A Perfect Stay in Ubud – Highly Recommended! Our stay at this boutique hotel in Ubud was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was the very best. Putu and Meets were especially outstanding—resourceful, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room itself was perfect—incredibly comfortable, and a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. Despite being just steps away from the busy streets the hotel was wonderfully quiet, offering the best of both worlds. Breakfast was a highlight, delicious options to start the day right. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making our stay truly memorable. Our only regret? We couldn’t extend our stay because the hotel was fully booked—a testament to how fantastic this place is! If you’re visiting Ubud, I highly recommend staying here.

The front entrance is only really accessible by foot, but there is a street-level rear entrance that's very easy to use. This could be made clearer in the comms, perhaps.

I made a last minute booking at the hotel based on online reviews, and it surpassed my expectations. This is a beautiful boutique hotel, with lots of beautiful design touches, and wonderful, personalized service. My room had high ceilings, beautiful decorations, and - most impressive - a patio with its own private pool. My morning breakfast was delivered to my room so I could dine poolside, which made for a very serene experience. Great location too - conveniently located near downtown Ubud, but you don't have to walk far to find more tranquil areas. One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at... and excellent value!

The only thing I can think of is that the water in the pool (the one on my patio) was very cold, so I didn't really end up using it, but I still enjoyed dipping my feet and relaxing out there.

Staying at 11 on Kajeng was nothing short of exceptional. We stayed in the beautiful Botanical Suites, which offered a serene and luxurious environment that perfectly complemented the charm of Ubud. The attention to detail in both the design and service was outstanding, truly showcasing the hotel’s commitment to an authentic Balinese experience. The breakfast offerings were a highlight, with their yummy smoothie bowls leaving a lasting impression—I’m still craving them! The staff’s warm hospitality added to the overall experience, ensuring every moment felt special. To top it all off, I was surprised with a rose and a thoughtful card on Mother’s Day, making my stay even more memorable.

Not sure there’s enough room to say how wonderful everything was. We would highly recommend the in Villa Massages and the Private Evening Seafood Meal that was prepared and served to us in our Villa. The breakfasts were always freshly prepared and arrived on time. They also organised a full day and a half day tour for us, we had the same driver on both occasions who spoke great English and was very happy to accommodate our whims. All the staff were AMAZING, always happy to help with a smile. Would highly recommend the private Villa with its own pool, a really special place. 😊

Charming boutique hotel in central Ubud, yet it is serene and very quiet. Location is ideal for those you want quick access to the art market, shops and general hustle of Ubud yet would like to retire to their secret garden at Kajeng at night. I stayed in the Botanical Suite for four nights. it was stylishly decorated in Vintage Bali style and each piece of furniture, art and decor had been thought about from an interior designer’s lens. You could easily spend an hour just admiring what’s in the room, from the flower arrangement of birds of paradise to the chic paintings to the antique furniture. The nicest thing about this hotel are the staff. Mertha and his team will spoil you throughly with delicious breakfasts and sorting out anything you may need.

Three things to note: the hotel is very chic but I found the price point for the Botanical Suite quite high for what you get and compared to other accommodating of similar standing. You may get a good deal off season, in which case, by all means stay here. But were I to travel again during high season, I would reconsider. I visited during rainy season when the main road leading out of the hotel and towards the art market can get flooded so be prepared to walk through pools. There is another exit though. Finally, the hotel doesn’t have an on site restaurant. so if you’re not up for going out for meals after breakfast, you’ll have to download and install local food delivery apps.

We stayed a week at 11 on Kajeng, taking a much needed break in Ubud, and booked the Sunset Premier Villa (breakfast included). It was a little slice of paradise, entirely private, with our own pool and koi pond. The villa is big, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, with a very comfortable patio looking over the private pool and garden. The bed was wonderful, very comfortable. All the facilities you expect from a high end hotel, but much more personal. The service here is exceptional, we organised massages, day trips and so on through the wonderful staff, who are unfailingly friendly and helpful. Situated in the middle of Ubud, just near the market, so it's very convenient, but the hotel is an oasis of peace from the busy streets. We spent quite a bit of time just hanging out in our beautiful villa. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a break in the warm weather! Staff are helpful , polite, accommodating and friendly . The location is perfect , in a walking distance from Ubud Palace , Kajeng rice field path and Ubud Water Palace . Also very quiet . I stayed in one of the botanical suites , it was very clean with a nice interior design and a comfortable bed .

Very small boutique hotel with few rooms , so in a low season like January , it can happen to be the only guest for one night or so , and as a solo female traveler , sometimes did not feel safe at night when staff are not around from 12:00 mid night till 7:00 am , however it might not be an issue for some people . Also my room was quite dim so it made it a bit difficult to read before going to sleep .

A big shoutout to this wonderful boutique hotel. The location was ideal, within walking distance to the center, front and back entrances (be sure to enter via the back if you are being dropped off vs the front with steep stairs), comfortable accommodations, and the breakfast was incredible - taken poolside. We rented one of the bungalows and the setting was peaceful. The staff was helpful and we appreciate the breakfast bag for our early departure. Thank you for all you do.

Classy building, aesthetic taste in the details. Located in the quiet upper corner but downstairs with everything you need e.g spa, convenience store, shop, money exchange, foods, culture display of textiles…etc. feeling safe even return at late night. Professional services and lovely staffs with passion. They took initiative to ask my needs and transport before my arrival and replied my question for dinner information in prompt manner. My friend and I were being taken good care like having a butler, staffs were supportive to assist in arrangements of cars, booking of tour, recommendations of itinerary, smart tips of how to reserve the best restaurant in town with frequent update and response even in late afternoon. Everything is more than expectations. Tone of the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.
