Artini 2 Cottage really is a gem in Ubud. The location is fantastic. My two favourite things were enjoying the pool and the excellent service. Special acknowledgment to Katut, his friendliness and hospitable nature makes you feels so comfortable and welcomed as do the rest of the staff. Katut will check in with you to see if you are comfortable or need anything. There are a variety of rooms, which do differ. I was lucky to stay above the breakfast area overlooking the pool which made my stay really special. For those that love the trees and jungle feel there are rooms surrounded by gardens and trees as well. It is more traditional accomodation. Take mozzie repellant, there are a few! The staff will kindly assist you with any issues. I will be back and will recommend Artini 2 cottages to family and friends.

The first room I was in did not look like the photos advertised. I feel the owner should update the photos to be a true and honest reflection of the rooms. I was moved rooms due to mosquitoes and preferred my second room.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, great balcony with chairs for sitting. Artini is tucked away so is quite but only seconds walk to restaurants, shops & supermarket. This is the third time I have stayed at Artini. My room was upstairs which I thought might be a problem as the stairs are steep but I actually loved being on the top floor. The view was beautiful & I didn't have anyone staying above me. So noise wasn't a problem.i really enjoyed my stay here. ♡♡♡

When I checked in staff member was helpful but not necessarily friendly. The desk was often without a staff member so asking questions & getting services was a little tricky. Not bad but not amazing either. The bathroom needs a revamp. If you love a bath you are going to enjoy it immensely. I unfortunately like to shower & this wasn't very comfortable. And difficult to not get water on the floor. A hair dryer would be helpful. They are super cheap to purchase these days so I was surprised one wasn't included.

Right in the middle of frantic Ubud is this calm spacious quiet oasis. Whilst it’s not 5 star it’s very comfortable, aesthetically pleasing (lovely well tended grounds and villas), relaxing and very well located for other sightseeing and excursions. Many of the staff don’t speak English but the host guy was lovely and helpful.

The cafe/restaurant by the pool is rudimentary at best and basically not licenced (except for Bintang). There is plenty to eat and drink nearby outside the hotel but don’t expect extensive and delicious room service options. The breakfast is pretty plain.

the floors were not very clean in my bedroom being woken up by the monkeys was fun but also can be disturbing on a sleep level the temple next door at times very loud with performances until midnight, maybe something that should be mentioned before you book taxi rates a bit higher than normal when booked through the hotel

The hotel was well located, the staff excellent, always smiling and kind. The restaurant is pretty good, you can eat all your meals there and they do a good job.

The only recommendation is that in our room the AC aimed directly in our faces, it was uncomfortable. We recommended the reception to change the way the furniture was set up and we were told, we weren’t the first to complain about it. Hopefully they change it for the next guest.

Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Organised 2 tours with Wayan at reception. Room was nice, comfortable bed. Good location, close to restaurants and monkey forest. Restaurant and breakfast were good. Pool area is nice.

Amazing garden and swimming pool area, very nice staff, cleaning every day, location close to shops, restaurant and monkey forest. We were surprised how quiet it gets when you walk into hotel from the busy street- all you can hear than is bird singing. We tried food once in the hotel restaurant and it was very tasty. Overall we were happy with our stay.

Some people might appreciate the balinese style of the house, but for us it was too dark and too old. Also bathroom cry for refurbishment and deep cleaning in my opinion. Mattresses on sunbeds looks very dated too. Due to lack of coffee choices in restaurant we never tried breakfast there.

limited breakfast be aware of wooden steps, I had an accident there, fell down on rotten wooden step, hotel fixed it imediately after but I was already hurt....

This place has a really calm and peaceful vibe despite being just off of the main road which was super convenient. The pool area is beautiful and very leafy with pretty statues around. The bed was huge and really comfortable and the room was spacious, we were on the second floor and it felt like being in a treehouse surrounded by nature. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The bathroom was basic but it was as shown in the photo so this wasn’t a problem for me. Some might see this place as a little rough around the edges but this only added to its charm for me and I think it is great value. Air conditioning was really effective and WiFi very good. The location is prefect with load of shops and cafes on your doorstep. Staff are very friendly. Would 100% stay again, thank you!
