure I was okay and the accommodation delivered, especially feeling under. Thankyou Casa Azzura, I will be back with the family one day soon ♡

The only « bad thing » for us was not being able to stay longer ! We enjoyed a lot our stay at Casa Azzurra. Sabrina and Claudio are wonderful hosts. Super great to discuss with them. Gili Air is a nice little island without any car, only a few electric scooters, everything is very close so walking or riding a bicycle is great and local people are nice. There is only 2 bungalows at Casa Azzurra, it’s a quiet place, very clean and comfortable, good AC, hot and constant water, bicycles included with the room, nice and clean swimming pool, and above all there is an excellent big breakfast with lots of choice ! Do not hesitate a second, it’s really worth it.
