Pool is excellent. Staff is amazingly kind and helpful. Location is a bit remote, outside of Ubud. You need a taxi or shuttle to get to the centre. The Balinese restaurant is superb, lots of vegetarian options.

Be mindful that the hotel is located a bit outside of Ubud, and that you will need a taxi or shuttle to reach the centre. The hotel offers a shuttle (free of charge) 4 times a day, which is helpful.

Excellent staff who were quick and attentive, always friendly! Beautiful property, pool, and facilities - spa and gym were small but sufficient. Restaurants are both great, underrated! Changing breakfast menu daily means you’re never bored.

Owing to the stunning location, there are a lot of bugs, bring mosquito repellent. The property is a bit dated and deserves a refresh. Monkeys are a nuisance- be careful!

Alila Ubud , Clam and away from busy traffic. One will enjoy the nature and calmness. We have stayed here for 4 Nights in December, Property is neat and tidy, Cosy Beds. Front desk is helpful, they will arrange all transports Taxi services etc. Taxi service is bit expense. Food is good as per Indonesia local style. Food can be improved in Breakfast with much variety. Would recommend to everyone.

More frogs at property , i can understand its located in Farm Fields. But we can spot inside Rooms as well. Property should take care of this before guest arrives. Room 115

Spotlessly clean and well equipped rooms. Nice, competent staff. A jungle valley view we could not get enough of. Plenty of beautiful rice fields to walk in nearby.

The whole resort is a little outdated, and the rooms do not look like typical Hyatt rooms, but average 4stars. Except for the restaurant and pool area the hotel lacks charme and places to relax and enjoy the beautiful jungle view. One could do much more with the truly spectacular location. The breakfast and cabana lounge portions are very, very small and therefore overpriced for what you get. Expect appetizer size when you order a main!

Nice hotel out of busy Ubud (liked the tranquility; hotel shuttle made it easy to go to Ubud if wanted though). Pool was very nice, also the view and feeling being next to the djungle. Around 5 / 6 pm a lot monkeys regularly came closer to the hotel - which gave us even more djungle and nature vibes. The staff was very nice (very carefull when the monkeys came, also very friendly all the time). I loved the Balinese massage in the ALila Spa, it was one of the best I ever had. In total: We loved our stay at ALila (even it‘s a bit overpriced, e. g. size of meals, no breakfast included).

The sizes of all meals (breakfast & lunch) were quiet small compared to their price.

The staff at the Alila were truly fantastic, very friendly and called us by our names. Breakfast was always delicious and a la carte and you could order as much as you wanted. The location is also great, as you’re away from the hustle and bustle of the main town you feel like you’re in the jungle but with all the comforts of home - and you can see monkeys in the evenings which like to hang out around the hotel.

The bathrooms could do with a bit more light and a make up mirror.

The hotel is really beautiful, nested in the middle of nature with a very picturesque view. The pool specifically was beautiful and the food at the pool cafe was delicious. The staff were very helpful and always smiling.

We had specified that we needed twin beds but we got a regular double bed. The staff tried to accommodate us by separating the beds (two mattresses) but they were still glued to each other. Also, the mattresses were uncomfortable, but this did not prevent us from enjoying the experience overall. The hotel is perfect for people who want to spend most of their time by the pool and at the resort. The location is a bit far from ubud downtown (15-20 minutes), with free shuttles during the day, but in the evenings, you will need to get a cab and make sure the driver will pick you up back to the hotel.

The hotel is located in a very natural and beautiful site, close to rice fields. The free activities at hotel are good and we enjoyed the yoga and rice field tour. If we stay longer, we would do Taichi as well. Hotel staffs are really well trained and friendly. They accommodated most of our needs.

The sound insulation of the room was really poor. Since we are from Australia and are used to go to bed early, we are normally in bed around 9-10 pm local time (12am-1am in OZ), we were waken up 3 nights in a row. We can hear next door showing , people walking by and baby crying 2 villas away. It was really awkward. Another thing is the room is really small, hard to get around. Last thing is the difficulty to get a ride. We never successfully got any ride by using the local app( something like Uber). Everyday we had to ask reception to get us a car that costs double than normal price

3 days there is an awesome experience, the staffs are very kind, the jungle view is amazing, and we love their pool as well. we chose to stay in their forest view villa, the view from the window is excellent. if you wanna go to ubud, please try to stay in Alila for some days. you wont regret

Loved the location, the vibe, others guests around were very sweet & friendly. Views from some rooms are excellent, some are average. Go there for peace and solace, and you'll find it.

Expected a bit more out of it. Being a retreat & spa, there should have been more wellness activities, like trekking, cycling, yoga, Tai chi, etc. That was extremely limited. They didn't even have a steam or sauna. I just thought it would be there. For the price they charge compared to other places, there should have been a lot more.
